Wild Crazy Male Lead's Forced Love, You Don't Want, I Want!

87: Forced Love Boss 12Su Wanqing was just a minor interlude.

Neither Wen Ci nor Li Jin took her to heart.

Deep into the night.

In the villa’s room, a single dim, yellow wall lamp remained, casting an ambiguous glow on the expensive carpet.

The air was filled with the faint, sweet scent of a post-bath, mixed with Li Jin’s unique cool cedar aroma.

Li Jin stood by Wen Ci’s bed, his posture still as tall and straight as a pine, but his usual cold, commanding aura, which controlled everything, now seemed a little… awkward.

He had just used the flimsy excuse of his own room’s water heater being broken to come to Wen Ci’s room to shower.

Now, he had changed into a dark silk robe, its collar slightly open, revealing his sharply defined jawline and a small portion of his collarbone.

His gaze fell heavily upon Wen Ci; she was leaning against the headboard, her soft long hair cascading over her shoulders, the warm yellow light dancing on her delicate skin, as if she were enveloped in a soft glow.

He wanted to stay.

This thought, like a vine, grew wildly in his heart, entangling every nerve called “reason.”

He wanted to feel her warmth beside him, to confirm the reality of this peace, to dispel the nightmares of loss that haunted the deep night and always woke him up.

But his Adam’s apple bobbed a few times, and the words “Can I stay?” were like a burning hot coal, stuck in his throat, scorching him so that he couldn’t make any sound.

He was used to giving orders, to being in control, to people being cautious around him.

Yet, facing Wen Ci, facing her clear, transparent eyes that seemed to see through everything, all his strong-arm tactics turned into helplessness.

He was afraid his clumsy approach would startle her, afraid that even a hint of resistance or annoyance might show in her eyes.

The imagined “annoyance” from her was harder for him to bear than any hidden attack from a business rival.

He was like a naive young man stepping into unknown territory for the first time, his fingertips unconsciously rubbing the tie of his robe, his gaze lingering between Wen Ci’s serene profile and the empty space beside her, carrying a trace of imperceptible longing and… an almost pitiful hesitation.

Wen Ci gently closed the book in her hand and placed it on the bedside table.

She looked up, her clear eyes accurately catching the deep, almost overflowing longing and the painstakingly hidden awkwardness in Li Jin’s eyes.

His tall figure appeared somewhat tense in the lamplight, like a bow drawn taut but unsure whether to release.

A knowing smile spread in her eyes, gentle yet a little mischievous.

“Mr. Li,” her voice was very soft, like a feather brushing across the heart, breaking the subtle silence in the room.

She didn’t give him any more time to hesitate, directly reaching out her hand, her fair, slender fingers gently hooking onto Li Jin’s slightly stiff fingers, which hung by his side.

The moment their fingertips touched, Li Jin’s body stiffened abruptly, as if struck by an electric current.

He looked down in disbelief, watching his hand, accustomed to holding a pen to sign billion-dollar contracts, now gently held by a soft, warm small hand.

Wen Ci didn’t look at him; she just pulled him towards the bed with a slight tug.

Her actions carried an undeniable gentleness and firmness.

Li Jin was almost subconsciously, and somewhat unsteadily, led by her, his tall body obediently sitting on the edge of the soft mattress.

She shifted her body, making space, then looked up, gazing directly into his deep eyes, like a cold pool, where astonishment, bewilderment, and a glimmer of cautious, disbelieving light were clearly reflected.

“You…” Li Jin’s throat was terribly dry, his voice low and hoarse, with a tension he hadn’t even noticed, “You don’t hate me?”

He asked the deepest fear swirling in his heart, those related to his cold reputation, his possessiveness, and his “dangerous” labels.

He gazed at her, afraid to miss any hint of hesitation or fear that might appear on her face.

Wen Ci smiled softly, that smile blooming in the dim yellow light, bright enough to dispel all gloom.

She didn’t answer, but directly showed him through action.

She leaned in slightly, her soft arms, like water snakes, climbed gently around Li Jin’s neck with a heart-stirring warmth.

This gesture was too intimate, too proactive, completely exceeding Li Jin’s expectations, making all his muscles tense instantly, his breathing momentarily stopping.

Wen Ci’s cheek pressed close to him, so close that he could clearly smell the fresh scent of her hair and feel her warm breath caress his jaw.

There was no fear in her clear eyes, only a brimming smile and a kind of almost doting indulgence.

“Mr. Li,” her soft lips were almost touching his earlobe, her breath like orchids, her voice light and charming, with a hook, “Can’t you tell yet?”

Her fingers gently caressed the back of his neck, sending tiny shivers through him.

“I have never hated you,” she said, every word clear and distinct, like the most beautiful vow, “not even a little.”

Li Jin’s pupils suddenly contracted, his heart felt as if it were fiercely clutched by an invisible hand, then gently released, beating violently, making his eardrums hum.

“On the contrary,” Wen Ci’s smile deepened, carrying a hint of mischief, as she looked directly into the surging storm of shock in his eyes, “I like you very much.”

Boom—!

These words were like a sudden clap of thunder, unleashing colossal waves in the dead, barren lake of Li Jin’s heart!

Shock, ecstasy, disbelief… countless surging emotions instantly overwhelmed his proud self-control.

In the depths of his dark eyes, the millennia-old ice seemed to have been plunged into molten lava, melting and boiling fiercely, churning with a terrifying light. Like? She said she liked him?

In this world… could someone… actually like him? Not fear, not submission, not coveting power, but… pure liking?

Wen Ci clearly felt the stiffness of his body and the turbulent waves in his eyes.

The curve of her lips deepened, carrying a magic that soothed the heart, as she continued to whisper, her voice soft and sweet, as if coated in honey:

“I know about all those things you sent me before, you know.” Her fingers were no longer content with his neck, beginning to playfully, subtly, slide down along the neckline of his robe, her fingertips brushing his firm chest.

“I’ve always liked them very much…” Her breath brushed his earlobe, carrying a burning warmth, “and cherished them very much…”

Her actions and words were like the strongest wine, igniting the long-suppressed beastly instincts in Li Jin’s blood.

Especially when her restless fingers, with a hint of testing and teasing, lightly touched, and even boldly caressed the distinct contours of his abdominal muscles through the thin silk robe—

The string in Li Jin’s mind called “reason” completely snapped!

Wen Ci seemed not to notice the dark fire that instantly ignited in his eyes, capable of burning everything, and tilted her head slightly, looking at him with those innocent yet captivating eyes, her red lips parting to utter words like the most fatal invitation:

“So… Mr. Li, shall we sleep together?”

All of Li Jin’s awkwardness, unease, and hesitation were incinerated in that moment, leaving only the most primal, most surging possessiveness and desire!

He let out a low gasp, his voice hoarse like sandpaper rubbing, containing a storm suppressed to the extreme.

The next second, his tall body, with its burning temperature and undeniable dominance, pressed down upon her.

Under the dim yellow light, his deep eyes were like burning stars, tightly locking onto the person beneath him, filled with intense emotions capable of consuming one—shock, ecstasy, disbelief, and a thoroughly ignited, surging desire.

He lowered his head, their hot breaths intertwining, his voice deep as if from the abyss:

“Ci Ci, I will make you happy.”
