A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 1555: Chapter 1545: Press Conference

Less than a year since Lin Jiamu released his last album, he’s about to release a new one, which certainly counts as dedicated in the industry, and his fans are naturally delighted.

However, he announced a few months ago his indefinite exit from the entertainment industry, and now suddenly says he’ll release a new album, leaving many netizens to mock whether he ran out of money and returned to the entertainment industry to make some.

Adding to this, Lin Jiamu’s previous Weibo post revealed that the new album is related to Mu Yan, leading to speculation that this album might be a declaration of affection to Mu Yan, especially since the album is titled ”Protecting Dream.” But is his dream Mu Yan?

In any case, this new album launch is destined to attract attention from all over.

On the day of the launch, Lin Jiamu’s and Mu Yan’s fans surrounded the entire venue, forming layer upon layer. Unfortunately, aside from the reporters, no one else could enter, and even some reporters weren’t qualified to interview.

Mu Yan entered through a special passage, her face subtly made-up, looking in good spirits, wearing a light blue lace gown, making her appear exquisite and graceful.

For her safety, Kong Yanzi accompanied her, personally protecting her.

Due to the rumors about the two, the moment they entered, the scene instantly ignited, and after the exclamations, the reporters were frantically snapping photos, unwilling to miss any shots of the two.

Lin Jiamu entered wearing a white sports outfit, his appearance already leaning towards delicate, looking like a sunny young man.

He and Mu Yan sat down in the middle, and the camera focus instantly shifted onto them.

He picked up the microphone and said to the audience, ”Thank you all for attending my new album ’Protecting Dream’ press conference despite your busy schedules. This new album is different from previous ones, featuring twelve songs with a wide range of musical styles, from pop, rock, R&B to jazz, classical music. It’s my first time handling such complex and varied songs.”

A reporter asked, ”Jia Mu, as far as I know, you’ve only prepared this album for about half a year. Isn’t the musical span too rushed for such a short time?”

Another reporter asked, ”There are reports claiming you’ve encountered financial issues, hence the need to release a new album?”

The photographers pointed their cameras at Lin Jiamu, waiting for his answer.

”I know returning to the entertainment industry so quickly makes many think I’m contradicting myself, but for such outstanding music, contradicting myself is worth it. Actually, I only participated in the singing part of this album, the lyrics and music all came from a friend of mine. He’s very young, talented, truly blessed with a natural gift, having never received formal music education, everything stems from self-study.

I remember seeing his lyrics for the first time when he was just seventeen. I thought he was merely passing the time back then, yet from seventeen to twenty-two, he spent five years gradually preparing this album that amazed me.”

The reporters exchanged glances, finding the approach odd, even if someone else wrote the songs, Lin Jiamu didn’t need to be so honest.

At this moment, someone finally noticed Mu Yan beside him. Wasn’t it said that this album is related to Mu Yan?

Could it be Mu Yan’s creation? She previously participated in talent shows and has great vocal skills. But if she were to release an album, why have someone else sing it, why not just sing it herself?

With her popularity and background, her album sales might even surpass Lin Jiamu’s.

”Which teacher is the creator? Did they come today?” a reporter asked.

Lin Jiamu’s expression suddenly became serious, ”I’m sorry, he cannot attend today’s event.”

After he spoke, he looked at Mu Yan beside him, ”But the person he most hoped to hear the album has come.”
