A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 404: Chapter 404: Refuse a Toast Only to Drink a Penalty!

Mu Yan turned her head and saw it was Lan Xi.

Today, she wore a light blue dress, her hair tied up, looking pure and sweet.

Mu Yan replied, ”Xiyue invited me.”

Lan Xi looked at her with a strange expression, ”Are you and Sister Xiyue good friends?”

”Yeah.” Mu Yan nodded.

Lan Xi looked at her naive expression, feeling a bit speechless.

Does she not know about Sister Xiyue’s relationship with Brother Jiang?

Mu Yan felt uneasy under her gaze and asked, ”Why are you looking at me like that?”

”Nothing.” Lan Xi said coldly, ”This place is full of mixed crowds, be careful.”

”Thanks for the reminder, I’ll be careful.” Mu Yan smiled slightly.

Lan Xi snorted lightly, ”Don’t misunderstand, I’m just afraid you’ll embarrass Brother Jiang.”

”Yeah, I know.”

Lan Xi, seeing her looking at her with a smile, felt a bit embarrassed and turned back to her friends.

Her friend asked, ”Lan Xi, do you know that Mu Yan?”

”No, I don’t.” Lan Xi said with a scowl.

”Then what were you just talking to her about?”

”She’s Brother Song’s artist, Brother Song asked me to look after her.” Lan Xi said impatiently.

A few girlfriends exchanged confused looks, then you just said you didn’t know her.

Mu Yan felt a bit bored, besides Zhao Xiyue and Lan Xi, she didn’t know anyone here.

She stood in the corner staring at her phone, trying to lower her presence.

”Miss Mu, we meet again, what a coincidence, can I buy you a drink this time?” a male voice suddenly came.

Mu Yan looked up and saw a man about twenty-eight or twenty-nine standing in front of her.

He had a rogue look, with eyes full of bad intentions, giving a very negative impression.

She had some impression of this person, he had troubled her at the IOC anniversary celebration, and at that time, it was Song Cheng’an who came to her rescue.

She said indifferently, ”Sorry, I don’t drink.”

”Is Miss Mu still so ungrateful?” Jiang Yutai said coldly, ”Do you believe I can make you disappear from the entertainment industry with just one word?”

He had always been the one who disregarded women, no one had ever dared to ignore him.

He offered a glass of wine to Mu Yan, arrogantly saying, ”Of course, only if you drink this wine will I consider accepting your apology.”

A trace of displeasure flashed in Mu Yan’s eyes, are all the wealthy heirs this shameless?

She said coldly, ”I didn’t do anything wrong, why should I apologize to you?”

Not far away, a few girls were watching and whispering.

”Look, that Mu Yan seems to be flirting with the Second Young Master Jiang.”

”Tsk, who doesn’t know Second Young Master Jiang is a playboy, her taste is really poor.”

”So what if he’s a playboy, he’s the second young master of the Jiang Family, he’s rich, all these actresses are scrambling to marry into wealthy families, isn’t it all for money?”

...

Lan Xi heard the commotion, looked towards Mu Yan, and saw her with Jiang Yutai, her face instantly turned ugly.

She had told this woman to behave, yet she ended up getting involved with the Jiang family’s second young master.

Where does this leave her Brother Jiang’s face?

Most importantly, this Jiang Yutai is not a decent person at all.

She put down her wine glass and walked over with a stern face.

Jiang Yutai, seeing Mu Yan not comply, was boiling with anger inside and sarcastically said, ”There’s no woman in this world that Jiang Yutai can’t get. If you refuse a toast only to be forced to drink, then I’ll wait for you to strip naked and beg me to take you.”

Mu Yan’s temper couldn’t be contained any longer, with a ”slap” sound, she slapped Jiang Yutai across the face.
