Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

”How is this possible? How are those peasants doing all of this?”

There was no answer to this question.

All of the ministers and generals that were gathered in the room were silent when they heard this. With the way that they were standing there in silence, it was as if they wanted to draw as little attention as possible.

It was as if they didn’t want anyone to even know that they were in the room with the way that they hid themselves.

That was because none of them were actually able to answer this question.

All of them were actually wondering the same thing as the king who asked this question.

Just how did the peasants suddenly come up with this coordinated coup plot?

There were even local lords and knights that were joining in the coup, which meant that this wasn’t just a disorganized mob that they could easily sweep through. There were those that could even rival the knights of the knight order that the king had under him. Explore hidden tales at freewebnovel

At the same time, if he were to take them down, all that would do is harm his kingdom since they were his subjects.

Though in the eyes of the king, it wasn’t as if he actually saw them as his subjects.

Rather, he saw them as more of his belongings rather than people that he ruled over.

So he was angered that they would actually rebel against him like this.

It was like a dog biting the hand of the one that fed it.

Seeing that none of the ministers and generals said anything, the king of the Poppin Kingdom slammed his fist down on the armrest of his chair and roared, ”Well?! Do none of you have an idea of what to do about this?!”

The ministers and generals once again remained silent, but it wasn’t as if they could remain silent forever like this.

After all, the reports were coming in from all corners of the country about different groups of people rising up in rebellion.

The only place that didn’t have a trace of rebellion was the capital and that was only because the headquarters of the knight order was in the capital. In this place that was guarded by the knight order, it was impossible for the peasants to rise up.

All that would happen is that they would be slaughtered by the knights.

As expected of a king that only cared about himself and not what his kingdom needed.

In the end, it was the prime minister that said, ”Your majesty, we believe that this must be some kind of outside plot. It’s impossible for the peasants to have gathered this many weapons and to be this organized. It’s clear that there’s something targeting our kingdom.”

The king of the Poppin Kingdom slammed his fist down again before saying, ”Do I need you to tell me that? Anyone can figure that out! Now tell me how we deal with these peasants!”

At that, no one said anything.

They really couldn’t think of anything good since this was a situation that they had never encountered before.

Finally, there was one minister that no one paid attention to that suddenly said, ”How about we ask for the help of the empires? This is a time where everyone is united because of the threat against the continent, so they should listen to us if we ask for their help.”

Everyone looked at that one minister as if he was an idiot.

It was one thing if he didn’t say anything to draw attention to himself, but the moment that he opened his mouth…

However, it wasn’t actually everyone that looked at the minister like he was an idiot.

There was someone that looked at him with a look of thought on his face.

It was a good thing for this minister that the one that was looking at him with this thoughtful look was the only person that actually mattered here.

It was the king on the throne who was looking at the minister like this.

After a moment of silence, he slammed his hand down on the armrest once more which made everyone jump again. But he didn’t slam his hand down because he was against what the minister said.

Rather, he slammed his hand down to show his support for the suggestion that this one minister made.

”Very good! This is a very good idea! Prepare a messenger to head to the four empires right away! Then we’ll send out the knights to keep the rebels at bay until the four empires respond!”

The ministers and generals were all shocked to hear this.

Even the minister that had suggested this was shocked to hear that the king agreed with his plan.

After all, he had only given that suggestion out of desperation and it wasn’t as if he thought that it would actually work.

But it was clear that the king thought that this plan would work.

There were looks of hesitation that appeared on the faces of the ministers and generals before the prime minister said, ”Your majesty, this plan…”

”What are you waiting for! Are you just going to wait until the peasants reach the capital and surround us? Hurry up and send the message already!” The king slammed his fist down again in rage.

At this, the ministers and generals had no choice but to follow his orders.

It was just that before they could actually follow his orders, there was someone that suddenly ran in.

”I have an important report to make!” This messenger said while panting.

When they heard this, everyone immediately deeply knitted their brows.

The king especially had a look on his face that seemed to have a trace of threat in it.

It was as if he was saying, ”You better have good news or else!”

”The headquarters of the knight order has collapsed from an attack.” The messenger said with an ugly look on his face.

”What?!” Everyone said in response to this.

However, that wasn’t the only thing that the messenger had to say, ”The ones that did it are wyverns that suddenly appeared in the sky.”
