Chapter 102: Chapter 100: The Car God Takes the Wheel

Vroom! Vroom! Vroom!

On a certain highway in Qinghai, the wild roar of engines echoed one after another.

The next second, a blue modified race car roared past!

Additionally, five other modified race cars were closely following!

The speed was so intense, it created a powerful impact that made the surrounding trees sway in the wind, rustling noisily.

Inside the blue race car.

Shen Guanyu gripped the steering wheel tightly, his eyes fixed firmly on the road ahead, smirking to himself, ”Xiao Tian, come on, let me see just how good your driving skills are, or rather... let me shatter your confidence.”

When he got the call, Shen Guanyu happened to be not far from the highway exit and immediately drove to intercept Xiao Tian.

A right turn at the upcoming intersection was the only road leading to the highway.

There was no doubt, Xiao Tian would definitely pass here.

Vroom!

The engine roared, Shen Guanyu slammed down the accelerator, and the blue race car sped up abruptly, reaching the intersection in less than two seconds.

The next second, Shen Guanyu’s eyes lit up.

Because, on the left of the intersection, he saw a black Audi A8.

It was indeed the one Xiao Tian was driving!

Screech—

Shen Guanyu’s car rushed to the center of the intersection, then slammed on the brakes, intending to intercept the Audi A8.

At the same time, the five cars behind also caught up!

Screech— Screech—

The five race cars simultaneously braked, drifted, and formed a line with Shen Guanyu’s blue race car, completely blocking the road.

Inside the Audi A8.

”Damn!” Xiao Tian couldn’t help but curse, thinking how these street racers were like an unending nuisance, popping up to cause trouble even now.

If it were an ordinary day, he would certainly teach Shen Guanyu and his gang a tough lesson.

Today, however, Xiao Tian didn’t have time to mess around; he had to get back to Shanghai as fast as possible, wasting even a second could have fatal consequences.

”Since you all want to play, let’s make it thrilling.” Xiao Tian muttered coldly to himself.

The intersection was blocked, yet he didn’t change direction nor did he reduce speed, instead, he accelerated, charging straight ahead.

”Holy!”

Inside the blue race car, Shen Guanyu was startled, quickly starting the car, making a U-turn, accelerating forward, and simultaneously giving way to the Audi A8.

Whoosh—

The next second, the Audi A8 brushed past the blue race car, causing it to shake violently twice.

”Damn it!” Shen Guanyu frowned, a fiery rage igniting in his eyes!

At that life-and-death moment just now, even his heart was racing and he broke out in a cold sweat.

This Xiao Tian was courting death!

With such high speed, he actually intended to charge through without slowing down; if they collided, Shen Guanyu would certainly be wrecked, of course, he had to avoid it, after all, he came this time for fun, not to die!

Vroom!

Angered, Shen Guanyu slammed the accelerator, and the blue race car instantly accelerated.

The Car God of Qinghai was indeed not to be underestimated.

In less than three seconds, Shen Guanyu caught up with the Audi A8, driving side by side!

Of course, Xiao Tian had slightly slowed down at the last moment.

At such high speed, if they collided, Shen Guanyu would be wrecked, and Xiao Tian wouldn’t fare any better.

He needed to return to douse the fire, he couldn’t afford to get into a petty squabble on the road, if Shen Guanyu didn’t dodge, he had no choice but to evade, hence he had to keep the speed within a controllable range.

Vroom! Vroom! Vroom!

The roar of engines was incessant, and Shen Guanyu’s five underlings also caught up!

”Hey!” A street racer’s head poked out from the car window, flipping the bird at the Audi A8, then taking out a megaphone, shouted arrogantly, ”The fool driving the Audi A8 ahead, stop immediately, then kneel and admit defeat.

Your opponent is our brother Shen Guanyu, the Car God of Qinghai, his driving skills are unbeatable, you are simply not his match!”

”Exactly, stop quickly, kneel and admit defeat, or your car will end up a wreck, and you’ll be squatting there crying.”

”Kid, you’re about to witness what real driving skills are!”

The other street racers also took out megaphones, shouting loudly.

They were wildly arrogant, dismissing Xiao Tian entirely, even acting on Zhang Yi’s instructions, frantically provoking Xiao Tian.

Such a large commotion caused private cars on the opposite lane to slow down one after another.

On the sidewalks on both sides of the road, many pedestrians stopped, looking on in astonishment.

”My God, it’s Shen Guanyu, Shen Guanyu is actually street racing!”

”It really is Shen Guanyu, the Car God of Qinghai, I’ve seen his race, that blue race car is definitely his!”

”Who’s in the Audi A8? Such guts, daring to race against Shen Guanyu.”

”That guy is bound to lose, he might even wreck the car.”

Shen Guanyu’s reputation in Qinghai was indeed too loud, unlike Zhang Yi, he always appeared in a positive image to the public, admired by many, and even, a few young ladies on the roadside screamed aloud.

No one believed that Xiao Tian could be a match for Shen Guanyu, the Car God of Qinghai.

At this moment, Xiao Tian, extremely anxious, had no mind to care about others’ thoughts, seeing Shen Guanyu catch up, he immediately floored the gas pedal to accelerate!

Shen Guanyu was relentless in pursuit!

Getting noticed by more and more onlookers roused his competitive spirit, making him determined to ensure Xiao Tian suffers a humiliating defeat.

If he lost, where would the face of Qinghai’s Car God go?

It had to be said, Shen Guanyu’s driving skills were exceedingly superb, and a lot of effort was put into modifying his race car, a few seconds later, he managed to catch up with the Audi A8 again, even slightly overtaking it.

”Car God Shen Guanyu! Go! Go, Qinghai Car God!”

”Go Shen Guanyu! Shen Guanyu I love you!”

”Shen Guanyu is about to win, overtake him, overtake that Audi A8!”

The crowd exploded!

Especially those young ladies infatuated with Shen Guanyu, their eyes sparkled like stars, incessantly screaming.

”Kid, you’re no match for Yu, just admit defeat!”

”Kneel and admit defeat, challenging our Qinghai Car God is simply courting death!”

”Trash, if you don’t concede, your car will be trashed!”

The five street racers behind had already been left far behind, yet still they held up megaphones, taunting madly!

Inside the Audi A8.

Xiao Tian frowned, muttering to himself, ”A bunch of flies, this stalemate isn’t a solution.”

His car was decent, but in terms of racing capabilities, it was a lot inferior to Shen Guanyu’s, considering he was a professional, especially on such straight roads, it was hard to completely pull away!

Inside the blue race car.

”This kid, he’s really persistent!” Shen Guanyu gritted his teeth, feeling aggrieved.

At this point, his race car had slightly overtaken the Audi A8, yet to him, this was no glorious feat, even feeling that for a professional race car against a private car, only leading by this much was too embarrassing!

”Looks like I need to use some special methods!” A cold gleam flashed in Shen Guanyu’s eyes.

The next second, his eyes narrowed intently.

”Now’s the time!”

Shen Guanyu gritted his teeth, suddenly swinging the steering wheel, aiming to crash into the Audi A8’s front end!
