Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

It was almost like watching a swarm of locusts with the way that the disciples of the various sects collected the treasures.

Though they didn’t show it openly, there really was no hiding the greed that was in their eyes. It was clear that they wanted every single thing that was in this place and they were planning on taking everything that wasn’t bolted down.

As they were doing this, the sect masters and elders were giving them even more advice on what they should be taking.

”Boom.”

While all of this was happening, there was a sudden explosion that came from behind us.

Turning around, it seemed like there was someone that was fighting in the distance.

Only it didn’t seem like it was just a simple fight between those that were competing over treasures.

From the fluctuations that came from the fight, it seemed like this was some kind of fight to the death. But that shouldn’t be since the rules only allowed for fair competition between the disciples.

Even if there was a strong grievance, it wasn’t as if they would break the rules set by their sects just to resolve these grievances. After all, the consequences would be too much for these disciples to withstand.

So there was no way that it would have been the disciples of the various sects that were causing this commotion.

If it wasn’t them, then it had to be...

”It’s the demonic sects!”

As soon as they realized this, the various sects didn’t waste any time as they charged in the direction of the commotion. It was as if they didn’t care at all about the treasures that they were leaving behind.

But that wasn’t the reason they were so decisive in taking action against the intruders.

Rather, it was because they were trying to protect their treasures from these intruders that they were going all out like this.

However, I knew that there was one more reason for this.

”It seems like the grudge between the righteous and demonic sects is still as strong as it was in the game.”

When this world was still a game, the relationship between the orthodox and demonic sects had already been firmly established. It wasn’t just a single war that had happened between the two sides, there were countless wars that had happened.

Because of all these wars, there were countless casualties that came from both sides.

Which was why both sides held grudges against each other that were just hard to let go of.

Unless there was something that happened that threatened their very existence, it would be hard for them to let go of this grudge between them.

Perhaps they might not even drop the grudge between them even if it meant that they would all die.

As long as the other side dies, that might be all that mattered to them.

But for me, this was a good chance for me to take a look at the demonic sects.

I had just been wondering about the demonic sects earlier and they showed up like this...

”It seems like there are still spies in the righteous sects.”

There were many missions that were related to dealing with spies in the righteous sects, so I had a good idea of how many spies there were and where they were deployed. But it wasn’t as if I had a reason to get rid of those spies just yet.

If the demonic sects could be brought to our side to fight against the forces of Destruction, then it would be in everyone’s best interest to work out some kind of agreement between the orthodox and demonic sects.

Coming to the scene of the fight, I could see why they were called the demonic sects. Though I already knew why they were called that because of the time that I had spent playing the game.

The game already fully demonstrated why they were called the demonic sects.

It was just that seeing these techniques for myself was a completely different feeling.

Watching them use these techniques that were considered demonic, there was a part of me that couldn’t help feeling resistant to the thought of bringing them under our fold.

After all, the techniques that they used really couldn’t be considered human at all.

Those techniques were really quite demonic as they sacrificed people to cultivate.

But thinking about the greater good, there was still a part of me that wanted to bring them into our fold to fight the forces of Destruction.

That was until I noticed something.

”This wasn’t in the game...” That was all that I could say as I watched the demonic cultivators pull out something that they shouldn’t have possessed.

But there was no mistaking this thing since it had a very unique sensation.

It wasn’t something that should have existed in this cultivation world at all, yet the demonic cultivators were making use of this thing without a single issue.

Well, it wasn’t that there wasn’t a single issue.

It was just that they really could do what they wanted with their spiritual energy.

It wasn’t to the point where they were able to control the corruption energy monsters, but they were still able to use the corruption energy itself. The corruption energy was something that swallowed anything that came close, so just that alone was already more than dangerous enough.

The orthodox cultivators had no choice but to dodge out of the way of the corruption energy and to go out of their way to avoid the spots that were hit with the corruption energy.

With the way that the demonic cultivators used the corruption energy, it seemed like they had practiced this for a long time now. They were fully aware of how to place the corruption energy so that it was to their advantage.

With a sigh, I stepped forward.

Since the demonic cultivators were using corruption energy, it wasn’t as if I could leave them be.

I had to at least figure out who it was that gave them this idea in the first place.
