A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 421: Chapter 421: If you’re a man, just admit it publicly!

Mu Yan wanted to say that friendship and love aren’t comparable, but seeing his stern expression, she suddenly didn’t know what to say.

Did she feel sorry for Zhao Xiyue in her heart?

It seemed not, and that was what made her feel embarrassed.

In the face of love, even when facing a friend, she never thought of compromising.

Jiang Jingheng looked at her and continued, ”Do you doubt my feelings for you just because someone else likes me?”

”I don’t!” Mu Yan immediately retorted.

She had never doubted his love for her.

Okay, she thought she was making a big deal out of nothing today, worrying him.

But she felt a bit discontent and asked, ”Then why didn’t you tell me Zhao Xiyue likes you?”

If she had known, maybe things wouldn’t have become so strained with Zhao Xiyue.

Jiang Jingheng looked at her, his tone slow, ”Do you think if you told me some guy liked you, I would be happy?”

Mu Yan pursed her lips; given his jealousy, he definitely wouldn’t be happy.

She suddenly understood his meaning; he was afraid she’d be jealous and unhappy, so he kept it from her.

She thought she wasn’t that petty, but he meant well.

She didn’t seem to have any reason to blame him.

Seeing his sister being completely under Jiang Jingheng’s control, Mu Chen was filled with exasperation.

If one day Jiang Jingheng really cheated, she would probably be deceived by him too.

He cleared his throat, unhappily saying, ”Doesn’t that woman know you’re already married? Why is she still clinging to you?”

”My marriage to your sister hasn’t been publicly announced, so she doesn’t know,” Jiang Jingheng answered.

Mu Chen wasn’t pleased hearing this, ”It’s because you’re hiding my sister’s identity that all these issues arise. If you’re a man, you should publicly acknowledge my sister.”

Mu Yan slightly frowned, ”Chenchen!”

Mu Chen remained defiant, ”Sis, I’m serious. You two always being sneaky makes it seem like you’re his secret lover.”

Mu Yan quickly explained, ”It’s not like that...”

”I think Mu Chen makes a good point,” Jiang Jingheng suddenly interrupted her. ”Status matters.”

Mu Yan was a bit speechless, ”He’s just being immature, don’t join him in making trouble.”

She’s a star and his family is wealthy, without his parents’ approval they absolutely couldn’t go public.

Jiang Jingheng chuckled lightly, ”But if I don’t listen to my brother-in-law, he’ll beat me up.”

”He wouldn’t dare!” Mu Yan snorted.

Mu Chen was speechless, ”...”

It turns out he’s become the bad guy.

He figured it out, it’s not Jiang’s unwillingness to go public, it’s his sister’s.

This whole ”cheating” drama was just casually dropped.

Mu Chen still felt a bit uncomfortable, but he didn’t know how to put it.

While Mu Yan was in the bathroom, he said to Jiang Jingheng, ”My sister is a simple person, she believes whatever people say. If one day you don’t love her anymore, I hope you tell her directly, don’t deceive her. She’s not someone who can handle pick-ups and let-downs.”

Jiang Jingheng glanced at him, calmly saying, ”Hearing you say this makes me a bit worried.”

”What?”

”She’s so trusting of everyone, shouldn’t I be worried? If she must believe anyone, she should only believe me.”

Mu Chen was a bit speechless, wasn’t this too domineering?

As her brother, he felt it necessary to warn his very capable brother-in-law about welcoming advances.

He fiercely said, ”If you ever dare betray my sister, do you believe I’d kill you?”

Before Jiang Jingheng could speak, Mu Yan returned from outside with a stern face, saying, ”Chenchen, how can you talk to your brother-in-law like that!”

Mu Chen was speechless, ”...”

What now, he felt like crying, his sister didn’t love him anymore.

Jiang Jingheng held Mu Yan’s hand, looking indifferent, ”It’s fine, I understand Chenchen’s feelings.”

”But he shouldn’t do that,” Mu Yan looked at him, her eyes full of tenderness.

Mu Chen was so angry he could vomit blood, understand my foot.

That Jiang is a total insidious villain!
