Chapter 148: Chapter 146: Protecting the Beautiful Master

While Zhou He was plotting against Xiao Tian, on the other side, Xiao Tian was leisurely heading back to the West City Branch with a toothpick in his mouth.

As soon as he entered the door, he stopped in his tracks, his eyes widened in astonishment, completely captivated by the sexy-dressed beauty in front of him.

Yu Ningxue glared at him and scolded, ”What are you looking at? Look any longer and I’ll blind you!”

Xiao Tian, unafraid, grinned cheekily, ”Oh, my beautiful master, you’re absolutely stunning today! Even if you did blind me, it would totally be worth it to keep looking.”

Saying this, he shamelessly leaned forward, looking as though he wanted to peer inside Yu Ningxue’s clothes.

It wasn’t that Xiao Tian had no self-control; it was just that Yu Ningxue’s outfit today was incredibly enticing!

Or rather, there was just too little of it!

Her fair, jade-like skin was fully on display, the alluring allure making Xiao Tian feel if any man could maintain his composure in front of her.

Yu Ningxue could hardly be bothered to entertain him. She pushed Xiao Tian aside, seriously saying, ”Stop fooling around here, I still have a mission to carry out. Why don’t you go play elsewhere?”

”Beautiful master, what mission is it?” Xiao Tian was relentless. He quickly hugged Yu Ningxue from behind, taking a deep breath as a faint fragrance wafted into his nostrils, stirring his heart.

The way his beautiful master was dressed, how could she be doing a mission? She must be out here trying to lead someone astray!

”Of course, it’s to catch scoundrels like you!” Yu Ningxue threw off Xiao Tian, speaking irritably, but secretly, she felt a bit strange. Somehow, she found she liked the way Xiao Tian looked at her.

After speaking, she quickly walked toward the car parked at the entrance.

Seeing this, Xiao Tian wasted no time in following her, opening the car door with a cheeky smile, ”Oh, beautiful master, are you planning a sting operation? Let me come with you – a mission this dangerous needs someone to protect you, right?”

”No way, don’t think I don’t know your intentions!” Yu Ningxue refused without hesitation.

”And what if I insist on coming?” Xiao Tian retorted, practically drooling.

”Then I just won’t go!” Yu Ningxue crossed her arms defiantly, making it clear there would be no further discussion.

”Alright!” Xiao Tian nodded with a sly smirk that he made no attempt to hide.

”What are you planning to do?” Yu Ningxue frowned, a foreboding feeling suddenly rising up inside her.

Xiao Tian didn’t waste any more words, instead opting to answer with his actions!

He swung his right arm, scooping Yu Ningxue into a bridal carry.

”Ah!” Yu Ningxue screamed, struggling frantically, ”You, you, you rascal, put me down right now!”

Xiao Tian, being obedient, let go the moment she finished speaking.

And gently placed her inside the car!

Then swiftly closed the door!

Quick as lightning, Xiao Tian darted to the driver’s seat, pulled out the policeman who was supposed to execute the mission with Yu Ningxue, and said with a good-natured grin, ”Buddy, let me take this dangerous mission on!”

”I’m not going!” Yu Ningxue’s tone was icy as she prepared to get out of the car.

Vroom—

Almost simultaneously, Xiao Tian got into the driver’s seat and slammed the gas pedal, making the car rocket forward!

”Ah!” Yu Ningxue was startled, shrieking as she steadied herself, realizing there’d be no escaping from Xiao Tian’s grip now, so she fastened her seatbelt.

Screech—

At the police station entrance, Xiao Tian abruptly braked!

”What are you doing! You’re going to scare me to death!” Yu Ningxue snapped.

Xiao Tian unbuckled his seatbelt, turned around, and looked at her earnestly, ”My beautiful master, your buttons aren’t done up right.”

”What?” Yu Ningxue was stunned for a moment, then glanced down, thinking she had buttoned up properly.

At that moment, a pair of large hands grabbed her collar!

”Ah! Xiao Tian! You bastard!” Yu Ningxue was infuriated.

This scoundrel, trying to take advantage of the situation again!

Xiao Tian didn’t mind at all. He carefully adjusted Yu Ningxue’s collar, righteously saying, ”My beautiful master, even if we’re infiltrating enemy lines, we must maintain our image. Look, your collar wasn’t properly adjusted.”

”Get lost!” Yu Ningxue’s pretty face was cold, warning Xiao Tian.

”There, all set!” Xiao Tian concentrated on adjusting it. Whether on purpose or not, his fingers frequently brushed against Yu Ningxue’s neck.

Five minutes later, he finally let go, meticulously surveying Yu Ningxue, satisfied, nodding, ”Not bad, much better now!”

Yu Ningxue, feeling helpless, realized she couldn’t handle this rascal and was too tired to argue.

”Soft and smooth,” Xiao Tian suddenly murmured.

”What did you say?” Yu Ningxue scolded coldly.

”Just speaking the truth!” Xiao Tian said, self-righteous, stepping on the gas pedal and driving off into the distance.

Ten minutes later, the car stopped near the red light district.

Yu Ningxue unbuckled her seatbelt, preparing to get off. She instructed sternly, ”I’ve already arranged everything from here on out. You just wait here for me – do not follow, or you’ll see how I deal with you!”

Having said that, she got out of the car without hesitation, heading into a seemingly unremarkable motel.

As if Xiao Tian would obediently stay in the car?

Just as Yu Ningxue entered the motel, Xiao Tian got out of the car and quietly followed her.

Soon, Xiao Tian noticed Yu Ningxue opening the door to a room inside the motel.

Immediately, a scantily-clad woman exited.

Yu Ningxue glanced around to ensure no one was watching before attempting to enter the room.

At that moment, Xiao Tian darted forward, entering ahead of her!

”You!” Yu Ningxue was startled, hurriedly closing the door, glaring at Xiao Tian, ”What are you doing here? Didn’t I tell you not to disrupt my mission?”

”I’m here to help you, of course.”

”I don’t need your help!” Yu Ningxue forcefully shoved Xiao Tian, scolding, ”Look at you, are you here to catch bad guys or to join them?”

As she spoke, Yu Ningxue hurriedly covered her mouth.

This, this, what was she saying?

If Xiao Tian was a client, wouldn’t that make her the escort?

”You, you, you! Get out of here! I don’t need your help at all!” Yu Ningxue felt utterly embarrassed, her face tinged red. She didn’t wish to tangle with Xiao Tian any longer, fearing further embarrassment.

”Are you sure?” Xiao Tian asked with a half-smile.

”I’m sure!” Yu Ningxue asserted, determined!

”Alright then, I’ll leave!” Xiao Tian nodded slightly and then left the room.

Yu Ningxue furrowed her brows, a sense of unease creeping in.

Just as she was pondering this, her face suddenly turned rigid!

”Ah!” The next second, Yu Ningxue screamed in anger.

This bastard!

This damned scoundrel!

He actually handcuffed her!
