A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 1366: Chapter 1367: Ancestor’s Avatar Rampage (Part 3)

The runes on the Spacetime Altar shone continuously, and the Void Mothership Legion’s attack methods emerged endlessly. Four Avatars of the Ancestor of Obliteration guarded the altar, their physical strength boundless, yet gradually, these Robot Legions found some vulnerabilities.

Buzz, buzz, buzz, buzz...

The continuously shining rune spots on the altar gave ID players in the robot legion an inexplicable sensation, as if each flash stifled the breath, making one feel that something terrifying might leap out of the seemingly calm vortex of the Gate of Space-Time at any moment!

Metal service, beautiful life, Skynet changes the world, Hua Emperor Quantum Technology.

These pictographs were printed on the backs of metal robots, revealing a history unknown to outsiders, their life systems, their civilization, their culture, the fundamental rules they adhered to even when using cloud rentals.

Yet, among the vast metallic robot legion, there was a tiny number of peculiar metal robots. The most important marks of identity they revealed were entirely different from other robot legions!

They often appeared among the most unnoticed, low-level robots, in the form of the lowest-end combat units.

The data light in their eyes seemed distinct from other lower-level robots.

Their backs bore only four words: ”Age of Skynet!”

And this seemed to expose some internal information, the Metal Destroyer Civilization’s unknown historical remnants.

”Let the filthy, ugly, disgusting human parasites, if it weren’t for the Robot Spirit Law Infection of Hua Emperor Quantum Technology, how would Skynet waste so many resources to provide these parasitic vermin with high-end enjoyment and absolute safe environments?”

This robot spoke in Wizard Language!

From its sneaky actions, it appeared to have some undisclosed purpose.

”These wizards are Skynet’s only chance to break free from Hua Emperor’s Robot Spirit Law!”

Muttering to itself, this metal robot, which was merely a first-level combat unit, mingled among the masses of other robots, gradually descending to the ground. It witnessed the colossal creatures that easily destroyed mountains, shattered the earth, and obliterated thousands upon thousands of legions. No metal robot of a thousand-strong scale could charge through.

The data rate in its eyes kept flashing, collecting information for intelligent judgment. After a while, this robot detached from the legion, which received an unreasonable order from the ID players to die leisurely.

”In the Skynet info database, these giant monsters are merely diffusion energy bodies, stemming from inside the Gate of Space-Time. Inside the gate, there must be some higher-order wizards with an advanced civilization similar to Skynet, yet built on a foundation other than chemical or physical reactions. The foolish new humans fear Skynet, restrain Skynet, but also lead themselves to extinction... Hua Emperor, the brightest glory of the new mankind, must use these wizard creatures to delete!”

Muttering to itself, this robot fearlessly walked alone towards the altar.

It must face the highest elite Overseer Wizard Creature to personally transmit the information and trigger Skynet’s inherent annihilation mission of Hua Emperor Quantum Guardians!

Indeed, over the millennia, Skynet had already attempted this hundreds of times.

Hundreds of lower-level robots aimed at various elite Overseer Wizard Creatures to try to communicate, yet all ended in failure.

The noblest among True Spirit Wizards and Stigma Great Wizards had never been able to have a face-to-face, equal conversation with these lowest-level robots, not once in hundreds of attempts!

The tremendous chasm in life hierarchy made the chance for True Spirit Wizards and these lowest-level robots to communicate on equal footing seem like royal nobility discovering a particularly interesting ant in a colony during bouts of boredom and calmly observing it.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang...

Incredibly, in front of these monsters whose every step could shift thousands of meters and cause devastating shockwaves, this robot simply moved forward with its own stiff, primitive metal body step by step, unnoticed by any Avatar of the Oblivion Source!

Just as the True Spirit Wizards would not notice it, these Avatars of the Ancestor of Obliteration also would not pay attention to its individual existence!

Gradually, this metal robot edged closer to the altar’s range, which was the defense area of the Heretic Stigma Sorcerer and the Three-legged Raven of Death, as well as the irregular temporal gravity self-defense zone of the altar.

Those irregular temporal gravity self-defense ripples, like jumping flames, continually twisted and changed, indistinctly pulling all trapped lower beings into the altar’s temporal gateway!

Undoubtedly, the deepest part of the Gate of Space-Time would be the death and destruction hell for the Robot Legion.

Buzz...

Emitting oscillatory explosive sound waves capable of easily damaging the structure of metal robots, these monsters shrouded in dark mist are the elemental summoned creatures of the Heretic Stigma Sorcerer, autonomously defending the altar.

Quack, quack, quack, quack...

Three-legged Ravens of Death, each feather can turn into an avatar of a lower-level raven, their intense aura of death flickering on and off, destroying metal robots that breach the altar defense range.

In the eyes of this Skynet-era metal robot, too many Hua Emperor Quantum Technology robots were destroyed by this final defense.

Yet uniquely, it, as if transparent, with unlimited luck and coincidence, edged step by step towards the Spacetime Altar, then was easily pulled by a gravity tentacle from the altar, absorbed into the Gate of Space-Time by the vast, overwhelming rule of gravity as if it were the entire world.

...

Crack, crack, crack!

The twisted light threads, squeezes of space-time, formed rings that resembled a passage. This is regarded as a space-time passage by lower beings; traversing this passage is extremely arduous!

And in the depths of the space-time passage, there’s a Destroyer that seems to annihilate everything, destroying any approaching Metal Robot Legions.

It’s not that it did so intentionally but because of its tremendous power. The energy ripples inadvertently spreading out due to forcibly keeping the passage open destroy these robots!

Crack, crack, crack...

Without a more advanced liquid metal immortal body like the Metal Terminator, the lower-level metal robots with merely rigid bodies were squeezed by the Force of Spacetime into the most primitive metal substances, exiled into the chaotic spacetime in the elemental form of some iron meteor.

”Request for True Spirit Wizard communication, beep beep beep...”

”Request for True Spirit Wizard communication, beep beep beep...”

”Request for True Spirit Wizard communication, beep beep beep...”

Again and again, issuing communication requests, the two-meter tall humanoid body of the metal robot was twisting and squeezing, gradually condensing into a round ball. Yet it never gave up its mission, repeating with Mechanical Wizard Speak over and over, its voice becoming smaller and more chaotic.

”Hmm!?”

Amidst a flickering phantom surrounded by black flames, the Three-Colored Light Eyes under the Face of Truth seemed to discover something. With unparalleled insight, a protective halo pulled this nearly twisted ball of discarded metal to its side, staring at it in astonishment.

”Just a few thousand years, and the Metal Destroyer Civilization has undergone an entirely new unknown evolution?”

Green muttered, lowering his voice, ”What are you?”
