Chapter 267: Chapter 265: Tsuruta Siblings

In Tsuruta Wu’s eyes, a ”black dot” floated on the surface of the sea.

As the seawater pushed it, the black dot gradually got closer. Upon closer inspection, it was actually a person! On the boundless ocean, this floating figure seemed incredibly lonely and helpless.

And that floating figure was none other than Xiao Tian, who had collapsed from exhaustion that day!

Following Tsuruta Wu’s gaze, Tsuruta Xiong also noticed Xiao Tian floating on the sea. He hesitated not a moment and leapt onto their small fishing boat, quickly paddling towards him.

The fishing boat slid up to Xiao Tian, and Tsuruta Xiong hurriedly lifted him onto the boat. Tsuruta Xiong placed his hand under Xiao Tian’s nose.

”Thank goodness, he’s still breathing!” said Tsuruta Xiong, surprised and delighted.

----

In the afternoon, as the sun set in the west, the entire small fishing village seemed bathed in golden dust, appearing exceptionally beautiful.

”Brother, is this person still alive?”

Inside a somewhat rundown house, Tsuruta Wu’s big eyes blinked repeatedly as she gazed at Xiao Tian.

This place was already remote. Apart from the fish merchants, they rarely saw strangers all year round, making Tsuruta Wu’s eyes filled with curiosity.

Tsuruta Xiong picked up a clean towel and placed it on Xiao Tian’s forehead, carefully examining him. Though Xiao Tian was not in any immediate danger, his body was burning with fever and very weak. Clearly, he had drifted on the sea for too long, suffering severe injuries, making his survival until now nothing short of miraculous.

”He’s alive, but we don’t know when he’ll wake up...” Tsuruta Xiong sighed.

Judging by Xiao Tian’s appearance, it was obvious he had been seriously injured before.

”What should we do then? How can we contact his family? We don’t have a phone here...”

The area was very remote, impoverished, and backward. Modern conveniences like television and computers were only found in the mayor’s home.

Tsuruta Xiong thought for a moment, then seriously said, ”Use the money from selling fish to buy some supplements and good food. We need to wake him up!”

Tsuruta Wu nodded without any hesitation, took the money from selling fish, and ran out.

Half an hour later, Tsuruta Wu returned home carrying bags filled with various nutritional supplements and food.

The siblings took turns looking after Xiao Tian, fearing any accident might occur.

----

The next morning, the sea breeze blew into the house.

Xiao Tian slowly opened his eyes, and the first thing he saw was a worn-out ceiling.

With a face full of confusion, Xiao Tian tried to organize his thoughts. According to his memory, to protect the data and ensure Lin Bingxuan’s safe return to their country, he engaged in a fierce battle with the Japanese army. Ultimately, gravely wounded, he fell into the sea... and was surprisingly swallowed by a shark, leading to his exhaustion and collapse...

Under such circumstances, survival seemed impossible. At that moment, Xiao Tian thought he had arrived in heaven.

”Uh...”

Just as Xiao Tian was about to speak, his body was stricken with intense pain, an overwhelming sense of weakness spreading throughout.

Even Xiao Tian believed he was doomed, indicating how dire the situation was.

However, the agonizing sensation was so real. Xiao Tian felt he was still alive!

He looked at the vividly real surroundings, everything was unmistakably authentic. Could it be... this wasn’t heaven?

At this moment, Xiao Tian’s mind buzzed with confusion. What on earth was happening?

To Xiao Tian’s surprise, his severely damaged body was now gradually regenerating! Every cell was filled with a strength he never possessed before!

Xiao Tian also felt warmth in his chest, as a peculiar power coursed through his body.

This power initiated transformations and evolutions throughout his body!

The previously consumed genes were now slowly reconstructing, emerging more formidable than ever!

Despite Xiao Tian’s current extreme weakness, his cells and genes were aggressively growing and evolving!

The mysterious force intertwined with Xiao Tian’s body. Though he couldn’t move or speak, he distinctly felt his body strengthening!

Once his body fully recovered, and the previously damaged cells and genes rebuilt, his strength would undoubtedly increase dramatically!

”You’re awake?”

At that moment, a sweet, beautiful girl entered with a bowl of fish soup.

Unable to speak, Xiao Tian gratefully looked at the girl, guessing she was the one who saved him?

Tsuruta Wu examined Xiao Tian, noting he seemed unable to speak, his lips were cracked.

”You’ve been comatose for several days... My brother saved you initially. How did you end up drifting on the vast sea? Luckily, we found you.”

Tsuruta Wu said while feeding Xiao Tian spoonfuls of fish soup.

”Drifting on the sea?”

Listening to Tsuruta Wu, Xiao Tian found it increasingly strange. He remembered a pendant on his chest emitting light, guiding him to leave, yet he fainted before even taking two steps.

Xiao Tian strained to look down but was astonished to find the pendant had vanished.

Due to recently waking up, his body remained weak. Before long, Xiao Tian fell asleep again.

-----

Meanwhile, in Japan, efforts to search for Xiao Tian hadn’t halted for days. The military mobilized all their forces, searching every possible place.

Yet, despite the intense search, Japan found no trace of Xiao Tian. Virtually everyone believed Xiao Tian was dead.

However, due to the catastrophic damage Xiao Tian caused, even though everyone assumed he was dead, deep down the military’s fear hadn’t subsided, and nationwide alerts and lockdowns remained in place.

The worst affected was Japan’s Prime Minister.

Initially, he thought Xiao Tian’s death would allow him to relax, but who could’ve imagined a living person vanishing without a trace despite being under surveillance by thousands of elite troops?

As long as Xiao Tian’s body remained unfound, the Prime Minister couldn’t rest easy.

----

Japanese TV stations officially reported Xiao Tian’s death, leading to celebrations across Japan.

At a luxurious palace complex in Tokyo, Ozawa Miwa sat absent-mindedly in a room.

Countless scenes flashed through her mind.

The images gradually settled, revealing Xiao Tian’s face, alongside an indescribable feeling from the girl.
