God-Level Special Forces Soldier

Chapter 170: Chapter 168: Hunter!

At night, Xiao Tian drove back to Lin Bingxuan’s villa. He didn’t know how many days he would be gone this time, so he needed to say goodbye to Lin Bingxuan before leaving.

Returning to the villa, he discovered that Lin Bingxuan was on a business trip. Helplessly, Xiao Tian had to call Lin Bingxuan to explain the situation.

After hanging up the phone, Xiao Tian looked at the stars outside the window, but he felt no trace of sleepiness. At this moment, his heart was full of anxiety. If he could, he would have rushed to Somalia right away to gather news about Han Yan.

However, Somalia was notoriously chaotic, a mix of various characters. It’s said that many bigwigs from the overseas Huaxia community mingled there, and some even used private armies.

If he went there rashly and it turned out to be Fan Ming’s trick to lure him, wouldn’t he be walking right into a trap?

Xiao Tian sat on the sofa, thinking. Suddenly, a name flashed in his mind.

Zhao Gang!

District Chief Zhao Gang of the Special Military Region!

In Huaxia, the Special Military Region is a unique institution. As the name implies, it’s a special forces military district, where everyone is secretly relocated with their families from the moment their identity is confirmed. No one would ever hear from them again.

Each of them is a monster capable of taking on a hundred opponents alone, with various identities like ”tycoon” or ”famous writer” as their cover in the outside world.

”Maybe I can get some equipment from Zhao Gang!” Xiao Tian muttered to himself.

Meanwhile, in Huaxia, in the office of the head of the special forces district.

Zhao Gang looked at the stack of documents in his hand, his face growing increasingly grim, accompanied by slight trembling.

Standing before Zhao Gang, Bai Zhan, the captain of the Fierce Tiger Special Team, was cautiously watching Zhao Gang.

Outside, the Fierce Tiger Special Team is a household name. Every member there can take on a hundred opponents alone, with their fame echoing throughout the entire military district and even Huaxia.

As the team leader, Bai Zhan is particularly renowned in the military. Years ago, he single-handedly destroyed a cross-border drug cartel, climbing step by step to his current position, becoming a genuine military idol.

However, in front of Zhao Gang, the head of the special forces district, Bai Zhan didn’t dare to even breathe heavily.

”Bunch of idiots!! All idiots!!!” After an unknown amount of time, Zhao Gang finally exploded, throwing the documents in his hand harshly to the ground, his voice seething with rage.

Bai Zhan stood straight, not daring to react in any way.

”You trained soldiers for a thousand days to use them for one moment. Such an important criminal was actually taken away? Where does this leave the face of Huaxia’s special forces?!!” Zhao Gang roared.

This prisoner was an internationally renowned drug lord, an international felon. Just like that, he was taken away, wouldn’t it make Huaxia a laughing stock for those foreigners?

Bai Zhan lowered his head, ”Report, sir, we sent out all the elites of the special forces. However, the opponent was clearly malicious, with extremely ruthless tactics. Several comrades risked their lives but still couldn’t stop them!”

”Hmph!” Zhao Gang was about to speak when the red phone on the desk suddenly rang.

At this, Zhao Gang’s brows furrowed. The red phone is a special communication channel in the military, only used by high-ranking officials.

Could this matter have already reached other military districts?

”Hello, this is Zhao Gang!” Zhao Gang said directly.

After a while, a slow voice came from the other end, ”District Chief Zhao, do you remember me?”

The caller was none other than Xiao Tian. When Zhao Gang heard Xiao Tian’s voice, he was apparently taken aback for a moment.

”You.... could it be??”

”It’s me, Xiao Tian!”

Xiao Tian!

Upon hearing the name ”Xiao Tian,” Zhao Gang’s previously angry expression immediately turned to one of joy.

”Hahahaha, you brat, you finally decided to call us!” Zhao Gang laughed.

How could he not be familiar with Xiao Tian? He was once the director of the Ministry of State Security, a position on par with his own!

Moreover, most terrifyingly, Zhao Gang was already over fifty, while Xiao Tian had reached the same level at a young age.

This was backed by numerous battle accolades as a foundation, a presence even treasured by Elder Zhu.

Unfortunately, because of that incident, Xiao Tian retired early and left the country, something the military deeply regretted.

Seeing the beaming Zhao Gang, Bai Zhan next to him was truly startled. Who could possibly have called to make Zhao Gang so happy? Zhao Gang wasn’t known for his temper; even if a dragon came, it would have to coil. But to think someone could make the supreme leader Zhao Gang this elated? Who had such capability?

On the other end of the phone, Xiao Tian said, ”I’m planning to visit Somalia in a few days and wanted to pick up some weapons from you. No problem, right?”

”No problem, no problem, feel free to pick whatever we have here, hahahaha. By the way, once things are settled, you better come for a drink with me, or I won’t let you off!” Zhao Gang nodded with a smile. For someone like Xiao Tian, forget picking a few weapons; even if he wanted to take a tank, Zhao Gang had no objections.

After hanging up the phone, Zhao Gang directly instructed, ”An old friend will come by later to pick up some weapons. Go support him, and remember, don’t hold back, he’s one of ours!”

”Oh.” Bai Zhan nodded. He knew Zhao Gang wasn’t someone who liked to dawdle, but he couldn’t help his curiosity.

Who could be treated with such regard by Zhao Gang?

”Um... sir, exactly who am I supposed to support?” Bai Zhan finally couldn’t hold back his curiosity and probed the question, bracing himself for a scolding.

Zhao Gang simply smiled, ”Xiao Tian... no, you might be more familiar with the name ’Hunter’!”

”What??” Bai Zhan’s expression froze instantly.

”Hunter?? That military god??”

Bai Zhan, full of shock, walked out of Zhao Gang’s office. The name ”Hunter” was legendary to anyone in the military!

Not only did he become the director of the Ministry of State Security at a young age, but he also completed many missions alone that seemed nearly impossible! To the military, Hunter was undoubtedly the strongest bullet capable of piercing the enemy’s heart!

There are countless rumors about him. Bai Zhan had very few people he truly respected in his life, and Hunter was his most admired idol!

He couldn’t believe he was going to meet his idol so soon?

Bai Zhan was very excited as he started a military jeep in the garage, eager to meet this Hunter.

The next day, at the military district gate, Bai Zhan saw a young man standing there.

Previously, Bai Zhan had seen Xiao Tian from afar, so he naturally recognized him!

Bai Zhan quickly jumped out of the car, ran a few steps to Xiao Tian, and saluted deeply.

”Captain of the Fierce Tiger Special Team, Bai Zhan, reporting to the chief!”
