A-List Actress: Paper Marriage but Pampering Billionaire

Chapter 140: Chapter 140 She’s Not Afraid

At this moment, the makeup artists were all very busy, and the contestants were all nervous, so when Mu Yan entered, no one noticed her at all.

It wasn’t until she came out of the fitting room after changing her clothes that she ran into a female contestant.

When she saw Mu Yan, she looked surprised, ”Aren’t you Mu Yan?”

Instantly, everyone’s eyes were on Mu Yan, after all, she was someone with works and popularity.

Mu Yan smiled slightly and said calmly, ”Hello everyone, I’m Mu Yan.”

”Hello!” someone nodded.

Soon, their attention was retracted, as if they hadn’t seen her.

But Mu Yan heard her name being mentioned along with Zhou Lifen, as if someone was saying, wasn’t she an actress? Why did she come to a singer audition, and so on.

She saw an empty seat in front and walked over, ready to sit down.

Suddenly, a girl rushed over and sat in the seat before her.

”I’ve been waiting for a long time, quickly help me with my makeup,” the girl said to the makeup artist next to her.

The makeup artist instinctively looked towards Mu Yan.

Mu Yan nodded to her, ”Let her go first.”

She took a step back, her expression calm, not showing any sign of anger.

Mu Yan wore a long white dress today, and with her good skin, just a light makeup was enough.

Her makeup was done by around 7:30, and after thanking the makeup artist, she left the makeup room.

Just now, a staff member came to tell her she was number five, ten people in total, she was in the middle.

Before the start, she went to the bathroom once.

As soon as she entered the bathroom, she saw Zhou Lifen touching up her lipstick in front of the mirror.

Mu Yan glanced at her and walked inside.

Zhou Lifen chuckled, ”What, now your wings have hardened, and you don’t greet seniors when you see them?”

Mu Yan stopped, turned her head to look at her, and smiled slightly, ”Sister Zhou, long time no see, you’re still as arrogant as before, and it seems there are more wrinkles on your face.”

Zhou Lifen’s expression darkened, her beautiful face full of anger, ”You little brat, what did you say!”

Mu Yan looked at her innocently, ”You’re the one who wanted me to greet you.”

Zhou Lifen gritted her teeth in anger, this little brat’s mouth was becoming sharper.

She suddenly sneered, ”You can only show off now, have you seen the things people are saying about you online? If I were you, I would’ve hidden away long ago, what’s there to sing about? It’s embarrassing!”

”If you’re not embarrassed, why should I be embarrassed?” Mu Yan retorted.

”What do you mean?” Zhou Lifen’s expression turned gloomy.

Mu Yan chuckled, ”What else could it mean, you’re getting on in years but still trying to seduce a man younger than you, what do you think he sees in you?”

”Bitch, shut your mouth,” Zhou Lifen’s face turned livid, repeatedly being hit where it hurt, she couldn’t bear it anymore.

She stormed forward, raising her hand to slap Mu Yan.

”What are you doing!” At the door, Luo Yao’s voice came.

She rushed in front of Mu Yan, looking at Zhou Lifen with vigilance.

”If you dare to hit her, believe me, I’ll call the police, the famous actress wouldn’t want to be in the headlines for assault, would she?”

Zhou Lifen let out a cold snort, she lowered her hand and looked at Mu Yan, her eyes full of malice, ”I’m telling you right here today, as long as I’m around, you can forget about making a name in this circle, want to sing? Dream on, wait to be eliminated!”

She turned around, grabbed the bag on the sink, and left angrily.

Mu Yan’s lips curled up, she was afraid that if she didn’t eliminate her, she would.
