A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 416: Chapter 416: You Are Just a Thief!

Mu Yan looked at Zhao Xiyue with a face full of surprise. Did she know what she was saying?

Zhao Xiyue saw her innocent and pure look, and her rage surged.

It was with that face that she deceived her, making her open up her heart.

But what was the end result? She was left battered and bruised!

She let out a cold laugh, ”What, surprised? Or have I not made it obvious enough?”

Mu Yan gathered her thoughts, looked at her, and asked in a deep voice, ”Why?”

She genuinely did not want to believe Zhao Xiyue would target her, but the fact was right in front of her.

However, she couldn’t think of when she had offended her.

”You ask me why? How dare you ask me why?” Zhao Xiyue sneered, a sharp glint flashing in her eyes.

Mu Yan found this sharp-toothed and harsh Zhao Xiyue too unfamiliar, but it also showed the misunderstanding between them was huge.

She said in a deep voice, ”Xiyue, we’re friends. Any misunderstanding can be explained.”

Zhao Xiyue looked at her, and said sarcastically, ”Friends? I don’t have such shameless friends like you.”

Mu Yan’s expression changed slightly, ”You...”

”Feeling innocent, huh? Then how much more pitiful am I, being kept in the dark and having my loved one stolen by you?” Zhao Xiyue sneered, ”So, put away your hypocritical face, you make me sick.”

Mu Yan felt her head spinning a bit.

She stole Zhao Xiyue’s loved one?

Her loved one is... Jiang Jingheng?

Mu Yan’s face became a complex display, she stared at Zhao Xiyue, full of disbelief, ”You like Jiang Jingheng...”

”That’s right, I like him, I’ve liked him for ten years!” Zhao Xiyue’s eyes were slightly red, filled with the anger of being deceived.

Mu Yan was extremely shocked in her heart, ten years... such a long time.

She recalled when Jiang Jingheng came to the set while shooting ”Pure Consort,” Zhao Xiyue ran to talk to him.

She was even a bit jealous at that time and asked Jiang Jingheng what their relationship was.

Jiang Jingheng said it was nothing, just acquaintances, and she believed it then.

But she didn’t expect that while he might not like Zhao Xiyue, it didn’t mean Zhao Xiyue didn’t like him.

Zhao Xiyue sneered at her, ”If it wasn’t for that night on my birthday when I went out looking for you and saw you two hugging and kissing, I would have never thought my good friend was involved with the one I liked!”

Mu Yan’s mind flashed back to that day Jiang Jingheng had come, Zhao Xiyue’s actions were clearly very happy.

But at that time she was completely immersed in the joy of Jiang Jingheng’s return, not paying any attention.

Zhao Xiyue saw her silence and was even more enraged, ”Were you secretly laughing at how stupid and foolish I was while you were with him, not noticing the secret between you two?”

Mu Yan snapped back to reality, and hurriedly said, ”I didn’t, I really didn’t know you liked him.”

If she had known, she definitely... definitely would have handled it in a better way.

”Do you think by acting innocent I’ll forgive you?” Zhao Xiyue laughed coldly, ”You are a thief, stealing someone else’s beloved thing, a despicable and shameless thief.”

Mu Yan frowned slightly, looking displeased, ”Jiang Jingheng is not a thing!”

Zhao Xiyue’s lips twitched sarcastically, ”What? Going to act like a saint and lecture me? Is this the trick you usually use to coax him?”

Mu Yan felt that the current Zhao Xiyue was like a hedgehog, always poised to attack.

She said in a deep voice, ”Whether you believe it or not, I really only found out today that you like him, now I just want to ask one thing, does he like you?”
