God-Level Special Forces Soldier

Chapter 251: Chapter 249: The Decision

The scene at Tokyo’s Forest Airport was calm.

At this moment, a group of elite Huaxia members were waiting here, beside them, Xiao Tian was sitting cross-legged with closed eyes, inhaling and exhaling, silently reciting the mantra of Iron Chain Cross River in his heart.

Since the Japanese experts were able to intercept them, this hidden airport was certainly exposed, yet the Japanese did not pursue them unusually.

Anxiety grew worse in Xiao Tian’s heart; he could not believe that the Japanese would simply let them go, surely they had other plans.

Thus, Xiao Tian hastily sat cross-legged and operated the Qi Technique within his body to heal wounds.

After three high-intensity battles, even Xiao Tian, who had experienced hellish training in Somalia, was somewhat overwhelmed. Thankfully, his monstrous recovery power prevented him from collapsing.

At this moment, as his injuries recovered bit by bit, their hope of escaping increased bit by bit too!

Right as Xiao Tian was healing his injuries, waves of rotor noises gradually came from afar. A white helicopter swiftly landed at the Forest Airport.

”Quick, get on the plane! It was very troublesome getting here, seems like the Japanese have already confirmed our location!”

As the helicopter landed, the pilot hurriedly yelled while opening the door, not daring to waste a second.

He Hong and the others nodded solemnly and quickly boarded the helicopter, which then took off directly.

Sitting in his seat, Xiao Tian looked at the ground outside the window growing more distant. He felt a vague unease, warily watching the surroundings.

It’s too abnormal. The Japanese not taking action until now is really strange!

At this moment, several nearby elite Huaxia members finally exhaled, unable to suppress cheering.

They all initially prepared for certain death, not imagining they could still return alive!

Just as several people were excited, seeing the helicopter rise higher and higher, alarms suddenly rang inside the helicopter.

”Beep beep beep beep beep beep.”

The pilot’s expression froze instantly upon hearing this sound; the helicopter stopped mid-air, not daring to move.

”What’s wrong?” Seeing the situation amiss, He Hong urgently asked vigilantly.

The pilot’s hands trembled, eyes vacant, taking a long time before speaking, ”We’ve...been missile locked!!”

”What??”

As soon as the pilot spoke, the atmosphere inside the helicopter changed drastically, expressions filled with despair and helplessness among the elite Huaxia members.

If the enemy launched a missile right now, they would all be wiped out!

”Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep.”

The alarms sounded endlessly, Xiao Tian angrily clenched his fist.

”Just as expected!” Xiao Tian shouted in anger.

These insidious Japanese indeed had their movements mapped out long ago, just waiting for them to board the helicopter for a one-shot solution, destroying both people and machine!

Upon hearing the helicopter was missile locked, Lin Bingxuan also recognized the severity of the situation. Fearsome as if everyone inside might die here today. But her face bore unparalleled determination, as though she had made a decision.

She directly hugged Xiao Tian’s arm, her gaze devoid of fear.

If she could die alongside Xiao Tian, she would die without regret!

Seeing Lin Bingxuan’s actions, Xiao Tian felt touched. He understood Lin Bingxuan had already prepared for certain death!

”Isn’t it just death? I stormed Japanese Intelligence for a while, killed so many Japanese agents. In my life, worthwhile!”

He Hong didn’t show a trace of fear, directly roaring with anger, full of heroic spirit.

Everyone aboard the helicopter were iron-blooded soldiers, already putting life and death aside.

But Xiao Tian furrowed his brows, pondering how to escape.

All these years, Xiao Tian had always walked on the edge of a knife; every time seemed like certain death. Yet miraculously, he survived each time.

Easily surrendering wasn’t his style.

Most importantly, he didn’t want Lin Bingxuan to die! Didn’t wish for his woman to once again pay the ultimate price because of him.

The incident with Liu Hanyan years ago left him deeply remorseful, a lifelong regret.

Now, facing the same crisis, Xiao Tian had long swore a venomous oath in his heart, no matter what, he would protect Lin Bingxuan and the elite Huaxia members.

For the sake of Lin Bingxuan and the country!

The helicopter was stationary mid-air when Xiao Tian suddenly noticed a distant shrine. Years ago, when Xiao Tian visited Japan, he heard that the major Japanese families revered shrines with nearly fanatical sincerity, believing shrines could ensure eternal peace for their families.

Xiao Tian’s eyes brightened, and he immediately came up with an idea.

”Head northeast direction! Right now the helicopter is in a forested area, surrounded by mountains; hitting us directly with a missile is still somewhat difficult!” Xiao Tian directly said.

”Alright!” The pilot nodded, as he was ready to die anyway, no longer caring about anything.

The helicopter swiftly flew northeast, and at that moment, Xiao Tian stood up, reaching out to hug Lin Bingxuan, planting a gentle kiss on her forehead.

After the kiss, Xiao Tian unexpectedly opened the helicopter door and jumped out sharply!! Lin Bingxuan reached out desperately, but only caught a trace of air.

”Wait no longer!”

As Xiao Tian jumped down, a sentence reached everyone’s ears.

Lin Bingxuan was dumbfounded, the swirling winds blew inside, her hair fluttered with the wind.

In the next moment, Lin Bingxuan’s eyes were filled with tears; she screamed loudly, ”Xiao Tian!!!!”

Xiao Tian’s speed was so fast that he gave others no chance to respond.

Seeing Xiao Tian’s body plummet quickly through the air, directly towards the shrine, He Hong’s eyes reddened, his voice choked, filled with shock.

After a while, He Hong slowly said, ”Xiao Tian... wants to use the shrine to threaten the Japanese, to protect our departure!”

”Xiao Tian!!!”

The elite Huaxia members on the helicopter had bloodshot eyes, roaring to the sky.

Bang bang bang bang bang.

The elites’ eyes were covered with tears. They drew their pistols, angrily firing several shots into the air.

They used this way to bid farewell to their best comrade, Xiao Tian!

----

Xiao Tian fell in mid-air, fierce winds blowing past, stabbing his face like a sharp knife.

While descending, Xiao Tian controlled his direction, targeting a small grove just dozens of meters away from the shrine.

Xiao Tian seemed to be gliding midway, as if taking Void Stepping. Quickly, he drew nearer to the ground; he suddenly surged his body forward, swiftly veering right. Passing a large tree instantly, Xiao Tian stretched out his big hand to grasp a branch, using a gentle force to sway himself upward.

Without hesitation, Xiao Tian pressed his feet against the tree trunk, stepping as if flying, rapidly moving towards the shrine ahead.
