A Sorcerer’s Journey

Chapter 1162: Chapter 1163: Observation

”What exactly are these fragile lives, able to command these high-intelligence metal robots to serve them?”

Muttering to himself, Green suddenly felt as if he was at the mouth of a giant vortex of mystery, like a dark curtain obscuring the truth and appearances. He yearned to tear it apart but couldn’t destroy it by brute force; he could only use the most delicate wisdom to gradually unveil it.

Ruins World, with countless ruins of varying sizes and scales.

In the eyes of Green, the Stigmata Sorcerer, though the design of these cities was exquisite, the process seemed obviously hurried, and their period of flourishing was relatively short. Then, a medium to high-scale war occurred here, which has been silenced for at least several eras.

”Hiss...”

While turning the scaled armor creature, which had discovered the traces of his Robe of Appearances, into a biological specimen, Green took a deep breath, his Three-Colored Light Eyes in contemplation, gazing at the high sky.

One after another, the massive Void Motherships, over two thousand meters long, were stationed above the ruins of larger ancient cities. There appeared to be about twenty or thirty scattered around.

Beyond this void, under such circumstances, there were two Trick Crystal Terminators stationed, and more than two hundred Void Mothership fleets. This made Green and the four-person Level 5 Stigmata Sorcerer Squad secretly infiltrate this world by themselves.

In the silence, after recording this information in a special Crystal Ball, Green said in a low voice, ”Perhaps I should infiltrate these Void Motherships to observe these mysterious creatures’ habits closely, and their specific relationship with the metal robots.”

Thinking this, Green once again became invisible, mysteriously vanishing from sight like a ghost.

...

The drowsy sky began to thunder, and the wind and sand intensified significantly, rendering the climate unstable and fierce.

”Warning: This is not a drill. Tramay Ancient World Zone G has severe storm conditions. The harsh climate is enough to destroy archaeological aircraft. All citizens in Zone G, please return to your mothership within 350,000 Quantum Hours!”

”Warning: This is not a drill. Tramay Ancient World Zone G has severe storm conditions. The harsh climate is enough to destroy archaeological aircraft. All citizens in Zone G, please return to your mothership within 350,000 Quantum Hours!”

”Warning: ...”

Continuously broadcasted using the amplification device of the Void Mothership, one after another, the new humans exploring and excavating in the ruins of ancient cities in Zone G hurriedly piloted their Void Motherships into the sky, where winds and clouds swirled, with sand and gravel covering the sky.

In the ruins of the ancient city, an archaeological aircraft surprisingly canceled its anti-gravity floating mode and stayed on the ground.

Wearing a tight-fitting auxiliary suit, the newcomer human, protected by a micro AT Defense Shield device at their chest where a compressed Energy Stone was located, walked out of the archaeological aircraft.

”Did the old humans who escaped from the first wormhole transport machines survive by eating them, then reproduce in this world and create Hua Emperor Quantum Technology?”

In front of this new human, a flesh and blood creature resembling an ostrich was grasped by two mechanical arms of the archaeological aircraft, unable to escape despite its struggles, emitting terrified shrieks.

”Yes, these creatures have long survived and evolved in this world, containing rich unsaturated fatty acids and detoxifying fiber tissues in their bodies. Long-term consumption can improve intestinal digestion and respiratory functions, although initial consumption may cause signs of poisoning, requiring specific antidotes for detoxification, and caution against potential parasitic tissue inside.”

Behind this newcomer human, a life service robot explained in detail, then asked, ”Would you like to try the old human’s dietary habits?”

At this moment, from overhead, due to severe interference with quantum signals, the Void Mothership had to use a loudspeaker to issue warning transmissions.

”Warning: This is not a drill. Tramay Ancient World Zone G has severe storm conditions. The harsh climate is enough to destroy archaeological aircraft. All citizens in Zone G, please return to your mothership within 350,000 Quantum Hours!”

Through the micro AT Force Shield, the newcomer human and the life service robot behind them looked up.

Filled with toxins and black sand dust, the dim sky felt like an apocalypse, violently agitated by the turbulent airflow, with only the imposing Void Motherships standing tall, emitting a few beams of soft light.

These capricious deadly storms seemed to want to devour everything in the ravaged area, attacking from the distant sky with world-ending momentum.

”Alpha, we should go back quickly.”

The life service robot, timing with quantum units, urged the newcomer human beside it, explaining, ”The devastating winds are the most terrifying natural phenomenon in this world, a hundred times more fearsome than any hurricane in the Great Universe World. Yet, it is the only hope for the survival of the creatures here. After the wind, there will be a brief storm, during which the surface of this world never stores rainwater. In this brief storm, the resilient creatures must absorb as much water as possible, thus their flesh is very tough.”

”Hearing you say that, I’m already eager to experience the old human’s cuisine. Let’s take it back and cook it in the way the old humans did!”

As he spoke, Alpha leapt into the archaeological aircraft, and with a ”click,” the transparent glass cabin door closed.

The archaeological aircraft activated, flying along with other aircraft in the ruins city towards the Void Mothership before the storm hit.

As a crystallized wisdom of the new humans, the Void Mothership could withstand even the most terrifying natural disasters of this world. The metal destroyer civilization developed by the new humans was no longer the weak biological species that nearly went extinct due to a few metal robots and rare liquid metal terminators!

Inside the mechanical cabin, the turbulent airflow driven by the storm caused some vibration in the aircraft. With the reconnection of the Skynet signal, the storm, capable of easily destroying the aircraft even from hundreds of miles away, no longer distracted Alpha in the slightest.

”Bailey, hahaha, this time I’ve made a significant discovery. I plan to research the food materials of old humans. According to old human history, without developing the Skynet Virtual World, their food culture was highly complex. This time, I’ve specially found some old human food materials, intending to share part with you via the Quantum Transmission Machine.”

On the 3D light screen, a woman showed a delighted expression.

”Alright, I’ve also discovered something interesting this time. If it weren’t for the storm...”

Returning to the cabin of the Void Mothership, Green quietly watched Alpha, the newcomer human, and the precision and complexity of the aircraft’s instruments, cautiously, like a wizard observing fragile soft-bodied creatures under a microscope with tweezers.

With technology more advanced than a wizard’s Crystal Ball, the 3D imaging light screen, his Three-Colored Light Eyes deepened in thought.
