Even if he became the highest under heaven, she must be the one by his side, unshakable.

Thus, Chen Jie thought of education; Su Yunjin came from a scholarly family and loved teaching, which was her passion.

Since it was her passion, it needed to be promoted, and coincidentally, he also had the idea of establishing a school; whether it was managing the sect or anything else, education was always the most important.

Therefore, Chen Jie wanted to entrust Su Yunjin with the lead role in his educational system.

Education was truly vital—if he placed someone he couldn’t trust in charge, how could the students be loyal to him?

And Su Yunjin’s love for him went without saying; anyone might betray him, but she could not.

Therefore, the person in charge of the school had to be her and no other.

Additionally, Chen Jie was planning for the future; if Su Yunjin could become the dean of this academy, in the future, many people from his system would have graduated under her, and although it might seem insignificant now, once Chen Jie truly received the Heavenly Mandate and became the supreme Emperor.

Then these people would form a steadfast Empress Faction!

At that time, Su Yunjin’s position would be unshakable, and this would also dispel any improper thoughts the future consorts might harbor when entering the palace!

Of course, some might ask, if these people all became part of the Empress Faction, could they pose a threat to Chen Jie?

The answer is no, because Chen Jie would intervene in the academy, where a specific course would be established: Ideological and Moral Education.

It would constantly instill in them the notion of always being loyal to Chen Jiusi.

So in the future, their support for the Empress Su Yunjin would be due to affection, but their loyalty to Chen Jie would be a matter of faith, and faith always outweighs affection!

Of course, these were only one of many plans Chen Jie had.

Additionally, Chen Jie had various reform systems concerning the economy, military, and politics, but currently, he had no opportunity to implement them as White Tiger Hall was still too small to facilitate major reforms, so he had to settle for small-scale, pilot reforms.

Moreover, Chen Jie also implemented reforms among the guild members.

For instance, militarized management.

Chen Jie reassessed his subordinates and selected those of average quality to serve as ordinary disciples, specifically managing some local fiscal tasks like tax collection and debt recovery, which are basic guild operations.

However, another group of higher-quality individuals was selected and placed under Xiao Hu’s management.

These disciples were fully dedicated and did not participate in any local operations, focusing solely on one activity: martial training and cultivation!

Chen Jie named them: White Tiger Guards.

And those thirteen who had stayed loyal to him during his struggle with Feng Xuan, resolutely standing by his side, he formed into the leaders of the White Tiger Guards.

Each commanded ten people, and thus the White Tiger Guards consisted only of one hundred thirty individuals, yet each was carefully selected and possessed strong combat capabilities.

Moreover, Chen Jie invested heavily, allocating twenty thousand taels of silver for acquiring medicinal materials and various elixirs, eventually bringing all thirteen leaders to the Willow Tendon Realm and over a hundred White Tiger Guards to the Skin Buff Realm, with a few entering the Refining Body Realm!

Apart from this, Chen Jie let Xiao Hu choose twelve absolutely loyal guards; a considerable number of them were from Xiantao Village, reflecting the success of the earlier talent selection scheme.

These talents were gradually sent to the city.

Chen Jie spent another sum of money, and eventually, these guards’ cultivation levels gradually reached the Refining Body Realm, although reaching the Dark Force required more time, and Chen Jie’s funds were also running low.

From Feng Xuan, he had seized a total of fifty thousand taels of silver, and training the army had already cost over 30,000 taels. The rest, Chen Jie needed to reserve some in case he needed to buy some medicinal materials.

Additionally, Chen Jie had also distributed Bone Strengthening Pills that he and Doctor Bai had refined to Xiao Hu and Zhou Chu.

Xiao Hu fared well; he officially entered the Iron Bone Realm yesterday noon.

And Zhou Chu was somewhat weaker, but when he came this morning, his face was also flush with health, and his strength had reached the Iron Bone Realm as well!

Thus, the facade of White Tiger Hall could be considered supported.

Next was the arrangement for some of the elders of White Tiger Hall.

Uncle Fu was invited back by Chen Jie, as were the Twelve Eagle Guards from Peng Shizhong’s time. After a purge that removed Ying Er and six defectors who had surrendered to Feng Xuan, only four remained and all were brought back by Chen Jie to serve as instructors of the White Tiger Guards.

Chen Jie realized that Uncle Fu was very adept at training talents.

After training by him, Xiao Hu had completely transformed, prompting Chen Jie to appoint Uncle Fu as the chief instructor of the White Tiger Guards, with the remaining four Eagle Guards as his deputies.

Uncle Fu was Iron Bone Realm level, and these Eagle Guards were also masters of Dark Force, all experienced, and with them instructing the White Tiger Guards, their combat power need not be a concern.

Moreover, there was his own Third Brother, Lu Rong, who was also Iron Bone Realm, though his leg had been broken by Qin Ying, so he had not been around these past few days.

Chen Jie’s first task yesterday morning was to visit this Third Brother.

After a brief and effective communication, his Third Brother showed support for him.

And Chen Jie still affirmed that for Tige—
