Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

This spike of earth had come from behind the Death King and stabbed right up into its chest. Since the Death King had been completely focused on Joan, it hadn’t noticed this earth spike until it was too late.

As for why it was only focused on Joan, that was because it only took Joan as a threat.

There was nothing else that was here that it considered a threat, which was why it didn’t pay any attention to the one that created the earth spike.

As for me, I was still holding up the Staff of Earth that I was pointing at the Death King.

That was because I injected more of my mana into the Staff of Earth to create two more earth spikes that suddenly came out from behind the Death King just like the first one. These two earth spikes were aimed right at the Death King’s core like the first earth spike.

But in the end, they didn’t reach it.

It wasn’t that the Death King was able to gather its power to resist the earth spikes.

Rather, it was because there was this strange energy that suddenly appeared around the core of the Death King.

This was a dark energy that had a darker black colour than the one that the Death King possessed. It seemed to be a more concentrated form of the dark energy that the Death King had been using.

But it didn’t seem like the Death King had control of this energy.

Rather, with the cracks that were forming in the core of the Death King, it didn’t even seem like it had control of the dark energy that it was using previously.

It seemed like it was about to collapse at any moment.

Then there was a voice that said, ”Who dares to destroy my puppet?”

This was a voice that wasn’t soft or loud, but it could be heard across the entire battlefield.

At the same time, when this voice rang out through the air, it seemed that the demons reacted.

It seemed that all of the demons recognized this voice as they suddenly stopped fighting and moved away from the humans.

The human armies were confused why the demons did this, but they didn’t chase after them just in case it was some kind of trap.

That was how the fighting suddenly stopped.

After this silence lingered in the air for a bit before the voice rang out again.

”I can sense the presence of those accursed gods.”

As this voice said this, the Death King turned to look at me.

The way that it looked at me was almost as if it was being used as some kind of relay for the owner of this voice. It was as if it was transmitting the image of me to the one that was speaking.

I looked at the Death King while tightly gripping the Staff of Earth since I could feel the aura coming from the Death King.

It was completely different from the aura that the Death King released earlier.

Though for some strange reason, I couldn’t help comparing it to something else that I’ve felt before.

It was similar to the aura that I felt when I met the gods.

Did that mean that whoever the owner of this voice was, it was on the same level as the gods?

It had to be if it was cursing out those gods in the first place...

I took a moment to gather my mind before narrowing my eyes to look at the Death King and asking, ”Are you the one that’s controlling the corruption energy?”

”Corruption energy? Is that what they’re calling it now?” A booming laugh rang out along with these words.

I couldn’t help knitting my brows when I heard this before asking, ”What do you mean by that?”

”It’s very simple, they call it corruption because they think that it’s a stain on this world. However, what it really is is the primal chaos that exists in all worlds. It is the nothingness that all worlds are built on and what the worlds will return to in the end.” The voice said in a commanding fashion.

I knitted my brows even more after hearing this before saying, ”Get to the point, who are you?”

”You’re not worthy of knowing who or what I am. All you need to know is that I won’t let a puppet of the gods get in my way.”

Right after it said this, there was a powerful pressure that came from the Death King.

This was a kind of pressure that made me take several steps back and even made Joan come in front of me to protect me. This was a pressure that really made it feel like I was about to die.

But in the end, there was nothing that happened.

”If it wasn’t for the fact that I’m suppressed by the laws of this world, I would have already killed you myself. But since I can’t, I’ll just let my puppets do it.” The pressure faded after the voice said this.

Then the dark energy seemed to disappear from the Death King and there were more cracks that formed on the Death King’s core.

In no time at all, the cracks completely took over the Death King’s core and it shattered to

pieces.

The way that the Death King’s core broke apart almost seemed anti-climatic...

It really felt strange that things ended like this, especially with what the voice had said in the

end.

But then there was a different pressure that came from a different part of the battlefield.

It was from the center of the formation of the demons.

”You think that you can win with just this? Then I’ll use my true puppet to take you all down.”

Right after this voice fell, the appearance of the one releasing the pressure appeared.

It was a demon that had horns on his head and wings on his back.

This was a demon that looked like a perfect personification of what a demon should be.

With the power that he demonstrated, there was no doubt of his identity.

This was the demon king.
