Reborn As Noble

Chapter 1020: Behind the Tree ( 1020 )

Javier smiled toward Erisa. ”Thank you, Erisa. Let Mother know I’ll join them shortly.”

”As you wish.” Erisa offered a polite bow. ”I will take my leave now, Prince Javier. If you’ll excuse me.” Erisa smiled and bowed politely before walking away gracefully.

Liana shot a glare toward Javier, but he simply smiled and took her hand.

”Let’s go, Liana,” he said warmly. ”I can’t wait to taste the hydra meat once you cook it, especially with your special sauce.”

Liana smiled, her irritation melting away as she let Javier lead her by the hand.

”Young master, where are we going?”

Javier glanced back, still walking. ”I need my morning kiss, and I’m not doing that in front of an audience.”

”Naughty~”

He grinned and pulled her gently toward his personal workshop and the pekko pen, Buddy trotting smugly behind them.

”But young master, your mother is calling for you,” Liana reminded him softly.

”Mm... I know,” he replied, still guiding her along. ”Kiss first.”

”I don’t know if Gloria is pouting over being left out.” Liana chuckled under her breath as they walked.

Javier smiled and looked over at her. ”By the way, Liana...”

”Yes, young master?” she replied, her expression graceful as she let him lead her along.

”You look beautiful in that dress. Is that an elven style?”

”Mm, yes. It’s an elven bridesmaid’s gown. Lady Francesca asked Gloria, Lithia, Harny, and me to stand as Queen Mylezra’s attendants.”

Javier chuckled softly. ”I wonder how Gloria looks in hers.”

They both arrived at Javier’s personal workshop.

”Alright, Buddy. Go to Pikko and the others. I’m busy here.”

”Cuquawked!” Buddy tilted his head, beak curved in a clear smirk, before strutting smugly toward the other pekkos.

Javier pulled Liana behind a large tree, pressing her gently against the trunk as he leaned in.

Liana smiled and slowly parted her lips as their mouths met in a slow, deep, passionate kiss. She felt his hand begin to roam, their embrace tightening as the kiss deepened.

He finally pulled back, resting his forehead against hers, breath warm. ”We should go inside the workshop and... continue.”

”Young master,” she whispered, a playful smile on her lips. ”Your mother is waiting for you at the table. Do you really think we have time for that?”

Before he could answer, a voice cut in from the side, smooth and amused.

”Ara~ Leaving me out and planning to make little ones inside your personal workshop, young master~? Hmm?”

Javier glanced to the side and saw Gloria already crossing her arms, lips pouted.

”Ah... Gloria,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck with a sheepish smile.

Gloria shifted her glare to Liana. ”Mou, Liana. You shouldn’t leave me out like this.”

Liana let out a soft laugh and tilted her head. ”Ask our future husband. He’s the one who pulled me here.”

”And you clearly didn’t resist,” Gloria huffed, looking up at Javier. ”Now I want my kiss too.”

Javier smiled, leaning down to meet Gloria in a slow, tender kiss.

Liana moved closer and wrapped her arms around his other side, resting her head against his shoulder.

”I love you, young master,” she whispered softly.

After pulling back from the kiss, Gloria glanced over to see Liana already leaning against Javier’s shoulder, hugging him from the side.

”Mou, Liana! I’m still kissing him and you’re already hugging him. Don’t steal my moment!”

Liana just chuckled, glancing at her with a soft smile. ”No~ He’s my husband too. Besides, I’m the first wife~”

”Hmph!” Gloria leaned in closer, wrapping her arms around Javier from the other side and resting her cheek against his shoulder. ”He’s my husband too~”

Javier was wearing a faint, flustered smile, feeling their chests pressing against him from both sides.

He swallowed hard and glanced toward both of them.

”Err... I’m still a normal guy, you know. If you keep this up, I don’t think I can hold back much longer.”

Liana and Gloria both looked up, their cheeks still resting against his shoulders, smiles playing on their lips.

”You can handle both of us, can’t you~?” Gloria teased softly.

Javier shook his head, leaning down to kiss each of them on the forehead, first Liana, then Gloria.

”Not yet,” he said, voice gentle. ”By the way, Gloria.”

”Hmm?”

”How did you know I was here?”

”Oh? I saw Liana being pulled away earlier. Your mother asked me to fetch you myself.”

”Ah... right.”

”So~” Gloria whispered, her finger tracing his chin lightly. ”How about you taste us first~”

Javier chuckled. ”I don’t think we can. Not right now.”

”Why~” she pouted, her voice playful. ”Is it because you want Liana first and you’re trying to leave me out again~?”

”No,” he said gently. ”It’s just that... if my mother sent you to fetch me and I don’t show, she’ll send someone else. And they’ll all know exactly what I’ve been up to in my workshop.”

Liana straightened up and began smoothing Javier’s tunic, then lightly slapped Gloria’s hand away.

”Ouch!” Gloria pulled back, pouting. ”Mou, Liana!”

”Enough, Gloria. Control yourself. The wedding celebration is still going on.”

”Hmph! If I hadn’t shown up, you two would’ve been busy in there already.” Gloria huffed, brushing imaginary dust from Javier’s shoulder. ”Besides, our husband here already claimed us both~ and he’s left us waiting long enough~”

Liana sighed softly. ”We’ll each get our turn once the schedule starts.”

”You know, young master,” Gloria whispered, her tone low and teasing. ”You shouldn’t keep us waiting much longer. Who knows what might happen if you leave us wanting like this.”

Javier shook his head, still smiling.

Liana exhaled softly. ”If you want to give up your slot, go ahead.”

”Mou!! Liana!! I didn’t mean it like that!” Gloria huffed, leaning her cheek back against his shoulder as she glanced up at him. ”There’s no way I’m going to leave our handsome husband here~ What I meant is... we might be the ones who ’attack’ you at night~”

Javier chuckled. ”Alright, alright. Just one more week, and you’ll both have your scheduled time with me. Now let’s go...I’m sure if we stay any longer, my mother will send another maid to call me.”

”Yes, young master.” Liana gave Gloria’s hand a light tap. ”Now let’s go.”
