Reborn As Noble

Chapter 1002: Never Abandon You ( 1002 )

Javier smiled, letting his gaze rest on each of them in turn.

I’m so lucky to have them. Every one of them is special. Each in her own way.

His eyes lingered on Liana and Gloria, who now stood with their arms crossed beneath their chests. A subtle, knowing pose that highlighted their curves. Gloria, as always, had the advantage in size, a fact she carried with quiet, effortless pride.

Felicia fidgeted, her usual princess-like composure softened into something shy and endearing.

She’s so serious on the outside, all rules and decorum... but seeing her flustered like this, shy like this... I feel special. Seeing a side of her she never shows anyone else.

Mimi radiated cheerful energy and open affection, her playful ”Nya!”s and swaying tail as much a part of her as her smile.

Javier felt Delya’s warm hug and her dreamy, contented sigh as she nestled against his chest.

He looked at them all once more, his heart full.

”Let’s all head to our room,” he said softly. ”I’m tired.”

Liana and Gloria exchanged a glance. Felicia’s eyes flickered toward him, and Mimi’s ears perked up with excitement.

For a moment, they just looked at him, taking in how handsome he was beneath the gentle glow of the moonlight.

Liana and Gloria smiled softly, sharing a look of quiet understanding.

Felicia nodded, a gentle blush still coloring her cheeks. Meanwhile, Mimi was still trying to peel Delya away from Javier.

”Nya! Get off Husband-sama!!”

Delya shook her head and buried her face deeper into Javier’s chest. ”No~ Danna-sama is mine~”

She glanced up, her eyes wide and hopeful as she met Javier’s gaze.

”Danna-sama~ I want a romantic moment like you had with Liana, too...”

Javier chuckled softly and gently caressed her head.

”Mm... don’t worry. Everyone will get the same treatment. Because everyone is special to me.”

Liana just shook her head with a fond sigh, then clapped her hands to gather everyone’s attention.

”Everyone will have their turn, starting after Prince Aelius and Princess Athine’s wedding is done. As we discussed back in Arjam, each of you will have your day. During that time, you can have our husband for anything.” She paused, her tone shifting gently. ”Now, let’s head back. Young Master is tired.”

Gloria adjusted her glasses with a sly smile. ”Ara~ I already have plans for my turn. But do tell me, Liana~ You have two days a week, I have one, Felicia one, Delya one, and Mimi one... What about the extra day? Hmm?”

Liana glanced at them, her expression serene. ”That will be our day together, all of us with young master.”

”Ehh?” Javier’s eyes widened. ”What about my rest day?”

All five girls turned to look at him in unison.

”No,” Liana said smoothly, though her eyes held a spark of mischief. ”You won’t get a ’rest day.’ You chose this harem yourself.”

Javier let out a dramatic sigh. ”Come on, at least give me one day to play with Buddy or something...”

”No can do, Young Master,” Gloria chimed in, her tone sweet but firm. ”You can play with Buddy every morning.”

Liana only smiled. ”The rest of your time belongs to us.”

The day of the Garius wedding.

Javier was still asleep, nuzzling his face contentedly into the soft thigh he was using as a pillow.

Hehehe... Liana’s thigh is so soft. I love it.

He shifted, murmuring sleepily. ”Mm~ Liana... I love my new pillow~”

He breathed in deeply, inhaling a sweet, natural scent, flowery, warm, and familiar.

Meanwhile, a gentle hand was stroking his hair in slow, soothing circles.

”Ara~ My little honey bun is being naughty in the morning~”

Javier, still pressing his face into the thigh, slowly stirred.

Hmm? Isn’t this voice...?

He turned his body and blinked blearily upward.

”A...ah!!! Esteemed Mother!!!”

Javier was about to sit up when Francesca grabbed his head and gently buried his face against her chest.

”Mmmp, mmph!!!!!”

Francesca smiled, continuing to stroke his hair in a soft voice. ”It’s been so long since Mama’s held you like this~ I still remember when you were just a little boy~ you really loved doing this.”

Javier wriggled his face free, gasping for breath.

”M...Mother!! I was nearly choked to death!!”

Francesca’s expression shifted instantly to feigned shock. Her eyes widened as a delicate hand flew to her lips, her shoulders slumping in theatrical sorrow. A soft, trembling sigh escaped her.

”My honey bun... no longer loves me,” she sniffed, her voice quivering with exaggerated heartbreak. ”He doesn’t want to snuggle with me, doesn’t want to hug me, doesn’t even want to be near me... anymore...”

She turned her face slightly away, dabbing at the corner of her eyes with her sleeve and emitting a tiny, pitiful sob.

”Perhaps... it’s because I’m old now~”

”W...wha! I didn’t mean it like that!!” Javier stammered, watching his mother dab the corner of her eye delicately with her sleeve.

”I know... It’s because my honey bun thinks he’s all grown up now. Maybe he’s embarrassed to be near his own mother... Because I’m not beautiful anymore... sob sob...”

”M...Mother...” Javier sighed, his resolve crumbling. He slowly moved closer and wrapped his arms around her.

Francesca pretended to push him away, turning her head aside with a dramatic sniff.

”No! You no longer love your mother. Now that you have your harem, you don’t care about me anymore... Even your father is marrying another girl... sob sob~ Ah~ I wonder... when I grow old and have to walk with a stick, I’m sure my own son will just leave me in the forest~”

Javier panicked and hugged Francesca tightly, burying his face in her shoulder.

”No! I would never do that!”

Francesca smiled, a soft, triumphant curl of her lips that Javier couldn’t see.

”Ah~ I’m sure all my sons will be busy with their wives... Marcellus with Lithia and Harny, Cedric with Meira and Zania... your father busy with his work and his new bride... sob sob... and now even my youngest son doesn’t want to snuggle with me anymore...”

”No... I’m not like that, Mother. Trust me... please don’t cry. Please... I love you.”

”Really?”

”Mm... yes. I’ll never abandon you.”

”Tehe~”

Francesca turned to face him, her eyes bright, dry, and sparkling with amusement.

”M...MOTHER!!!”

Francesca planted a quick, loving kiss on Javier’s lips, then gently cupped his cheek.

”My honey bun~” she smiled, her eyes soft as she gazed at him.

Javier turned his face away, a faint blush touching his cheeks.

Francesca chuckled softly and drew him close, pressing his head against her chest before kissing the top of his head.

”Don’t ever forget about your beautiful mother, okay?”

”Mm... I won’t, Mother.”
