Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

A large kingdom, two medium sized kingdoms, and thirty small kingdoms...

No, adding in the Nergiante Kingdom that had been established, it should be thirty one small kingdoms.

With all of these different kingdoms as our vassals, that meant that we had far surpassed the influence that just a single small kingdom should have.

It was even more than the influence of all of the large kingdoms.

We were close to reaching the same level of influence as the four empires...

It was just that we were lacking in a few more medium sized kingdoms and one or two more large kingdoms.

If we had that, then we would be equal to any of the four empires.

But we were just a small kingdom that was on the edge of the human race’s territory.

It really didn’t seem right...

I couldn’t help worrying what kind of influence this would have on our relationship with the rest of the countries. The relationships that I was the most worried about were the ones with the four empires.

After all, if we were to gain this kind of influence, there was no doubt that the four empires would feel pressured by us. Along with the power that we had, it was just that we were lacking in territory to match the four empires.

It was almost as if we were coming for them.

Of course they wouldn’t be happy about another country approaching their level of power. Of course they wouldn’t enjoy the threat of someone else having power that came close to their

own.

Currently, I have a good relationship with the Holy Empire and the Tide Empire.

If we were to lose that, then there was no doubt that the Kite Kingdom would start being suppressed by others for growing so much.

That was why I was worried when they called a general meeting for the human race the next day.

When I arrived, I could tell that there were strange looks that were being cast in our direction. Currently, no one should have known about the plans to take these kingdoms as vassals, so there was no reason that anyone should be looking at me like this.

Only with the way that they were looking at me, it really seemed like they knew something. At the same time though, it didn’t seem like they only knew about the plan to have these kingdoms become our vassal kingdoms.

It was as if they knew something else that even I didn’t know.

When I came in, the representative from the Holy Empire waved at me and said, ”Your majesty, please come and sit.”

I looked over to see that the representatives from the four empires were all sitting together and it seemed like they had all been waiting for me.

I slowly came over and asked, ”Where do I sit?”

At this, the representative of the Holy Empire pointed at the seat at the head of the table and said, ”Of course it’s here since you’re the representative of the human race that we’ve chosen.”

I was shocked to hear this and slowly looked at the representatives of the other empires. It didn’t seem like any of them actually disagreed with this.

I had to look at the representatives of the other kingdoms, but they didn’t say anything either.

So in the end, I sat down where I was indicated to sit down.

When I did, the representative of the Holy Empire said, ”Alright, now that we’re all here, let’s discuss the matter of the demons.”

I was once again surprised to hear this.

After all, the way that he said this was almost as if they had all been waiting for me.

If that was the case, I could understand why they all looked at me with that strange look.

If the representatives of the four empires specifically waited for me, that was a very big matter.

It meant that they were taking me as their equals.

After all, if it was anyone else that showed up late like I had done, they certainly wouldn’t have waited for them. They would have definitely started the meeting without them.

So it was a big deal that they were waiting for me.

The representatives from the four empires just said what they wanted to say while I was still in a daze over what had happened. But there wasn’t anything special about what they said since it was all things that had been discussed previously.

We made the concessions that we agreed to make for the cooperation with the demons.

So it was more of a report that everything had gone smoothly.

The human representatives had mixed expressions on their faces, but they didn’t say anything in the end. This was a matter that was backed by the four empires and had been led by the four empires, so they had no choice but to agree to it in the end.

Plus, they had gotten deals that were beneficial to them, so it wasn’t as if they suffered any losses.

It was what happened at the end of this meeting that was a shock.

The representative from the Holy Empire turned to look at me and said, ”Your majesty, I hope that we will have a chance to work together again in the future.”

The representatives from the other empires nodded in agreement to this.

When they heard this, all of the representatives from the other kingdoms revealed shocked expressions.

That was because the way that the four empires said this was almost as if they were treating him as an equal.

Even I was shocked by this since I didn’t understand why the four empires were acting this

way.

Then I slowly started to understand.

The information networks of the four empires really weren’t things that could be looked

down on.

They deserved their fame as the four empires of the human race.

”The fifth empire.”

That was what was whispered by the other human representatives during this meeting.

That caused a bitter smile to appear on my face.
