God-Level Special Forces Soldier

Chapter 200: Chapter 198: Miraculous!

In the intensive care unit, Xiao Tian was carefully examining Zhong Kexin’s injuries, devising a surgical plan in his mind.

Indeed, the location of Zhong Kexin’s bullet wound was dangerously close to fatal. If it had shifted upwards even a fraction, Zhong Kexin might have died instantly.

At this moment, Zhong Kexin’s back was a blur of flesh and blood, and Xiao Tian couldn’t help but feel a twinge of pain in his heart. He carefully wiped away the blood with antiseptic cotton, revealing a red bullet hole in front of him.

Several doctors outside the room were looking at Xiao Tian in the ward, but none held any hope.

The injured person was the most severely injured patient their hospital had ever encountered. By the time she arrived, she was almost on the verge of losing all vital signs. Even the internationally renowned Dr. Smith only had a theoretical 20% success rate.

As for the sudden appearance of Xiao Tian, they clearly did not believe he could save Zhong Kexin. In the country, those with such medical skills were mostly at the military district hospital in the capital. They were all renowned doctors in Huaxia, and clearly Xiao Tian was not on that list.

Seeing Xiao Tian inside the ward not making a move for so long, some murmurs began to spread.

”Humph, look at this guy, he’s been standing there forever without moving; I bet he doesn’t know how to perform surgery.”

”Even Dr. Smith wouldn’t dare to take the risk. Not even Hua Tuo could save her now!”

The surrounding discussions continued. Smith wore a cold smile, watching Xiao Tian inside.

Smith knew the difficulty of this surgery well; claiming a 20% chance was just to save face. Smith understood that even if he were to operate, the success rate would absolutely not be greater than 5%! Because the bullet location was simply too dangerous; one wrong step and everything would fall apart!

Unless that ”Divine Doctor” who was active in America years ago could appear. But that doctor had retired for many years, leaving only various legends.

So in Smith’s view, Xiao Tian was merely making a futile struggle.

Not only Smith, but everyone was skeptical of Xiao Tian, watching him with cold eyes, believing this was an impossible surgery.

Only Yu Ningxue was watching Xiao Tian nervously, silently praying for him.

-----

Compared to outside the ward, the inside was much quieter, with only the sounds of the ventilator and ECG.

After making sure for a while, Xiao Tian finally took a deep breath and started the surgery!

Previously, when Xiao Tian was active abroad, he had treated more severe injuries, and successfully too. But those were outsiders after all.

Facing his own kin now, Xiao Tian couldn’t help but feel his breath quicken.

He carefully made an incision near the bullet hole and began to clear out clots. The clots had turned black now, and the sight of flesh and blood was shocking.

The people outside looked at Xiao Tian with some surprise. They didn’t expect him to be so skilled in wielding the scalpel.

Smith, however, sneered, ”Being able to wield a scalpel is nothing. Any fool who has studied this for two days can clean out clots, but let’s see how he extracts the bullet!”

As time ticked away, Xiao Tian kept cleaning out the clots from the wound. Then, he applied anesthesia; the entire process was smooth like flowing water, and gradually the group of doctors outside quieted down.

Processing the wound so quickly and cleanly requires an incredibly strong surgical skill, something that can’t be learned just last minute.

Although the bullet wasn’t extracted yet, just being able to do this was very impressive.

Standing at the door, Zhang Xiaoguang’s expression became serious, because he was astonished to find that even with twenty years of clinical experience, he couldn’t handle the wound as smoothly as Xiao Tian!

Xiao Tian seemed to be an artist, his scalpel like a paintbrush, handling every detail perfectly!

After Xiao Tian finished handling the wounds, he finally started planning to extract the bullet.

What no one expected was that Xiao Tian directly started operating on the bullet hole, shocking everyone.

Because Zhong Kexin’s bullet wound was close to the carotid artery.

The only option was to operate from elsewhere, bit by bit infiltrating the wound to find the bullet, even then the success rate was minuscule. Direct operation equaled directly killing her!

”Is this guy crazy? How could he operate directly?!” Zhang Xiaoguang exclaimed in shock.

Not only Zhang Xiaoguang, all the doctors held their breath, watching how Xiao Tian was going to complete the surgery.

Only Smith outside smiled even more, coldly saying to himself.

”Arrogant Huaxia people, the game is over!”

Under everyone’s gaze, Xiao Tian precisely maneuvered the scalpel to probe near the bullet. Xiao Tian’s arm was as steady as a machine, without a tremor, and the scalpel only had its very tip inside searching for the bullet.

What seemed like a simple movement, if not careful, could cause the carotid artery to rupture. Everyone focused on the ECG.

Time passed second by second, watching Xiao Tian’s quick yet steady movements, everyone was stunned.

Among them was Smith, who had just been laughing. When he saw Xiao Tian’s scalpel moving back and forth over the wound, while the patient’s heartbeat remained stable, his face finally fell, sweating profusely.

”How...is this possible?” Because even he wouldn’t dare operate directly on the wound!

It required 100% accuracy with not even a millimeter of deviation!

In Huaxia, how could there be someone like this?? Smith’s face was livid, incredibly distressed.

Xiao Tian’s scalpel was meticulously searching within. Finally, he felt a hard sensation.

”Found it!”

Xiao Tian’s face immediately lit up with joy. Without hesitation, he made a small circular incision inside the wound, with the carotid artery just a millimeter away.

Xiao Tian tilted the scalpel sideways, threading it through the gap, slightly exerting force. The bullet was gradually brought out; the process was fast, harsh, and precise, without even a trace of blood.

Then Xiao Tian took a clamp and precisely extracted the slightly blood-stained bullet, without grazing the fragile artery—a seamless operation!

Next was just the wound suturing, the simplest step. Xiao Tian picked up the needle and thread, quickly suturing the wound. Xiao Tian’s dexterity with the needle was more nimble than a girl’s hands; the wounds perfectly stitched together, as if already healed.

Several minutes later, the entire surgery was finally completed triumphantly!

Looking at the stable curves on the ECG, there was a momentary silence outside the door, followed by thunderous applause.

”Divine Doctor!!” Zhang Xiaoguang said in shock, unsure of what to say, seeing Xiao Tian come out. After some time, he slowly uttered these two words.
