A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 436: Chapter 436: I can give you anything, except him!

Accompanied by Song Cheng’an, Mu Yan made her way to the hospital.

Reporters were already lurking at the hospital entrance, and Mu Yan could feel someone secretly taking photos of her, but she had to pretend she didn’t know.

Upon entering the hospital, this feeling vanished.

Song Cheng’an led her all the way to Zhao Xiyue’s hospital room.

Her agent Zhang Jun was waiting for them at the door.

Zhang Jun looked grateful, ”Young Master Song, Mu Yan, thank you so much for today.”

”President Zhang, you’re too kind. Mu Yan and I are sincerely here to visit Xiyue. You know the relationship between the Song Family and the Zhao Family,” Song Cheng’an said calmly.

”Yes, please come in,” Zhang Jun said as he opened the door.

Song Cheng’an and Mu Yan entered, carrying a fruit basket and flowers.

Zhao Xiyue lay on the hospital bed, her head wrapped in bandages, looking unwell.

Her gaze was fixed on Mu Yan, her dislike evident in her eyes.

Song Cheng’an placed the fruit basket on the table and asked, ”Xiyue, are you feeling better?”

Zhao Xiyue sneered, ”Brother Song, bringing her here is really just to make me uncomfortable, isn’t it?”

”Xiyue, you misunderstood, I invited Brother Song and Mu Yan over,” agent Zhang Jun hurriedly said. ”We’re all friends, it doesn’t look good to cause a scene. How about reconciling?”

Mu Yan’s heart sank slightly; it seemed the one who invited them wasn’t Zhao Xiyue but Zhang Jun.

Zhao Xiyue turned away, her tone sarcastic, ”I don’t have such friends.”

Zhang Jun’s expression shifted slightly, looking at Song Cheng’an and Mu Yan, ”Please don’t mind, Xiyue is just in a bad mood.”

”It’s okay,” Mu Yan shook her head and placed the flowers on the bedside table.

She looked at Zhao Xiyue and said sincerely, ”Hope you get well soon.”

Zhao Xiyue looked at her and sneered, ”Who are you trying to fool? You must be regretting that I didn’t get run over and die, right?”

”Xiyue!” Song Cheng’an gave a low shout.

Zhao Xiyue knew her words were harsh, but thinking about how Jiang Jingheng didn’t care about her life and death last night and instead stayed with this person, a volcano of anger erupted uncontrollably inside her.

She looked at Song Cheng’an, smirking, ”What, is Brother Song going to scold me, the patient, today?”

Song Cheng’an looked helpless, ”I didn’t mean it that way. Since you’re fine, we’ll leave now.”

Mu Yan nodded slightly, preparing to leave with Song Cheng’an.

”Stop!” Zhao Xiyue’s voice suddenly sounded.

Mu Yan paused her steps and turned to look at Zhao Xiyue.

Zhao Xiyue looked at her, eyes full of determination, ”Roles, commercial performances, endorsements, I can give them all to you, except him!”

Mu Yan said in a low voice, ”I should be the one telling you this.”

Zhao Xiyue sneered, ”You’re really boastful. Let’s wait and see.”

Mu Yan frowned, ”Actually, he and I...”

”Shut up, get out!” Zhao Xiyue grabbed the water cup on the table and hurled it at Mu Yan.

With a ”bang”, the cup hit the wall and shattered on the ground.

”Xiyue, what are you doing!” Song Cheng’an said with displeasure on his face.

Zhao Xiyue glared at him, ”Get out, all of you!”

Mu Yan looked at the shattered porcelain pieces on the ground, stayed silent for a moment, and walked out.

If Zhao Xiyue were to know about her marriage with Jiang Jingheng now, she’d probably go crazy.

Forget it, wait until she calms down to tell her.

Song Cheng’an followed her out, comforting her, ”Xiyue has liked Jing Heng for a long time. She just can’t accept it for now. Don’t take it to heart.”

”I understand,” Mu Yan nodded.

If it were her, she wouldn’t be able to calmly bless them either.

In the hospital room, everyone left, Zhao Xiyue took out her phone and made a call.

”Dad, when will the announcement about my engagement to Jing Heng be made public?”

”I want it as soon as possible!”

Zhao Xiyue hung up the phone and took a deep breath. Once they’re engaged, everything will get better!
