His Beloved Treasure

Chapter 2411: Chapter 687: Returned (5) Second Update! (5)

Qin Mu glanced over, looked at him doubtfully, then nodded: ”Okay!”

It’s better he doesn’t go; otherwise, she really doesn’t know how to explain to Grandfather.

She lowered her head and was led into the private room she had booked with Grandfather by the service staff. Within a few minutes, Grandfather arrived too, and upon entering, he saw his grandson, Mu Yichen, who naturally also saw him, but chose not to make eye contact.

The elderly man snorted, and, taking large strides, followed them into the room. Mu Yichen ordered a pot of tea for himself, sat there flipping through the newspaper, sipping lightly.

Grandfather said: ”You don’t need to worry about me. I just hope for you and that young boy to be well together, Xiaomu, do you understand the intentions behind Grandfather’s efforts?”

Grandfather said: ”You two have been tormenting each other like this for so many years. Is it really more comfortable than living life well together?”

Grandfather said: ”Xiaomu, Grandfather hopes that in his lifetime, he can still see you two sweetly together, hmm?”

That night, Qin Mu couldn’t sleep!

They all told her to live well with Mu Yichen, but she suddenly couldn’t remember what it was like when they were doing well together.

The next morning she felt weak, her period came two days early.

”Mom, what is a period? Why can’t I see her? Why do you say she came and you feel unwell?”

Huanhuan was kneeling at her bedside, which she thought was the most comfortable posture, asking her own doubts.

”A period isn’t a person; it’s just something girls have when they grow up. Some girls feel unwell when it comes, but the ones in good health don’t.”

Qin Mu thought for a moment, trying to organize her words to explain to Huanhuan.

”Oh! Then my body is in good health, so I definitely won’t, right? Mom, what is this thing anyway, why can’t I see anything?”

Huanhuan asked again, although her mind wasn’t completely ignorant, she needed someone to give her a clear answer.

”Blood! Once you grow up, you’ll understand, girls bleed from where they use the bathroom for a few days each month.”

”Ah? Then, I don’t want to bleed, would I die? ”

Huanhuan was a little overly nervous.

”All girls go through this growing up, you won’t die; instead, you’ll be healthier and prettier.”

Qin Mu felt a bit speechless, but still patiently explained, thinking internally that maybe she should give Huanhuan a proper biology lesson?

”So scary!”

Huanhuan’s eyes were still wide open, she still felt scared.

”Mu Chenghuan, Dad is calling you downstairs, it’s time for school!”

Chengcheng ran upstairs, somewhat impatient, his sister hadn’t come downstairs on her own yet.

”Oh! Coming!”

Huanhuan got up, agreed with her brother, then turned to look at her mother: ”Then you rest well at home, I’ll come back to keep you company tonight!”

Before leaving, she didn’t forget to give Qin Mu a kiss on the forehead, a loving kiss, quickly running off.

Qin Mu suddenly laughed; was this girl just trying to comfort her?

It seems she actually felt comforted, and her body didn’t feel as uncomfortable as earlier.

——

On the way to send the siblings to school, Mu Yichen received a call from Mu Zihao, who said on the phone: ”Your mom wants to take the siblings back to stay overnight, tonight you and Qin Mu can...”

”It’s not convenient recently, if there’s nothing else, I’ll hang up now!”

Mu Yichen replied flatly, hanging up the call.

The siblings sitting in the back were both a little puzzled at the person driving.

”Dad, that sounded like Grandpa, are we going to stay at Grandpa’s house tonight?”

Huanhuan, curious, craned her neck to ask him.

”No, after school, don’t go with anyone except me!”

Mu Yichen instructed her.

”What about Grandpa and Grandma?”

Chengcheng raised his eyes, sensing the problem might be serious.

”Except me, no one!”

Mu Yichen repeated.

The siblings mumbled a response: ”Okay!”
