A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 878: Chapter 878: Apology!

Upon hearing the word ”security,” Zhuang Chujiao instantly recalled the scene of being escorted out by security from his villa last time, and her smile faltered.

”Brother Jingheng, I’m just here to see you. How can you treat me like this?” She appeared as if she was about to burst into tears, looking extremely aggrieved.

”Call the police,” Jiang Jingheng said to Lian Jun without even glancing at Zhuang Chujiao, his attitude as cold as ice.

Lian Jun instantly understood the meaning behind those words and grabbed Zhuang Chujiao’s arm, dragging her out.

”What are you doing? Let go of me!” Zhuang Chujiao shouted, struggling.

Unfortunately, Lian Jun was trained, and her strength was negligible. As she struggled, her ten-centimeter high heels slipped, and she twisted her ankle with a crack.

”It hurts, it hurts! My foot hurts so much!” Zhuang Chujiao cried out in pain, tears almost falling.

Lian Jun showed her no sympathy, directly throwing her out of the office, where she fell to the ground, utterly humiliated.

Zhuang Chujiao clutched her foot, glaring venomously at Lian Jun, ”How dare you treat me like this.”

The commotion was so loud that the secretaries at the front desk all looked over.

Lian Jun looked down at her, saying coldly, ”Miss Zhuang, you have illegally entered the president’s office to steal confidential documents, which is considered a crime. I will arrange for security to escort you to the police station.”

”What nonsense are you talking about? I did not!” Zhuang Chujiao protested.

Lian Jun said indifferently, ”Whether you did or not, let Miss Zhuang explain to the police.”

Just then, the elevator doors opened, and security personnel walked out.

He immediately said, ”Thief, take her to the police station.”

”Yes!”

Two security guards came over and lifted Zhuang Chujiao away.

”What are you doing? Do you know who I am?” Zhuang Chujiao shouted, but her arms were pinned, and her foot was in excruciating pain, leaving her unable to struggle.

”Take your filthy hands off me; I’m the eldest daughter of the Zhuang Family, a friend of your president.”

”Brother Jingheng, I was wrong, save me.”

...

No matter how much she screamed, no one paid her any attention, and the secretaries at the front desk remained silent, a sense of crisis surfacing in their hearts.

Especially the secretary who had just let Zhuang Chujiao in; she knew Zhuang Chujiao was the sister of the president’s good friend Zhuang Yi, and Zhuang Chujiao claimed she had an appointment with the president, so she didn’t think much before allowing her passage.

She lowered her head, trying to minimize her presence, when she suddenly felt a shadow approaching and looked up to meet Lian Jun’s indifferent face.

”Assistant Lian, I...”

Lian Jun said coldly, ”Pack up your things, go to the finance department to collect an extra month’s salary, and leave.”

The female secretary was almost in tears upon hearing this, ”Assistant Lian, I...”

Lian Jun said coldly, ”If the confidential documents had been leaked, it wouldn’t have been as simple as just leaving.”

His words were a conclusion to Zhuang Chujiao’s actions—she was a thief.

The female secretary gritted her teeth and responded, ”Yes!”

Lian Jun turned his head to look at the others, saying coldly, ”Is the president’s office a place anyone can enter? Have you forgotten the rules? If we don’t fire people over this, there will be more than just this simple consequence next time it happens.”

”Yes!” The others replied.

Lian Jun, seeing that he had given enough instructions, returned to the office to report, only to hear Jiang Jingheng talking on the phone.

His expression was serious, ”Grandfather, this matter involves company secrets. I can only hand it over to the police. If it damages the Zhuang Family’s reputation, I can only apologize. I will later bring Yanyan to apologize in person.”
