Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2824: Chapter 2824: Not Even a Drop of Soup Left

”However, Jiyun, I see these kids are quite diligent. They’re all practicing cultivation right after eating, not a single one slacks off.”

”I also didn’t quite get used to it when I first arrived here,” Qian Jiyun said.

Anyone who first tastes the meals at Huayan Peak wouldn’t find them delicious. It’s already a relief if they don’t throw up.

Especially those people, all so pampered and spoiled at home. Who among them can endure hardships better than the others?

”You’re right about that. When I first got here, if it weren’t for the Microcosm, I probably would’ve wanted to leave immediately,” An Jiuyue chuckled softly.

Even she, who grew up in the countryside and on a mountainside, wasn’t used to it. Let alone those pampered little darlings, right?

But that one is different. Look at Huang Youxing, it’s not about being unaccustomed, it’s clearly about wanting to climb higher branches to become superior at Huayan Peak.

”But let’s set that aside, it seems like we’ve really overlooked an issue,” she said.

”What issue?”

Qian Jiyun looked at her confusedly, asking.

”Now the meals delivered to these little darlings are fixed in amount and time. The timing isn’t a problem; three meals a day is normal. But with so many people, their appetites must be different, right?

With the same amount of food, some will surely find it insufficient. Shouldn’t Lan Zhiyi pay more attention and maybe add a meal for them?”

She had just recalled this after Wei Na mentioned it to her. Among those people, some are still adolescents, fifteen or sixteen years old, at the age where they can eat a lot.

Just giving them one box of food, could it really be enough?

Upon hearing this, Qian Jiyun fell silent.

It indeed was a problem, considering not everyone has the same appetite.

”I’ll go and discuss this situation with Zhiyi later,” he said.

Meanwhile, as they were discussing this topic, someone on An Zhiyi’s side also came to report this situation.

...

”Lord, do you think we should increase their portions?” the guard collecting the meal boxes from the little darlings asked.

The main issue is that when he went to collect the meal boxes, there wasn’t a single grain of rice or splash of soup left in them, clearly indicating it wasn’t enough for them.

If they were full, who would still clean their boxes so thoroughly, leaving nothing behind?

Listening to the guard, An Zhiyi tapped his index finger lightly on the table, ”In that case, there’s no need to increase the amount of meals, but send each of them a box of pastries every day.”

Currently, their camp isn’t lacking in food, and pastries are part of the daily necessities for every guard, one box per person.

Since they’re already being made, we might as well have the kitchen prepare a few more.

”Okay, I’ll go inform the kitchen right away,” the guard received the order and prepared to leave immediately.

”Wait a moment.”

An Zhiyi called the person back.

”Lord, do you have any other instructions?” the guard turned around and asked.

”That girl’s been too restless. Have Qing Yi warn her. If she leaves the tent recklessly again, send her back to her own tent immediately. Tell her it’s my order,” An Zhiyi commanded coldly, looking at the guard.

Daring to set her sights on her brother-in-law, she shouldn’t blame him for being ruthless. If not for the inability to send her away directly, he wouldn’t want her around for even a moment.

”Understood, Lord, I’ll go tell Qing Yi immediately. It’ll be good for that girl to clear her head,” the guard replied.
