God-Level Special Forces Soldier

Chapter 187: Chapter 185: Winds Rise

The entire forest was astonishingly calm, while Xiao Tian silently adjusted his body.

The two knew very well what they were about to face once they stepped outside. Days passed by just like this.

Finally, on a certain morning, Xiao Tian, who had been keeping his eyes tightly shut, suddenly opened them.

He slowly exhaled a breath, stood up, and moved his arms casually.

During his training, Xiao Tian felt a slight hidden pain within his body. After a period of thorough rest, that pain had completely vanished. Xiao Tian’s body was now fully restored to its condition before coming to Somalia.

Under this hellish training, his strength had improved by an unknown amount compared to before he arrived here.

At this moment, Xiao Tian wore an incredibly confident smile.

”Let’s go, don’t let them wait for too long,” Xiao Tian said with a smile, naturally referring to the Starlight Five Staff Members who had previously forced him into a desperate situation.

After saying this, Xiao Tian hesitated not a moment and quickly left the rainforest.

Following behind, Ghost Face gave a faint smile and casually kept up.

Now that Xiao Tian’s body had fully recovered, and given that Ghost Face was already swift in his body technique, the two of them raced through the rainforest, stepping across trees as they went.

Occasionally encountering a few wild beasts in pursuit, these beasts were all immediately struck down by Xiao Tian. The forest creatures, smelling the blood on Xiao Tian, dared not advance.

Without the obstructions of wild beasts, their speed increased, and all the beasts could see were two black shadows flashing swiftly through the forest.

Under this speed, after a few hours, Xiao Tian and Ghost Face finally charged out of the forest and arrived on the open road.

----

Meanwhile, a few men happened to be passing by this road, and when they saw the two people rushing out of the rainforest, they were evidently startled.

One of the men found Xiao Tian somewhat familiar and quickly pulled out a photo from his pocket.

Upon seeing that the man in the photo was indeed the same person they encountered, his face was immediately filled with shock.

”Isn’t this the guy our boss is looking for??”

**

One-Eyed Ao was currently on his way to the Northern Forbidden Area. In the past, he certainly wouldn’t have dared to come, but he recently received a message from his subordinates saying they had spotted the long-disappeared Xiao Tian on the road near the southern rainforest and were currently tracking him in secret.

One-Eyed Ao immediately found the contact for the forbidden area and made a call, stating that he had already discovered Xiao Tian. Upon hearing this, the other party took it very seriously, directly asking One-Eyed Ao to meet them at the entrance of the forbidden area.

There were other calculations in One-Eyed Ao’s mind as well; if he could establish good relations with the Northern Forbidden Area!

The forbidden area was something even the military dared not provoke. If that were the case, who would dare to cross him in Somalia in the future?

So this act of informing was also a way to ingratiate himself.

The surprising thing, however, was that Xiao Tian was still alive!

”Hmph, too bad my people discovered him. Let’s see how you survive this time!”

The car arrived at the entrance to the forbidden area, and One-Eyed Ao saw a long Lincoln parked there, obviously waiting for him.

One-Eyed Ao got out of the car, glanced at Star River inside the window, and could sense this person’s aura, confirming that the experts who could defeat Xiao Tian were surely in this car.

Not daring to be negligent, One-Eyed Ao approached the Lincoln respectfully and said, ”You all must be the experts within the forbidden area?”

Star River rolled down the window and said coldly, ”Stop the nonsense. You say you’ve found the person we’re looking for? If you’re lying, I’ll make sure you die without a burial place.”

After all, Xiao Tian had been missing for almost two months, and judging by his injuries, it seemed impossible for him to survive this long. Everyone believed Xiao Tian was already dead, so Star River was evidently skeptical of One-Eyed Ao’s claim.

Seeing Star River’s unfriendly attitude, One-Eyed Ao hastily explained, ”That Xiao Tian is also an enemy of mine. I’ve been searching for him recently. My men say now Xiao Tian and a black-clothed man are in a southern town. It’s absolutely true!”

Star River nodded slightly in thought; the black-clothed person mentioned by One-Eyed Ao was likely the one who rescued Xiao Tian that day. Realizing this, coldness flickered in Star River’s eyes.

”The south?” Star Dust in the car sneered upon hearing this and said, ”Even we don’t dare rashly charge into the southern tropical rainforest. So that’s where he went. This kid really has a great life!”

Subsequently, under the guidance of One-Eyed Ao, the two black extended Lincolns started heading toward the southern border town of Somalia.

-----

In the southern part of Somalia, Ailan Town.

Xiao Tian and Ghost Face had just arrived and went directly into a hotel, ordering a table full of dishes.

Looking at the full table of food, Xiao Tian’s mouth watered. In the forest, they mostly survived by eating wild fruits and roasting animal meat, which had no taste at all, leading a lifestyle like wild men,

Now back in modern life, it was naturally time for a hearty feast.

The two devoured the food ravenously, finishing the table of dishes in under an hour, even surprising the waitstaff.

Ghost Face patted his stomach contentedly, sighing, ”Modern living is better after all.”

Ghost Face then asked, ”What’s the plan next? Leave Somalia or go back to find them?”

”Leave?” Xiao Tian shook his head, ”I’ve lived a life worse than death recently. If I don’t let off some steam, wasn’t all this training pointless? Besides, my main purpose for coming to Somalia is to find someone, and I won’t leave until I get results.”

”Then shall we head back?”

Xiao Tian shook his head with a mysterious smile, ”We’ll just wait here.”

”What do you mean?”

Xiao Tian replied, ”We’ve been followed all the way here, and now, those five guys are probably rushing here.”

”Xiao Tian, get out here!!”

Just as Xiao Tian finished speaking, a coarse voice came from outside.

This voice was a bit familiar, and looking out the window, a long Lincoln was parked in the hotel’s courtyard. Outside the car, One-Eyed Ao, who had fled by sea that day, was shouting arrogantly, presenting a picture of a henchman relying on his master’s power.

”What are you shouting about?”

The hotel security guard saw One-Eyed Ao yelling in the courtyard and walked over directly.

One-Eyed Ao’s gaze turned icy, and he directly pulled a gun from his pocket, aiming it at the sky, he pulled the trigger.

Bang.

A loud gunshot resounded, echoing around, causing the security guard to wet his pants in fear, and without another word, he fled immediately.

Upon hearing the gunshot, the people in the hotel assumed it was a terrorist attack and screams erupted. People fled for their lives out of the hotel. Soon, the entire hotel building was deserted.

A gust of wind blew past, leaves fluttering down, leaving the whole courtyard eerily silent.

Finally, under the scrutiny of those in the car, a familiar figure slowly emerged from inside the hotel.
