Venerated Venomous Consort

Duan Muyan also looked over as well. While they were distracted, Yan Chen suddenly rushed forward and grabbed the princess’s wrist; in a second, he had pulled her into his arms and out of Duan Muyan’s grasps.

“Who’s there?”

“Gosh! Is this place haunted!?”

Although everyone could not see Yan Chen, they were able to see that their princess was pulled away. Duan Muyan could not see Yan Chen, but he launched an attack toward her back.

Given that Duan Muyan was obviously very skilled, Yan Chen’s arm was badly hurt and felt as though it was broken. Despite the pain, he was still holding the princess tightly and did not let go. He knew that he could not use his spiritual power. Otherwise, he would be exposed.

It would undoubtedly be a suicidal action because the officers had already taken out their guns. With him still invisible, they were afraid of accidentally injuring the princess, so they did not dare to shoot. Thinking on their feet, they decided to take out their infrared devices to try and locate their seemingly invisible target.

Without any delay, Yan Chen carried the princess and ran away. He had forgotten about the Lan Waihu, who was initially with him.

The group watched as their princess was rushed out the door with her feet definitely off the ground. All they could do was to yell while they chased after her. Moments after they emerged from the restaurant, there was a loud sound coming from the direction of the hangar. Huge flames were visible, and smoke could be seen rising into the air.

The officers’ facial expressions had changed. They knew the building that was on fire was the place where they kept all their warships. What happened!? Before they could think of anything, a bright red firework rose from that direction, and a sharp alarm sound could be heard as well.

To the people from the Blue Fox planet valued those warships as much as their own lives. The warships were their most advanced weapons. Naturally, they could afford to lose them. Therefore, they did not have time to chase the princess. Instead, they rushed toward the hangar at once.

The entire base of the Blue Fox clan was in a state of chaos. All the soldiers were running around the building, trying to fix the situation! Meanwhile, Yan Chen was carrying the princess and running wildly. At that moment, his mind went completely blank. There was only one thought in his heart; he needed to rescue the princess and get her out of this place!

Fortunately, even though he was clearly out of his mind, his natural instincts were to take cautious steps. Therefore, he naturally chose the route with the fewest people. In fact, he did not encounter any other soldiers on his way to the entrance to the clan. He had reached there very swiftly since there were no obstructions in his path.

The base of the Blue Fox clan was difficult to enter but easy to exit. Therefore, it was not a challenging task for him to escape. A quarter of an hour later, he had already brought the princess into a vast jungle in the mountains. There were very few pedestrians in the area due to the large number of wild beasts that were present. Presently, a large number of wild rabbits were in the vicinity.

Instinctively, Yan Chen looked for a quiet place where he could rest. Soon, he found himself standing still under a cliff and could only hear the sound of running water as well as the wind blowing through the treetops.

Having finally escaped the frantic state that he was in, Yan Chen suddenly realized that he did not bring Lan Waihu out with him. He had left her in the base.

“Ouhhh!” The princess in his arms was dizzy due to the bumpy journey that they had. She vomited on him profusely.

Yan Chen remained silent. He was actually obsessed with cleanliness, so his body was usually dust-free. At this moment, he had vomit all over him. The wine that the princess drank earlier, as well as some undigested food, dripped down his chest. The smell was unpleasant.
