Chapter 274: Chapter 272: Taking Action!

Japan, Hiroshima Fishing Village.

At six in the evening, the sun set, and the last trace of the sunset vanished entirely, bringing along the engulfing darkness.

However, in the central square of this fishing village, there was a blaze raging. Thick smoke was billowing.

This small square is usually for villagers to celebrate major festivals with bonfires. At this moment, it was crowded with people, but all their gazes were unbearably awkward and tense.

Right in front of the large bonfire built in the center of the square, Tsuruta Xiong was tied to a wooden stick. Although there was some distance from the bonfire, at this moment, Tsuruta Xiong was already drenched in sweat, as if he was about to be scorched.

In the crowd, Tsuruta Wu, who was held immobile by several thugs, was tearfully crying out, ”Brother!!! Let go of my brother!!!!”

However, the girl’s cries didn’t gain any sympathy from this group of hooligans; instead, Heimu She and Gu Tiantou beside him laughed even more arrogantly.

Heimu She glanced at Tsuruta Wu with a wicked smile, his face full of greed as he said, ”Don’t worry, I’ll take good care of you soon!”

Gu Tiantou, standing beside him, couldn’t help but sneer at Tsuruta Xiong’s miserable state, ”Where’s the guy who dared to oppose us? Where did he run off to?”

Gu Tiantou, known to be the most notorious thug within hundreds of miles, had countless lackeys. Unexpectedly, he was intimidated by Xiao Tian before!

For him, this was undoubtedly a great humiliation. So this time, he must take revenge and must dismember Xiao Tian in front of everyone.

Tsuruta Xiong knew Gu Tiantou was referring to Xiao Tian, and his expression turned cold as he snorted, ”Why didn’t you dare to talk like this in front of Xiao then? You cowardly dog!”

”Slap!”

As soon as Tsuruta Xiong finished speaking, Gu Tiantou rushed over and slapped Tsuruta Xiong fiercely on the face, and Tsuruta Xiong’s face instantly flushed red.

Obviously, Tsuruta Xiong’s words made Gu Tiantou feel utterly humiliated. Indeed, when facing Xiao Tian before, despite having the advantage in numbers, he was so frightened that he fled in a panic.

”Courting death!!” Gu Tiantou glared angrily.

”Hahaha, if this Xiao you talk about is so great and dares to hit us, why doesn’t he dare to show up now? I think he’s just a cowardly turtle!”

Heimu She coldly laughed upon hearing Tsuruta Xiong’s words.

Then, he viciously glanced at Tsuruta Xiong, his tone full of murderous intent, ”Our people aren’t so easy to touch. Since you refuse to reveal that brat’s whereabouts, tonight, I’m going to burn you into human oil!”

Saying this, Heimu She waved his hand, and a group of lackeys quickly approached Tsuruta Xiong, planning to throw him into the enormous bonfire.

The raging flames were burning fiercely, and if thrown into it, he would likely be completely burned within minutes.

Many of the villagers watching from the side saw this scene and shook their heads helplessly, sighing. They felt immense sympathy for the Tsuruta siblings.

They knew in their hearts that after Tsuruta Xiong was killed, Tsuruta Wu would likely not escape being ravaged by Heimu She either.

But Heimu She’s father, Heimu Well, is the mayor of Linyin Town, controlling numerous workers and shady figures in the surrounding factories, hotels, and karaoke bars.

This place is very far from the city, located in a remote area, and the chief of the nearby only police station is one of the Heimu Family. With such strength backing them, who dares to provoke the Heimu Family?

Anyone who dares to stand up and oppose them would be lucky to just be crippled. There have been lessons before; some factory workers got into disputes with Heimu Well over wage dissatisfaction, and later were severely beaten by people sent by Heimu Well. Those workers, unwilling to give in, planned to report it to the city, but their car was smashed to pieces by a falling boulder from the mountain before leaving the town, and no one in the car survived.

Here, the Heimu Family is like local emperors; a few human lives mean nothing to them. Especially when it’s about the poor people of the fishing village.

”Brother!!!”

Tsuruta Wu cried out in despair, desperately trying to rush forward, and many fishermen in the village couldn’t help but shed tears, unable to bear watching.

Yet Heimu She remained unmoved, waiting for another ten minutes. Seeing that Xiao Tian still hadn’t appeared, he went on without hesitation, saying directly, ”Burn him for me!”

”Yes!”

Upon hearing the order, the thugs immediately lifted Tsuruta Xiong and step by step moved him towards the bonfire. In everyone’s eyes, with every step these thugs took, Tsuruta Xiong was getting closer to the gateway of death.

Looking at the flames that were growing bigger and the scorching sensation on him, Tsuruta Xiong showed no trace of fear on his face!

”Throw him in!”

The thugs dragged Tsuruta Xiong to the edge of the bonfire, tilting his body forward, just about to throw him into the fire. Just then, a sudden gust of wind rushed from the surrounding woods!

The wind was so strong that it swept through the heavens and the earth, even causing the bonfire to waver, seemingly about to be extinguished.

The thugs were stunned for a second by the sudden gust of wind. The next moment, a fist-sized stone, accompanied by a whistling sound, shot through the night sky in a straight line.

That straight line, like a javelin, shot directly through the temples of several thugs with a ”whoosh”!

In an instant, the thugs fell to the ground without even closing their eyes, and Tsuruta Xiong finally broke free, retreating to the side.

”Oh my God!!”

Everyone present turned pale at this sight, an extreme shock washed over them.

Amidst the crowd, Heimu She watched as a group of thugs was killed by a single stone, his face immediately filled with dread, his pupils contracted.

What kind of trick is this?? A demon??

Heimu She had never seen such a scene in his twenty-some years of life.

Seeing the thugs lying on the ground with large holes in their heads and blood flowing incessantly, at this moment, he was directly trembling in fear, his legs turning to jelly. His mind was unable to process anything.

”Whoosh whoosh whoosh”

At this moment, the nearby woods made a sound, and everyone’s gaze turned toward it. They saw Xiao Tian burst forth from the woods the next moment, as if treading on wind, lightly stepping in midair.

After a few steps, Xiao Tian stood directly in front of Heimu She and Gu Tiantou.

At this moment, Xiao Tian’s face was filled with confidence. His aura was much more formidable compared to before he was injured!

Xiao Tian coldly said to Heimu She in front of him, ”You people are really persistent.”

Heimu She, who had always been a bully, had his arrogance disappear completely at this moment, replaced by an inner fear.

He didn’t want to end up like his lackeys, with shattered heads. Without hesitating for a second, he knelt on the ground, bowing fiercely.
