Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

The more that I thought about this, the more that I wanted to freely explore this city.

Though I knew that this just wasn’t an option since the ones from the Sorcery Empire would never allow me to do that.

This place was a special place for the Sorcery Empire, that meant that this place wasn’t a place that they would allow outsiders in that easily.

Just the fact that they had allowed me to come here and take this test was already them showing more than enough sincerity.

If I were to push it, I might spark an international incident.

At a time where not just the humans, but all of the races were united against the forces of Destruction, this just wasn’t something that I could do…

As I was lost in thought like this, the screen disappeared and the opening in the wall opened again.

The head teacher was just standing there as if he had been waiting for us the entire time. The moment that he saw us, he said with a smile, ”Well? How do you feel?”

When the students heard this, they couldn’t help turning to look in my direction with strange looks. But in the end, they didn’t say anything as they just gave simple gestures to show that it was fine.

The head teacher also turned to look at me, but I just didn’t notice anything since I was still lost in thought.

So in the end, the head teacher continued by saying, ”I won’t ask if you want to take the high level test. After all, that test is something that even the teachers would find hard to pass.”

The students all looked surprised to hear this, but since it was the head teacher that was saying this, they didn’t argue with him.

Instead, they just followed the head teacher’s gaze.

That was also when I snapped out of my thoughts since I could see that the head teacher was looking at me.

It was clear that there was something that he was implying with the way that he looked at me.

As such, the others also seemed incited when they saw this.

But I disappointed them by saying, ”No, I’m not interested.”

Everyone looked at me with surprised looks at first when they heard this before they looked at me with strange looks.

In a way, it was almost as if they were trying to figure out if I was being serious or not.

Only I really wasn’t interested in this.

There was nothing for me to gain from taking the high level test since I wouldn’t even be able to use the reward that it gave. At the same time, it would be quite exhausting for me to actually take this test.

It might even put me in danger if I were to take it.

After all, the intermediate test required one to use intermediate spells to destroy the targets.

The high level test would no doubt require high level spells and would even rain down high level spells.

I definitely wasn’t sure if I could pass this test as easily as I did the other two.

As such, there was no need for me to push myself like this.

I could also see that Aisha and the sea witches were disappointed as well, but it wasn’t as if I was here to put on a show.

Since I insisted on not taking the high level test, the head teacher just said with a sigh, ”Alright, we naturally won’t force you to take it. Since we’re done here, let’s get ready to head back.”

This time, I was caught off guard.

I thought that we would be able to explore the city some more, I had even been counting on it. After all, I had figured out that this place was related to what should be the beta version of the game.

As such, I really wanted to explore it as much as possible.

But it made sense that the teachers would end the field trip here.

The main purpose of this field trip should have been to bring the students to this place so that they could take this test. It would give them magic knowledge that they would be able to study for a while.

There was no reason for them to let the students go any further into these ruins.

Especially since they wanted to keep things hidden about these ruins.

This place was the secret of the Sorcery Empire and even if these were students of the magic academy, it wasn’t as if they would be trusted with everything that was down here.

It was just that I really couldn’t let it end that easily…

Biting my lip, my mind quickly turned as I tried to think of a way to keep this field trip going.

But then I suddenly thought of something.

It was because we had come out to see that the teachers were standing around the egg like structure still. They had their staves out and they were pointing them at the egg like structure like they were doing something to it.

I realized that they had been providing mana to run this thing that gave the test.

Or at least they gave enough mana to activate and then the egg like structure should have run on some other form of energy.

For them to bring me down here, it started to make more sense.

So I went forward to ask the head teacher to speak alone.

He was surprised and a bit confused as to why I made this request, but he still agreed.

When we were on the side alone…

”I know that you want me to use my mana to power something down here. I’ll do it since I’m interested in this place.” I suddenly said this to him.

The head teacher was taken aback when he heard this before he tried to deny it, but the look on my face showed that I didn’t believe him.

After a moment of silence, he finally opened up and told the truth.
