Chapter 144: Chapter 142: Strike!

”Loser, dies!!!”

Xiao Tian’s cold words echoed through the entire hall. A chill spread!

Everyone stared blankly at Xiao Tian!

This guy... is he insane?

Zhou He looked at Xiao Tian with a half-smile:

”Challenging me to a bowling match? And daring to decide life and death with me? Interesting!”

Chen Mei laughed along and said, ”This is the first time I’ve seen someone dare to challenge Eldest Young Master Zhou at the Maple Leaf Club for a bowling match, don’t you believe it, Eldest Young Master Zhou will give you five turns and you still wouldn’t be a match.”

Not only Chen Mei, but many people nearby also gathered around after hearing Xiao Tian voluntarily challenge Zhou He. They looked at Xiao Tian with ill intentions.

”This person must be crazy? Doesn’t he know that Young Master Zhou has maintained an undefeated record against professional players before?”

”This guy probably wants to show off in front of the beauties. He just doesn’t know who he’s facing, it’s Eldest Young Master Zhou!”

”Haha, he will probably be utterly humiliated soon! Eldest Young Master Zhou is definitely going to trounce him harshly!”

”Alright, alright.” Hearing the praise from the crowd, Zhou He looked even more smug, clearly enjoying it.

He walked over casually, walked up to Xiao Tian, looked at him with disdain, and said coldly, ”Although I don’t want to bother with you country folks, but since you came to my place to provoke me today, I’m definitely going to teach you a lesson!”

”Since you just said, the loser dies. With so many people here, you can’t back down. If you lose, I won’t take your life, just cripple a leg!”

”Such arrogance must be taught a lesson.”

”Hahahaha,” Chen Mei laughed loudly, ”Eldest Young Master Zhou, you are truly kind!”

Zhou He smiled proudly and nodded. The implication in his words just now was that he was destined to win this match!

”Brother-in-law!” Seeing things not going well, Nie Tianxing hurriedly pulled on Xiao Tian’s sleeve, with a face full of worry, ”Brother-in-law, Zhou He is a known bowling expert in this area. If you compete with him, we’re sure to be at a disadvantage!”

”That’s right,” Nie Lan also nodded her cute little head vigorously.

Xiao Tian walked straight to the bowling area in the front, picked up a ball, and examined it.

Seeing Xiao Tian’s unfamiliar look, Zhou He laughed even more and picked up a ball himself. With a mocking glance, he said, ”Friend, do you need me to teach you how to play?”

Xiao Tian pointed to the electronic scoreboard above, ”There’s a scoreboard.”

”Hmph,” Zhou He snorted coldly and then looked away. He put his fingers into the ball holes, assumed a very standard posture, and gently exerted force with his right hand. The bowling ball was slowly thrown out.

Bang!

The bowling ball slid very steadily along the lane, ultimately knocking down all 10 pins precisely under everyone’s gaze.

”Handsome!”

One throw, a perfect strike.

Immediately following that were voices of flattery from the surrounding crowd.

Since the competition was based on total score, Zhou He continued to finish the remaining frames.

In the next few minutes, Zhou He obviously found his rhythm. With several consecutive strikes and occasional spares, maintaining an ultra-high standard, soon Zhou He’s score on the scoreboard was approaching 200.

And the atmosphere on the scene also started to heat up gradually.

”Young Master Zhou’s skills are truly terrifying. If you went pro, surely there would be no living for the others!”

”Truly a bowling genius, I must admit....”

Not far away, Nie Tianxing’s face also grew increasingly grim, especially as he watched the scoreboard finally reach a score of 230, he was so anxious he was almost in tears.

”It’s over, it’s over, brother-in-law’s done for now... Bowling above 200 is already at a professional level, I never thought he’d actually get 230!”

”Hmph,” Nie Lan snorted lightly, dissatisfied, ”Serves him right, who’s letting him show off?”

Ultimately, Zhou He won applause from everyone with his exceptional performance of 230 points. Especially Chen Mei, swaying coyly, her eyes seemed watery as she coquettishly approached Zhou He and said, ”Young Master Zhou, you’re really amazing.”

”In what way?” Zhou He asked with a wicked smile.

”Awesome at bowling... of course, that’s impressive too! After dealing with that guy, let’s head back, I can’t wait any longer!”

”Heh heh. I’ll have you well-tamed soon!” Zhou He smiled smugly, then looked over at Xiao Tian with a cold smile, ”So, are you sure you still want to play? If you give up now, kneel down and call me grandpa, and this will be over!”

However, Xiao Tian paid him no mind, simply asking lightly, ”Have you finished?”

Saying this, Xiao Tian picked up a bowling ball and walked to the lane. Seeing Xiao Tian completely ignoring him, Zhou He was so angry he gritted his teeth and thought angrily to himself, ”When you lose later, even if you kneel and beg me, grandpa, I will still have you crippled a leg!”

”Haha, look, that guy is about to throw the ball!”

As Xiao Tian picked up the ball, a group of people on site turned their mocking eyes on him.

Then, they saw Xiao Tian casually picking up the ball, without any standard posture, just simply tossing it forward.

The bowling ball moved very unstably and slowly on the lane, looking like a three-year-old randomly playing. Even hitting more than two pins would be considered lucky.

”Hahaha, look at him, are you sure he’s not here for a joke???”

”Hilarious!! I’m going to record this and post it online with the title ’Blind Man Bowling!!’”

Immediately, the crowd roared with laughter.

”Hehe, game over.” Seeing Xiao Tian’s throw, Zhou He’s face was even more smug.

But just at the next moment, everyone’s gaze froze.

The originally wobbling bowling ball suddenly seemed to be controlled by someone. It became extremely stable and suddenly smashed into the pins at an incredibly tricky angle.

Bang bang.

A sound echoed, and all ten pins were knocked down by Xiao Tian.

Strike!

The entire venue fell silent. Who could have imagined that such a completely random way of throwing could result in a strike?

Zhou He’s expression stiffened, and he consoled himself in his heart, ”The kid was lucky! Yes! It must have been luck!”

Xiao Tian completely disregarded the stares from the crowd. His expression was full of confidence.

Although he hadn’t played much bowling, he could calculate the position of a bullet to an exact degree without any deviation. Combined with years of martial arts experience, it’s no exaggeration to say he could knock down all the pins even with his eyes closed!

Next, Xiao Tian casually flicked the ball in his hand again. Still in that seemingly haphazard way.

Strike!
