Chapter 134: Chapter 132: Half-Baked Ideas

”Ouch!” Xiao Tian suddenly yelped, frowning, ”My shoulder seems to hurt a bit.”

”Xiao, let me give you a shoulder massage!”

Wang Meng’s wit skyrocketed, and he immediately stood up, ran behind Xiao Tian, and started massaging his shoulders.

”Wang Meng, why are you using so much force!”

”Yes, yes, a little to the left, more to the left.”

”Oh no, now my leg hurts...”

Xiao Tian kept complaining and smirking, not intentionally picking on Wang Meng, but because he found Wang Meng’s actions hilariously amusing.

”Xiao, come on, tell me what I should do...” After doing manual labor for a while, Wang Meng was about to freak out.

”Actually, it’s not that hard.” Xiao Tian waved his hand, signaling Wang Meng to return to his seat, smiling, ”Didn’t I just say that Li Ying has feelings for you? But if you want to directly confess like that, it won’t work.

If you want to win over Li Ying in one go, you need the right opportunity, and that’s what’s missing right now.”

”But where am I going to find such a good opportunity?” Wang Meng looked dejected.

”How about this?” Nie Lan said excitedly, gesturing wildly, ”Xiao Tian is right; Li Ying definitely likes you. So why don’t I find a pretty girl to flirt with you, and you act along, make Li Ying anxious, and then you’ll have your chance!”

”Get lost!” Xiao Tian pushed Nie Lan aside and yelled, ”What a lousy idea. This method might work on a brainless nutcase like you, but for a girl like Li Ying, it’s completely useless.

The worst part is, Wang Meng will definitely get nervous and mess up, and if Li Ying finds out, it’ll blow all chances.”

”Then what do you suggest!” Nie Lan rolled her eyes at Xiao Tian, dissatisfied.

Xiao Tian thought for a moment and said, ”Let’s do it like this: after dinner, I’ll leave my phone here, and in the evening, I’ll contact Li Ying, claiming I urgently need my phone. She will surely bring it to me.

Then I’ll arrange to meet her in an area full of small-time thugs. She’s quite pretty, so she’ll definitely get noticed. Then it’s simple: Wang Meng will be nearby, and at the crucial moment, he can play the hero and save the beauty, and everything will be settled!”

”No way! Absolutely not!”

This time, before Nie Lan could respond, Wang Meng firmly objected, ”Xiao, I know you’re trying to help, but what if something goes wrong and Li Ying gets hurt? Besides, isn’t this also deceitful?”

”Exactly, exactly, isn’t your idea also a deceitful scheme!” Nie Lan looked proudly at Xiao Tian.

Xiao Tian fell silent.

This time, he genuinely had a headache!

Li Ying had a cheerful personality and simple thinking, getting along with almost everyone.

But girls like that, sometimes, are the hardest to win over!

Especially with Li Ying, Xiao Tian had long figured out her personality; romantic words held no value.

The only chance was to appear when she needed it the most, to move her!

If Xiao Tian himself stepped in, there would naturally be no problem, but with someone like Wang Meng, who gets so nervous he can’t even speak when he sees Li Ying, how could he seize the opportunity?

Specially arranged opportunities would definitely have an element of deceit, and Wang Meng wouldn’t be able to hide it, ultimately leading to problems!

Nie Lan was no different, unable to come up with a good plan in a short time either.

Meanwhile, outside the room, Li Ying was surrounded by six lecherous small-time thugs.

”What, what do you want?” Li Ying was scared and kept retreating, only to bump into a thug behind her.

”What do we want?” The leader, Xiaohuangmao, eyed Li Ying up and down, leering, ”We’re all starving, and you coming out so late means you want us to starve to death, so you must make it up to us, girl.

Just spend a few nights with us brothers, and today’s bill will be cleared. What do you say?”

As he spoke, Xiaohuangmao took the opportunity to run a finger across Li Ying’s face.

”What are you trying to do? Bullying a girl with so many people?” Li Ying panicked, a customer in the restaurant stood up and pushed one of the thugs aside to try and pull Li Ying out.

”Mind your own business?” Xiaohuangmao glared at the customer fiercely, pulling out a knife and casually playing with it.

”Idiot, if you know what’s good for you, get lost now!”

”Playing the hero will cost you dearly!”

The other thugs also pulled out knives, looking coldly at the well-meaning customer.

Seeing them armed, the customer hesitated for a moment, eventually retreating to his seat, not daring to interfere.

Other patrons in the restaurant were furious but none dared to stand up.

”If you mess around, I’ll call the police!” Li Ying tried to act calm, but her continuously trembling body betrayed her.

”Call the police?” Xiaohuangmao sneered, ”Even if you call them, we haven’t done anything to you. We’ll just take a trip to the station and come back to teach you a lesson later, so you better be obedient, girl.”

”Tsk tsk, your chest really is top-notch.” Xiaohuangmao leered, his hands clawed, slowly approaching Li Ying’s chest.

”Ah! Get away from me!”

Li Ying panicked completely, screamed, tried to run, but tripped over a chair next to her and fell to the ground.

Inside the room, Xiao Tian and the others heard Li Ying’s scream.

Xiao Tian didn’t need to think to know someone was causing trouble in the restaurant. His eyes lit up, and he shouted, ”Wang Meng, your chance is here!”

Boom!

His beloved girl being bullied, how could Wang Meng have the mood to wait for Xiao Tian’s reminder? As soon as Xiao Tian spoke, Wang Meng rushed out, shouting angrily, ”Stop it right now!”

”Oh ho!” Xiaohuangmao sneered disdainfully, ”Someone still dares to play the hero, huh? Let me tell you, I’ve crippled so many big fools like you. If you don’t want to die, get lost now!”

”Idiot, don’t you know who we are around here? You dare meddle in our affairs?”

”I advise you to go back quietly and eat, act like you didn’t see anything.”

The other thugs were equally arrogant, completely dismissing Wang Meng.

”Wang Meng, they have knives...” Li Ying whispered a reminder.

”Heh, did you see that? This girl is smarter than you, she knows we have knives!” Xiaohuangmao arrogantly waved his knife a few times.

Bam!

Wang Meng was in no mood for nonsense, immediately acted, breaking through two thugs and landing a fierce punch on Xiaohuangmao’s head, shouting, ”Damn it, even if you had a gun, you wouldn’t touch her!”

Xiaohuangmao was knocked to the ground, his head spinning, it took a while for him to recover, his face twisted with rage as he roared, ”Damn it, what are you waiting for? Get him! Kill him for me!”

”Get him, he dared hit our boss, stab him!”

”Big fool, you’re dead meat!”

”Damn it, so ungrateful, we’ll kill you today!”

Suddenly, the five surrounding thugs waved their knives and charged at Wang Meng, howling.
