“This creature…”

“Is this a primitive creature from the Burrow World? It’s reached the level of a Noble!”

The millions of Acraepoid warriors who were surrounding the World Gate collectively set their sights upon the Thousand-eyed Carcinus. Its terrifying appearance made many of the low-level Acraepoid squirm. Such a hideous creature did not exist in the Acraepoid World.

And Grimm, who was standing on top of the Thousand-eyed Carcinus?

He was completely ignored.

The manner in which sorcerers evolve was through the knowledge of the principle of leveraging. It allowed them to magnify their puny powers into an unimaginable scale. Therefore when most of the foreign creatures first saw the sorcerers, they were often ignored.

However, when these creatures saw the sorcerers for the second time, only a primal fear and despair ensued.

Therefore, the evolutionary path of the sorcerers was beyond the understanding of many foreign creatures and the sorcerers thought them as ‘fools’.

“Hahahaha, this creature from the Burrow World has actually come to the great Acraepoid World to give up its own soul, how very interesting. Have the lowly creatures finally felt the greatness of the Acraepoid World and come in to beg for mercy?”

After being momentarily stunned, the Acraepoid warriors who were at the frontlines laughed at the Thousand-eyed Carcinus. Their eyes were filled with greed.

Its soul was at the level of a Noble, if only they could lay their hands on it…

As the highest Noble of the Darkborne Kingdom, Sungta too after being momentarily baffled by the scene began laughing dramatically as well. Under the view of tens of thousands of other Acraepoids from his kingdom, he slowly flew a few hundred meters ahead.

The Noble of the Sungta Vassal Kingdom enjoyed a great reputation.

As if he was afraid that the lowly creature in front of him couldn’t understand the highly graceful language of the Acraepoids, Sungta drew his sword slowly and pridefully declared to the huge creature ahead of him using spiritual telepathy. “There is no use begging, the weak do not deserve compassion. Foolish creature, your soul shall be taken by the great Noble Sungta of the Acraepoid World.”

As he finished, Sungta vanished into a shadow. A flash of light spanning thousands of meters was emitted. His blade turned into more than ten meters long and was burning furiously in infernal flames. It came slashing down violently.

Bam!

The infernal power of the blade was abruptly held off by the crab’s pincer. It was a perfect parry.

“Huh?”

Sungta’s expression changed slightly. He quickly retreated a few hundred meters. An air of chill came out from his squinted eyes. He was looking at the mysterious huge creature.

It seemed to have rather high intelligence. Was it a mutation from all these years of evolution in the Burrow World?

“Hehehehe, Sungta, since your blade is so useless, I’ll take over from here!”

Sungta’s expression changed. He looked across from the corner of his eye.

The Acraepoid Noble who was laughing at him was one of the few Nobles that Sungta treated with caution around the vassal states of the Darkborne Kingdom. He too wielded a flaming long blade of infernal soul. But this time, he directly aimed it at the Thousand-eyed Carcinus.

Bam!

The pincer parried the direct pierce of the sword perfectly.

“Oh? It’s quite intelligent. It doesn’t seem to be a raw primitive creature. Too bad, you’re just a dirty Burrow World creature.”

The Acraepoid Noble whose attack was useless taunted the Thousand-eyed Carcinus with his spiritual telepathy.

But what of Grimm who was standing on top of the Thousand-eyed Carcinus?

In the eyes of the Acraepoid Nobles, he was a low-level weak creature who could barely be compared to an Acraepoid warrior. None of the Acraepoid Nobles would pay him any attention.

They only thought of the creature that was similar to the Acraepoids as a parasite on top of the Thousand-eyed Carcinus.

Grimm’s earlier eerie smile and his words spoken in the sorcerer’s language was but a low-level hum of a parasite in the ears of the Acraepoids.

“Haha, Bolonger, looks like you’ve got no chance!”

Sungta burst into laughter. The black flame on top of his head suddenly turned into a slithering snake, wrapping onto his sword. At the same time, tiny specks of light appeared on his body. His muscles expanded as if his form was about to change.

Swoosh!

Sungta’s aura was completely different from previously. In a blink of an eye, he became taller than the Thousand-eyed Carcinus while his huge Infernal Blade became thirty-meters huge. He slashed his sword at the Thousand-eyed Carcinus.

Sungta was confident in his attack this time.

This time, he must wound the strange Burrow World creature severely. He wanted the billions of Acraepoid to look on in awe, as well as the attention of the high and mighty Infernal Gods!

“Heehee, it really is a world filled with Acraepoids. Looks like the true identity of the Dark Destroyer Infernal God is also an Acraepoid like you.”

A spiritual voice came into Sungta’s soul, putting him in disbelief. Sungta looked at the creature which was similar to an Acraepoid at the top of the creature he was about to slash. He was astounded.

This creature communicated with him using spiritual telepathy?

This lowly creature actually had the advanced ability of spiritual telepathy, exclusive to the great Acraepoids!

Sungta’s disbelief turned into rage. He waved his sharp blade around. His chilling cold eyes made the decision to kill the lowly creature who dared to steal the great Acraepoid’s spiritual telepathy first.

There was a burning whisk of infernal power as he slashed at Grimm rapidly.

“It wouldn’t be too bad to have this Level-3 Acraepoid as a specimen…”

As Grimm thought about this, he revealed a sinister smile beneath his Mask of Truth. As the Thousand-eyed Carcinus reached out its pincer, there was a shockwave around Grimm’s body. A black dot was propelled outward.

The black dot turned into a long mirror as it appeared in front of Sungta.

“Seal of the Dark Realm!”

Grimm’s spiritual telepathy was cold and ruthless. In the next moment, Sungta’s image that was reflected in the Dark Mirror, which was given by the Dark Realm Stigmata Sorcerer, became distorted. The mirror appeared to have an unusual power, sucking Sungta into the mirror.

“No!”

Sungta was struggling and screaming as he was getting closer to the Dark Mirror. At the same time, his body became distorted like the image of the Dark Mirror.

“Save me, Bolonger…”

Sungta was whimpering and struggling in his final moments as half his body was sucked into the Dark Mirror.

On the other side, Bolonger, like many other Acraepoids, were shocked by this scene.

At that moment, a cloud of yellow sand converged tens of meters above Bolonger. It formed into a shape that was similar to the Acraepoid. A deep voice emerged.

“Fireblast!”

Swoosh!

A scarlet globe turned into a ray of light on top of the Sabbatical Goat Staff. The light was aimed toward Bolonger. As a famous Noble Swordsman of the empire, his reflexes were quick.

He shielded his chest with the longsword that was burning with infernal powers and screamed.

Boom!

Suddenly, a sea of scarlet fire consumed Bolonger’s body. Bolonger, who was covered by the fire was in shock.

Although the attack would not be able to wound him severely, what he couldn’t believe was that the creature that launched an attack of this magnitude was the Acraepoid-like creature that he felt pitiful about.

That…

That’s impossible, it must be a nightmare!

A Sabbatical Goat Staff suddenly appeared in the incessantly burning flames. It came knocking down violently. A high-frequency vibration transmitted at the moment the staff came into contact with Bolonger’s sword.

At the same time, the Thousand-eyed Carcinus’s many eyes converged together to project a concentrated red ray, hitting the Acraepoid in the abdomen.

Beneath the Mask of Truth, Grimm’s both eyes almost lit up. He shouted, “Negate!”

“Ah…”

At the sound of a whoosh, Bolonger’s body carried the burning flame and fell onto the grounds of the capital city of the Darksmother Kingdom.

Grimm breathed a sigh of relief underneath his Mask of Truth.

With his own strength, even with the blessing of the sorcerer tower’s mana pool, fighting a foreign Level-3 creature was pushing it. Although he launched continuous attacks, he still couldn’t wound his opponent in a material manner.

However, they were unimportant right now.

Grimm had accomplished his goals. To incite terror and to guard.

He collected the Dark Mirror that had sealed a Level-3 Acraepoid. In his pale-gray Mask of Truth as well as a Sabbatical Goat Staff in his hand, Grimm once again returned to the top of the Thousand-eyed Carcinus. He looked directly into the millions of Acraepoids, his magical power was second to none!

The Acraepoids looked on at Grimm in disbelief.

The chains of events seemed very long, but in actual fact, it only took a few breathing moments.

In these few breaths, two Acraepoid Nobles who were at the top had succumbed to the attacks of the creatures from the foreign Burrow World?

This foreign creature…

How terrifying!

Suddenly, there was a ripple at the world gate behind Grimm. A thirty-meter giant scorpion and a forty over meter bone creature’s upper half emerged. They took a look at this strange new world as they tried to crawl into the Infernal Spirit World.

Behind the two monsters was the head of a giant python that was covered in bone armor.

What followed was a hand of a lighting elemental reaching out from the other side…

The Soul Slaves were entering the Acraepoid World one by one as they stood behind Grimm and the Thousand-eyed Carcinus. They looked on at the millions of Acraepoids that lined the sky.

“These…these…”

The millions of Acraepoids that surrounded the World Gate were in shock as they looked on at the powerful Soul Slave legion that was swarming into their world.

The Soul Slaves were ferocious, fierce, and terrifying. Some of them were beyond the limits of the Acraepoids’ knowledge.

Were these the native creatures of the Burrow World?

More and more life forms swarmed into the Acraepoid World through the World Gate. Most of them were at the level of an Acraepoid Noble, and their numbers were just getting larger.
