A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 1187: Chapter 1188: Guyak

Two years have passed.

Green has journeyed to various coordinate points in this world, occasionally encountering one or two eccentric World Masters, or those who have become Guardians of their respective races, similar to Green in the past.

As for the Fallen Hound, it followed Green for half a month before Green released it back to the wilderness to continue being the Fallen Hound King.

Now, of over a hundred coordinate points, Green has explored the majority, plagued by doubts and worries.

Could it be that I’m wrong?

On this day, Green, his expression growing increasingly grave, arrived at a bamboo forest; according to the calculated hundred-plus coordinate points, the next coordinate should be here.

This was a strange kind of bamboo that resembled a tower, unlike the bamboo that grows in the temperate climate of the Wizard World. Though the bamboo here also forms sections, the inside is not hollow but occupied by soft Mud Monsters as nests, though peculiar, neither the bamboo nor the Mud Monsters are worth researching, thus as a Stigma Sorcerer, Green paid no attention.

Squeak squeak squeak...

Occasionally stepping on a bamboo shoot, the juvenile Mud Monsters inside would scream shrilly, and after Green had passed, these crushed Mud Monsters would regroup and crawl away elsewhere.

After circling this bamboo forest several times, Green felt incredibly strange, unable to find the calculated coordinate point!

It was like drawing a circle, obtaining a coordinate inside the circle, yet Green was always searching around outside the circle, so no matter how he searched, he was bound to not find this precise coordinate.

It was also like a donkey cart with a piece of vegetable dangling in front; no matter how the donkey pulling the cart chased it, it could never catch the food seemingly right before its eyes.

”The wonderful rules, it seems... the secret should be here!”

The Three-Colored Light Eyes under the Green Truth Mask searched all around, confirming no valuable information, and suddenly removed the Truth Mask, revealing a face weathered with time, eyes filled with learning and wisdom, insight, and composure, epitomizing a perspective from the pinnacle of knowledge and rules.

”In this case...”

Sitting on the ground, Green gradually emptied all distractions, entering a state of meditation.

About half an hourglass later, Green jolted his eyes open, first ”swishing” open the ”Book of Truth,” merging the Forgotten Rune with the Neon Light to form Seven-Colored Runes, and under Green’s special arrangement, self-sealed his sixth sense and touch.

Green murmured ”Metamorphosis Technique,” only to see azure blue eyes representing Water Element and crimson red eyes representing Fire Element squirming beneath Green’s eyelids.

Suddenly!

With a ”pop,” Green’s two eyeballs grew limbs, scrambling out of his eyes, leaving two dark sockets emitting the black smoke of the Source of Darkness, looking extremely terrifying.

”Hehe, next time I want to be the left eye, you be the right eye!”

”I don’t want to; Green always sleeps with his right half body beneath, I won’t be underneath.”

The two eyeballs argued, falling into Green’s outstretched palm.

”Uh...”

Immediately after, Green muttered ”uh” as he spat out his tongue, squirming like a loach, following the eyeballs and falling into Green’s palm.

”Hey, Green, next time when you clean your nostrils in the morning, can you not use your pinky directly? It’s disgusting!”

Green’s nose shouted, while an ear crawling towards Green’s palm laughed ”haha”: ”He can’t hear you; if you don’t believe me, call him an idiot.”

As said, Green’s two ears fell into Green’s palm one after the other.

”Call him an idiot? Calling him that would mean calling myself an idiot, you idiot.”

...

Having lost all perception, even removing distractions, Green as a living entity formed a perceptual barrier with the Endless World, akin to self-sealing his energy isolation equilibrium, such a being could not survive within the Balance Rules of the Endless World.

”According to coordinate calculations, if compared to the current coordinates, I should retreat seven hundred twenty-five steps.”

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight...

”Squeak!”

”Ah...”

When Green completed the mental calculation, he opened his palm, and as the eyeballs, nose, tongue, and ears returned to his body, the Seven-Colored Runes sealing body perception retreated into the ”Book of Truth,” Green immediately heard strange and fearful cries from all directions.

Without perceiving any danger, Green didn’t even open his eyes but immediately put on the Truth Mask, and the Three-Colored Light Eyes slowly opened!

Everywhere were Mud Monsters in terror, seemingly possessing considerable intelligence, forming a societal group, in this area of depression surrounded by several volcanoes, yet spewing mud instead of lava, flowing endlessly like a waterfall.

The sky appeared as a twisted spatial funnel, with time and space collapsing from all directions.

These Mud Monsters, not fixed in size, fled afar, except not far from Green, a large Mud Monster holding a bamboo fishing rod, its lone eye trembling uncontrollably, gazing at Green at the pond’s center.

Beneath Green lay a clear pond’s center.

Within the pond, endless white bones, a gray sky—wasn’t that the Dimensional Esophagus in the World of Retrogressive Luminance?

”Please, don’t kill us; we’re willing to offer you everything we have!”

Holding a bamboo rod, the Mud Monster attempted willful communication in terror.

A mere First-Level Creature, Green hovered above the pond’s center, looking down coldly, and said in a deep voice: ”What are you doing here?”

”We... follow ancestral tradition, tasked with pulling lost creatures from the abyss to the Grand World, freeing them from the miserable well.”

Pulling?

Green stared at the fishing rod in the Mud Monster’s hand, in disbelief wondering, could it be that he was pulled into this black sphere by such an object?

Originally, he had even planned, should the opposite be a Dominator or an invincible force, to use the Light of Balancing Lever to connect with them, threatening with life equivalency.

At this moment, the Light of Balancing Lever had only one ability, which was regardless of how powerful or weak the enemy was, as long as balanced by the Endless World Balance Rules, once equivalent balance was formed, any harm would remain equivalent on the essential layer of life between both parties, not neutralized by any special abilities or rules.

For example, if a life equivalent to Green died, Green would thereby die completely, unable to trigger rebirth from the Nightmare Body; this is equivalent balance.

Yet now...

Green was truly incredulous; the terrifying black sphere feared in the Dimensional Esophagus, he was even prepared for five hundred years to confront its puppeteer, turned out to be these Mud Monsters!

You save lost creatures?

These Mud Monsters probably haven’t realized their predicament; they’ve only created a haven amid the despair of an Illusory World.

Suddenly, Green thought about the black sphere appearing from endless mud, seemingly reminiscent of this environment, frowning he asked: ”What do you call your ancestor?”

”Guyak.”

The Mud Monster’s answer left Green in disbelief, eyes wide; this was the relic of an ancient civilization world revered by Mickey Mouse in the Lamp of Time!
