Daily Intelligence System: Don't Kill Me, Honey!

Let’s go back and take a look.

Chen Jie heard that someone was sent from Divine Dragon Island overseas by his brother, and he was instantly anxious. He had been worried about his brother, and it turned out something really happened.

Chen Jie’s horse was fast, so he just said goodbye to Zhao Ya, and went ahead directly.

Zhao Ya was taking her own time in the carriage behind.

In this way, he rushed all the way back to his own City Lord Mansion, where Chen Jie asked Xiao Hu, where are they?

Xiao Hu said: ”In the reception hall, Zhang CuiShan from Wudang is keeping them company!”

Chen Jie was startled and spoke up: ”Zhang CuiShan? Would Fang Susu from the Divine Dragon Sect be coming?”

”Hey, big brother, you really are amazing, guessed who it was right away.”

Chen Jie smiled upon hearing this and said: ”Hehe, or else why would Zhang CuiShan be with them?”

As he spoke, Chen Jie hurried over to the reception hall, where he saw Liu Futong and Peng Yingyu who also came over after hearing the news.

At this moment, seeing Fang Susu crying, they began comforting her.

Next to Fang Susu was Zhang CuiShan from Wudang, who was very diligently keeping her company, serving tea and water to Miss Susu, looking like quite the warm man.

Chen Jie then entered the room, Fang Susu looked at Chen Jie with surprise all over his face and said: ”Miss Susu, what happened to you?”

Fang Susu wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes at this moment and looked at Chen Jie saying: ”Fourth Uncle, please save my father!”

Upon hearing this, Chen Jie was somewhat taken aback, knowing Fang Susu had never called him Fourth Uncle before, now changing to call him that indicates the situation was already out of control.

Thinking this way, Peng Yingyu then said: ”Fang, the people have almost gathered, tell us exactly what happened.”

Upon hearing this, Fang Susu wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes and said: ”Dear Uncles, my father is trapped in Siam!”

Hmm?

Upon hearing this, everyone in the room was puzzled, Siam, this was something Chen Jie and Liu Futong both remembered because back when they parted ways in the Great Capital, Fang Guozhen hurriedly received a message saying their Divine Dragon Sect’s maritime spice shipments had been detained in Siam.

So Fang Guozhen hastily departed, and after arriving at the Divine Dragon Sect, he took Fang Zheng and Vice Sect Hierarch Lei Ming with him leading five thousand cult members, directly heading to Siam to investigate the spice issue.

However, he didn’t return, only recently did Fang Susu who stayed on Divine Dragon Island receive information that Siam had undergone a coup, a group of foreign pirates was caught by Siam, upon inquiry, Fang Susu heard that the pirates raised the Green Dragon Banner.

One must know that throughout the South Sea, theirs was the only group raising the Green Dragon Banner.

Thus, Fang Susu thought something must have gone wrong in Siam, being skillful and bold, she personally led people to Siam, only to find upon approaching an island near Siam, a large number of Siamese people searching the pirates.

And Fang Susu discovered one of their former Divine Dragon Sect cult members among the crowd.

This cult member told Fang Susu that when they arrived, the King of Siam initially showed warm hospitality, saying everything was a misunderstanding, never suspecting they would poison the meals.

Many of our brothers were directly felled because of this.

However, our Sect Hierarch was very vigilant and did not partake in the banquet of the Siam King, at that time their State Preceptor appeared, unfathomably disagreeing with the Sect Hierarch, then the two began to fight, the State Preceptor was quite powerful, able to go toe-to-toe with the Sect Hierarch.

However, the Siam King unexpectedly set up a military array near the Imperial Palace, and the State Preceptor leveraged the military array’s power and continued fighting with the Sect Hierarch, but ultimately as more Siam Army gathered, the Sect Hierarch had no choice but to flee into the nearby Siamese mountains.

And to their dismay, they unexpectedly fell into the Siamese State Preceptor’s trap, becoming trapped within the mountains.

Seeing this situation, Young Sect Leader Fang Zheng and Vice Sect Hierarch Lei Ming immediately led us to break through, resulting in only a few brothers escaping, and both the Young Sect Leader and Vice Sect Hierarch Lei Ming were caught by Siamese people.

Fang Susu, upon hearing the news, wanted to gather information, but could uncover nothing, also because of her accent and skin color causing trouble for herself.

Chased by Siam’s naval forces, even to the point of having her ship sunk, eventually she was rescued by a small craft.

What she hadn’t anticipated, was this small craft had quite a background, it turned out to be a refugee boat, carrying none other than the royal descendants of Siam.

Fang Susu recognized him, having met him for they did spice business overseas, mainly supplying to Siam’s old king Ba Satong.

The Divine Dragon Sect had also promised the old king, as long as he could continuously provide a stable source of spice, they would be his supporters.

On that occasion, Fang Susu demanded to go on the trip and accompanied Fang Guozhen to meet the old king, during the feast, the old king introduced his son Zhao Facai to Fang Guozhen.

At this time, the person who saved Fang Susu at sea was indeed the old king’s son, Zhao Facai.

Through Zhao Facai’s account, Fang Susu learned of Siam’s specific situation, originally this way, the old king Ba Satong died of illness a month ago, the throne should have directly passed to his sixteen-year-old son, Zhao Facai.

No one expected that his uncle, the old king’s brother, Ba Sali would suddenly launch a coup and seize the throne of Siam.

Additionally, detaining all the spice trade contracts signed by the old king, as well as Zhao Facai himself.
