Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

”Who is this?”

The elders that had been desperately searching for me outside the cave were naturally surprised to see Chun following me.

An awkward look appeared on my face when I heard this, but I just gave them the explanation that I had prepared.

To be fair, it was the truth...though I did make sure to leave a few things out.

”This puppet isn’t normal...”

All of the elders were considered peak cultivators in this cultivation world, so they could naturally see through Chun.

Though when it came down to it, Chun was actually more powerful than the elders that were gathered here.

Chun was the guard that had been left behind to guard over the legacy of a cultivator that became an immortal. A guard that was left behind to guard something this important would certainly need to be powerful.

When the elders noticed this, they all couldn’t help looking into the cave that I had come out of. But even if they wanted to enter the manor, it had already disappeared without a trace.

It wasn’t that the manor collapsed, it was that me and Chun had activated the defenses of the manor that made it invisible with an illusion array.

It seemed like the former owner of the manor had already thought of everything for the new owner, which was why this illusion array had also been placed here just in case anything happened.

So in the end, the elders had no choice but to accept what I told them.

A big part of this was because they still thought I was an immortal, which made it easier for them to accept.

Though from the way that they looked at me and asked me follow up questions, it was clear that they were hoping that I might have something that I could share with them. This was their territory after all, so it only made sense that they would be entitled to a share of what was found here.

But I just told them that I found nothing.

With Chun backing me up and the fact that they still needed the divine energy weapons, it really was hard for them to press me.

So in the end, we headed deeper into the forest until we were standing right in the middle of it.

”Alright, we can head back now.”

The elders all looked at me with a strange look when they heard this.

The only thing that I did after arriving at the center of this forest was take a deep breath and look around before saying this. They didn’t understand why I had suddenly come to the forest just for this.

”I just wanted to take in the scenery.”

Of course, this explanation wasn’t enough for them, but it wasn’t as if they could actually say anything. However, I could tell from the looks on their faces that they were thinking about reporting this matter to the sect masters.

If they couldn’t say anything, they would rely on those that had the position to say something.

But that was before they saw what I was capable of.

Once they saw what I was capable of, it wasn’t as if there was anything that they could do.

”Oops.”

Whenever I tripped like this, there was treasure that was unearthed.

After leaving the forest, I had the elders take me to the places that I had shown interest in before. I told them that I wanted to see the sights that they recommended, so it wasn’t as if they were suspicious of me.

But seeing the things that came out whenever I tripped, it was only normal that they should be shocked.

”Where is this all coming from?”

None of the items were actually good enough that the elders would feel greedy, but it did hurt them seeing the combined value of these items. It really was hard seeing someone obtain all of these treasures in front of them like this.

After the second item, they started examining the holes that I was digging the treasures from. They wanted to see if there was something special about these holes where all of these treasures were coming from.

But it didn’t matter how they looked at the holes, there was nothing special about them at all.

”These aren’t things that were left by anyone, these were things that were created by the system. It’s no wonder they wouldn’t be able to find any traces of people leaving these treasures behind.”

The things that I was digging out were all hidden items in the game.

They were random items that one could find in random spots on the map, but in this world they were usually buried under the ground or hidden in special spots. It wasn’t hard for me to dig them up when I pretended to fall over.

So there was nothing that the elders could do about this.

Though after a while, the way that they looked at me was a bit strange.

I didn’t know what it was that they were thinking when they looked at me, but the one good thing was that I could tell that they didn’t have any hostility.

Instead, there was this strange fervor that filled their eyes as time passed.

”As expected of the lord immortal, this kind of luck is something else.”

I couldn’t help revealing a wry smile when I heard this, but it wasn’t as if I was going to explain that it wasn’t luck. Everything that I had obtained was all based on the knowledge from my past life, so it couldn’t be called luck at all.

Though, it wasn’t as if this was something that I could tell them.

So instead, I just kept picking up all of the hidden items that I could remember.

If they were going to make an excuse for me, it wasn’t as if I was going to hold back at all when it came to picking up free items.
