Wild Crazy Male Lead's Forced Love, You Don't Want, I Want!

89: Forced Love Boss 14Whatever dish Wen Ci wanted to eat, he would immediately pick it up for her, sometimes even directly feeding it to her mouth, watching her eat in small bites with such focused attention, as if it were some supreme delight.

When Wen Ci wanted soup, he would first scoop a spoonful, carefully blow on it to cool it before offering it to her.

He himself barely ate, spending most of his time watching her, or gently caressing the soft flesh at her waist with his thumb, feeling her presence.

As the servants delivered the meal, each held their breath, treading as lightly as possible, not daring to glance around, fearing they might disturb this scene that defied all understanding.

Butler Chen finally recovered from his initial shock, directing people to clean up the broken pieces on the floor, but his gaze remained complex as he looked at the man at the head of the table, who was practically embedding Wen Miss in his arms, his heart churning: The ice mountain… had truly melted? And melted so completely, turning into… clingy syrup?

After breakfast, Wen Ci wanted to go to the garden for some fresh air.

As soon as she stood up, her wrist was grasped by a warm, large hand.

”Where are you going?” Li Jin immediately stood up with her, his brows slightly furrowed, a hint of imperceptible tension in his eyes.

”Just going for a walk in the garden, to get some sun,” Wen Ci said, looking helplessly at his tightly clasped hand.

”I’ll go with you,” Li Jin said without hesitation, taking her hand and walking out, their fingers tightly intertwined, his strong grip encompassing her fingers in his palm.

Thus, the servants of the villa witnessed another sight that made their jaws drop: their Mr. Li, who had always been a solitary figure, with an intimidating aura that kept others at bay, was now tightly holding Wen Ci Miss’s hand, like the most ordinary of lovers, strolling in the morning garden.

His tall frame was slightly angled towards Wen Ci, his steps matching her rhythm, occasionally lowering his head to listen to her speak, the lines of his stern profile appearing unusually soft in the sunlight, and even… a faint, almost imperceptible smile seemed to play at the corners of his mouth?

A maid who was pruning roses dropped her scissors into the flowerbed with a ’clank,’ oblivious to it, she just stared blankly at the backs of the perfect couple, murmuring, ”Oh my god… Mr. Li… is he smiling?”

The entire mountaintop estate was enveloped in a profound and continuous shock.

The once gloomy, aloof, and awe-inspiring Li Jin seemed to have vanished overnight.

In his place was a man who seemed to want to keep Wen Ci by his side at all times, his gaze following her, every action revealing intense possessiveness and dependence.

He no longer worried about gains and losses, because he had confirmed her feelings—that ’liking’ he had once not dared to hope for.

This confirmation gave him endless confidence, allowing the beast of ’possession’ in his heart to completely break free from its cage, wanting only to use the most direct and intimate way to firmly lock her by his side, unwilling to be separated for even a second.

In the afternoon sunroom, Wen Ci was nestled on a soft sofa reading a book. After Li Jin finished handling a few urgent documents, he immediately put down his tablet, walked over, and without a word, scooped her into his arms, making her sit on his lap, resting his chin in the crook of her neck, deeply inhaling the fresh scent of her hair, and sighing contentedly.

Wen Ci giggled as he nuzzled her, pushing him, ”Mr. Li, how can I read like this?”

Li Jin caught her pushing hands, gently pecked them at his lips, his deep eyes gazing at her, filled with undisguised fervor and satisfaction: ”Is the book better looking than me?”

He picked up a crystal-clear cherry from the fruit plate nearby, carefully removed the stem, and offered it to her lips, ”Open your mouth.”

Wen Ci looked at his focused gaze, her heart melting into a puddle, and obediently opened her mouth to take it.

Sweet juice burst in her mouth, but it was far less sweet than the feeling in her heart.

Li Jin watched her slightly moving lips, his Adam’s apple bobbed, and his eyes instantly darkened.

He leaned down, and without a word, captured the sweetness that still carried the scent of cherry, not letting go until Wen Ci was breathless.

He rested his forehead against hers, his breathing unsteady, his voice low and hoarse, with a nearly reverent confirmation: ”Wen Ci…”

”Hmm?”

”You are my medicine,” he whispered, tightening his arms even more, as if to meld her into his bones and blood, ”the only medicine that can cure me.”

Wen Ci’s heart was deeply struck by these words, feeling both tender and sweet. She raised her hand, gently caressing his well-defined cheek, her fingertips tracing his deep-set eyes, her smile gentle and firm: ”Li Jin, you are too.”

She leaned close to his ear, in a whisper only they could hear, with a hint of mischievous laughter, she softly said: ”I really like your clingy side. So, don’t be shy, Mr. Li, just keep clinging.”

Li Jin’s pupils suddenly constricted, and then, an unprecedented, pure and fervent joy exploded in his eyes.

He let out a low moan, and leaned down again, deeply kissing this young woman who proclaimed his ownership and his complete surrender.

Sunlight streamed through the glass dome, casting a warm golden edge on their embracing figures.

Outside the window, were the cautious, disbelieving gazes of the still-shocked servants.

Inside the window, was the hot and sticky love that Li Jin had finally broken free from all shackles and unrestrainedly released, a love belonging only to Wen Ci.

Later.

It should have been a very happy night.

Yet, Li Jin was deeply trapped in a muddy dream, unable to escape.

The world in his dream was cold, desolate, and carried the scent of decay.

He felt as if he was trapped in a heavy and numb shell, his soul confined by invisible shackles, only able to watch, feeling the despair that could slowly torture a person to death.

Su Wanqing.

This name was like a poisoned needle, repeatedly piercing his heart.

He ”saw” himself, or rather, the ”him” of his previous life, humbly standing in the center of a luxurious yet empty living room.
