Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure

Of course, it also depended on how much territory they were asking for.

It wasn’t as if the human race would be willing to give up that much territory.

So it was all about how much the elven race wanted.

In the end, it wasn’t enough that the human race would reject their requests.

That was how the different races were able to end the discussion on this matter and come to an agreement. This was how the different races were able to reach a deal that would mean peace for their races.

Well, relative peace since there was a bigger threat.

Once the bigger threat was dealt with, then there was no telling what would happen to this agreement.

But for now, at least they agreed to work together.

When it was over, the different kingdoms wanted to connect with the different

representatives of the different races. It was just that there was nothing that came of it since they didn’t want to talk to them.

Even if the different races agreed to work with the human race, that didn’t mean that they were willing to cooperate with all of the kingdoms.

They were still distrusting of these human kings to a certain extent.

The only one that they actually trusted was...

”So why did you want to meet?”

”His majesty wants to help you bury the hatchet.”

The one that said this was the envoy from the Merman Empire sitting in front of me.

To the right of this envoy from the Merman Empire was the representative from the Tide Empire.

The two of them looked like they had already come to some kind of agreement with the way that they were both facing me.

So with slightly knitted brows, I turned to Ariel beside me to see if she knew anything about this.

But she just shook her head to show that she didn’t know anything either.

The representative from the Tide Empire was the one that spoke next, but he didn’t just speak. Instead, he looked at Ariel and slightly bowed his head before speaking.

”Your highness, we wish to apologize for all the wrongs that we’ve caused you. I hope that you will be able to forgive us.”

It was strange that he would suddenly apologize to Ariel like this, but then he did something else that explained this as well.

Turning to me, he said with another bow of his head, ”Your majesty, we also have to apologize for the trouble that we’ve caused your country.”

The way that he did this was almost as if he knew something.

It was as if he knew something that we had been trying to hide from both the Tide Empire and the Merman Empire.

I turned to look at the representative of the Merman Empire with narrowed eyes. Seeing this, he just calmly said with a smile, ”You shouldn’t underestimate the intelligence networks of empires. They are things that have been developed over many centuries, so there aren’t many secrets that can be hidden.”

The way that he said this was almost as if he was teasing me.

The representative from the Tide Empire then added, ”It was our fault in the first place for not managing the illegitimate children of our royal family properly.”

This was the nail in the coffin.

It was very clear what they were referring to and since they already knew everything, there was no point in trying to hide it. If they already knew everything, then it was better to just deal with this matter before it became even bigger.

”Since you’ve already apologized, then there’s no need to drag this matter out. I hope that in the future, we will be able to have a normal relationship with each other. I’m sure that there are things that we can gain from cooperating with each other, right?” I said with a sigh.

The representative from the Tide Empire nodded in agreement to this before looking as if he wanted to say something. But it seemed like he was hesitating on saying what he wanted to say.

So I broke the ice for him, ”Is there something that you want to bring up now?”

With a nod, the representative from the Tide Empire said, ”Our emperor wishes to offer a trade deal to your country.”

I was surprised to hear this, but then I narrowed my eyes to look at him as I slowly said, ”What kind of trade deal?”

There was still a bit of hesitation, but in the end, the representative from the Tide Empire said, ”We want to trade for the same goods as the Merman Empire.”

Seeing that I wasn’t saying anything and had even knitted my brows, the representative from the Tide Empire added, ”We have our own need for the item just like the Merman Empire, so we hope that you can trade it with us as well.”

I turned to look at the representative from the Merman Empire, but he didn’t seem to feel that guilty at all.

In the end, it seemed that the relationship that they had with the Tide Empire was still deeper than the one that they had with me. But I also felt that part of it was because of the things that I had done under the water.

It was most likely because of the fact that Aquaron got involved that they took this matter

very seriously.

But having the Tide Empire on our side wasn’t a bad thing.

If they really were willing to look over the matters of the past...

But then again, it wasn’t as if I was that afraid of the Tide Empire now.

There were ways to deal with them.

That was just how strong our Kite Kingdom had become during this time.

So after a moment of silence, I slowly said with a nod, ”Alright, we’ll have to go over the

details later, but we can talk about a trade deal between our countries.”

The representative from the Tide Empire looked like he was overjoyed to hear this before

shaking my hand profusely.

But still, I didn’t let my guard down.
