A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 1353: Chapter 1354: Temporal Arc

As someone who personally experienced the Balance Rules’ will embodiment within the Dimensional Esophagus, Green knows all too well the challenges and terrors of such an embodiment appearing.

The will of the rules is the vastest, most fundamental rules that span the Endless World, serving as the foundational structure of the Endless World.

However, the will chasing the manifestation of the Primordial Dark Saint Ancestor at this moment was not the Balance Rules’ will that Green encountered. From its attributes... this is the Time Rules’ will!

It appears that during the Dark Portal’s ongoing manifestation process, after penetrating deeper layers of illusion, the Primordial Dark Saint Ancestor touched upon the Time Rules’ will amidst the absurdity.

Just as in the Dimensional Esophagus, ”Grimm’s Fairy Tales” serves as the condition for summoning the will of the rules.

The appearance of these rules’ will undoubtedly only occurs in deep illusions and has its own triggering conditions.

”Primordial Saint Ancestor!”

”Primordial, what is that?”

”That thing below...”

The Infernal Soul Myriad Heads Bird, Dark Rose, Dark Giant Bee, and Double-Tail Goldfish were swept into the vast body of the Primordial Dark Saint Ancestor, feeling the boundless origin within. Within the Infernal Soul Myriad Head Bird Elemental True Form, Green couldn’t help but hold his breath, attempting to disguise himself as a Dark Creature with Source of Oblivion while concealing it with the outermost Source of Darkness.

Even the immense body of the Primordial Dark Saint Ancestor here is just a part of its complete form!

Though it hasn’t become like the World Tree, integrating itself entirely into the Great Dark World makes it unable to leave.

The range of movement is restricted and can only be expanded through the continuous expansion of the Great Dark World and the Dark Portal. It is clear how crucial the Dark Portal is for it!

”That thing is the will of time, the most fundamental rules of the Endless World. Every movement of energy and material in the Endless World is inseparable from the Time Rules. It is the strength supporting the Endless World’s operation and change. Without it, all existence would be mere static displays, and the diverse colors of the Endless World would lose their meaning.”

Amidst the vast and expansive dark fog, a white candle appeared, seemingly insignificant, with nothing more than a black flame flickering atop it.

Greatness begins from insignificance.

”Over the years, we have used the Dark Portal to traverse time and space, stealing too much time for your hyperdimensional training. And now, it is punishing the Dark Portal, reclaiming all the time within it, freezing the entire Dark Portal, and solidifying the Great Dark World in eternity, puff puff puff puff puff...”

The bizarre laughter was akin to that of an asthmatic who couldn’t catch their breath, as the Primordial Dark Saint Ancestor’s candle flame stretched into a long strand of light, swaying side to side to form a sinister smile’s ghost face shadow.

Initially worried that the Primordial Dark Saint Ancestor might recognize him, Green realized the Primordial Dark Saint Ancestor didn’t even notice him. From its form, Green sensed boundless ambition and an incredibly dense Dimensional Esophagus Aura!

Gradually, as everyone escaped at different speeds, the Dark Rose noticeably lagged behind, falling to the back of the group.

Drip, drip, drip, drip...

Below the Dark Portal, along with the Primordial Dark Saint Ancestor’s seemingly volcanic eruption of ”boom” sounds below, a ”tick tock” sound echoed like a pendulum. Within the Infernal Soul’s Myriad Head Bird Elemental True Form, Green gave up continuing to scrutinize and analyze the Dark Portal. Beneath the Face of Truth, the three-colored light eyes turned toward the rapid ”tick tock” sound below.

”You stole more than two eons from me, let me think, how should I punish you, by exiling you to the Dimensional Esophagus Battlefield seventy-five eras in the past!”

Passing through the dense dark fog, Green glimpsed a shadow of a clock like a ribbon, distorting vision and exiling any trapped energy material into the stream of time and space!

The Dark Rose had already been thoroughly frozen, with time holding no meaning for it anymore.

Not to mention the severe damage suffered during the Holy Ancestor War, even if it were in full form, its innate life force had already dwindled significantly, so what then?

Just when it was encased by the arc of time, the petals of the Dark Rose froze, solid like ice, resembling a vivid sculpture covered in dark red coal-like rust, emanating an ominous decaying aura.

Subsequently, under the twist of the arc of time, the Dark Rose disappeared completely.

”Black Rose, was it truly exiled by the arc of time?”

Shocked, the Double-Tail Goldfish seemed unable to believe what had just transpired. Its two tails frantically swam around, the arc of time continually devoured the dark energy left behind by the Primordial Dark Saint Ancestor, ultimately solidifying it.

Crunch, crunch, crunch, crunch...

The arc of time surged across, coating the Dark Portal’s barrier with dark red rust, freezing it, consigning it to decay, exiling it within the river of time.

Gulp.

Inside the Infernal Soul Myriad Heads Bird Elemental True Form, Green swallowed.

Level Seven Creatures advancing to Eighth Grade, there are no other changes, except the Dominator Almighty Soul undergoes a transformation to become an Eternal Soul.

The exact method remains unknown, but Green knows to achieve this transformation, the most crucial condition is to undergo the baptism of time, abandon the physical shell, undergo soul transformation, and after completing the transformation to an Eternal Soul, rebuild with an Omnipotent Soul.

Level Seven Creatures advancing to Eighth Grade require utmost caution, endeavoring not to attract the attention of the arc of time’s rules, performing soul purification to seek nirvana.

Yet despite this, countless Dominators have been completely exiled by the arc of time to unknown times and spaces, disappearing without a trace, tantamount to death.

And at this moment, the Dark Dominator has brazenly provoked the arc of time!

This is no longer about stealing the eternity of the Time Rules, it’s outright robbery!

”You insignificant beings, I will make you remember, it’s not that I restricted your time and freedom, for I am time! Every breath, every heartbeat, every second of your existence’s meaning, is the greatest grace I bestow upon you; it is I who granted you everything!”

The arc of time roared, its speed suddenly increasing a notch, instantly engulfing the Infernal Soul Myriad Heads Bird, Dark Giant Bee, Double-Tail Goldfish, and a significant portion of the Primordial Dark Saint Ancestor’s body, freezing time and space.

The exit of the Dark Portal is still at some distance away.

”You’ve stolen a time and a half from me, I’ll send you back to the Great Unified Reform thirty-five thousand years ago, joining the rebellious angels who were once banished along the same lines, and those angels will slaughter any Dark Creatures!”

”No!”

The Dark Giant Bee let out a deafening roar and then ignited its Dominator Soul, breaking free from the temporal freeze. Once the dark red rust covering its body was dispelled, it soared into the sky with a ”whoosh,” rushing toward the exit of the Dark Portal.

”Primordial, your madness is leading this world cluster to destruction, I’m defecting to the Old Faction, at least we won’t be destroyed out of arrogance!”

On the other side, the Double-Tail Goldfish also received a ruling from the arc of time, igniting the Dominator Almighty Soul and rushing toward the Dark Portal exit, but saying nothing.

Finally, it was Green’s turn within the arc of time.

At this moment, Green seemed to see countless clocks, large and small, of different colors, some clear, some vague, with each allowing a glimpse of historical event backgrounds. These were the temporal transformations the Endless World had undergone, representing various time nodes!

”As for you, you who dare to steal more than five eons of time, your crime is unforgivable! I’ll send you seventy-five million years back to the frozen Sci-fi Warship Space-Time.”

Only a determined will and the internal Omnipotent Soul remained unfrozen.

As one who escaped from the Dimensional Esophagus, Green also received a ruling from the arc of time, falling under the unforgivable crime category!

Seventy-five million years ago, trapped in the frozen battleship fleet, seventy-five hundred eons ago in time?!

Green was terrified, shocked by such a vast arc of time leap. Under such a grand time arc, even the long history of the Wizard World was just an insignificant grain of sand within it.

Gradually, as dark red rust covered the surface, within the Infernal Soul Myriad Head Bird Elemental True Form, Green seemed to see an army composed of numerous grand fleets, forming a scene across a world cluster, on the brink of a world-shattering tremendous war. The entire world cluster trembled under this ocean-like fleet; the great war imminent, yet for an unknown reason time was frozen, becoming a forbidden zone for the surrounding world cluster.

The Endless World, full of wonders, yet there exist such world clusters?

”No!”

Roaring as well, however, Green did not possess the same quantity of Almighty Souls like the previous two Dominators to force a breakthrough. Instead, after invoking the Limited Almighty Soul, a black sphere appeared, floating in mid-air.

Along with an unparalleled suction force, the Infernal Soul Myriad Heads Bird was drawn inside.
