Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2815: Chapter 2815: Spoiled Rotten by Pampering

She put down the herbs in her hands and went over to look at the food.

These were two wooden boxes. Opening the lid, she could see that inside were small compartments holding rice and dishes.

The rice was plain white rice, which smelled delicious, and the dishes included two vegetable dishes, one meat dish, and a soup. It was quite a decent meal. She picked up the one she had opened and returned to her bedside.

”What kind of meal is this, with just a tiny bit of meat? How are we supposed to eat this?”

She had just sat down when she heard the voice of the girl in pink complaining. She had heard quite a lot of complaints before and was used to it by now, letting it go in one ear and out the other.

Regardless of whether the girl in pink was eating or not, she was going to eat. Otherwise, would she starve?

Besides, there was nothing wrong with the food, and this wasn’t even their own camp. Even if it were, they wouldn’t have much more food.

After all, this is Huayan Peak, where survival is already quite tough.

”Yu, are you really going to eat this? What is all this stuff? Can you really eat it? Don’t eat it. Let’s go together to find the lord of Camp Zhan Yun and have him send us some better food.”

She seemed to have forgotten the harsh words she had previously said to Yu and was now trying to coax Yu into joining her in complaining to Lan Zhiyi.

Yu: ”...”

What sin had she committed to end up in the same tent as such a woman?

She thought the girl was already quite demanding in their own camp, needing three to five stir-fried dishes per meal, with meat in every meal, while many other guards often had to make do with dry provisions and a small amount of vegetables.

Who would have thought that there would be another one here wanting to order à la carte?

And she knew full well this girl wasn’t interested in good food; she was clearly wanting to snoop around for news about the inter-plane travelers.

Didn’t she know that the inter-plane travelers wouldn’t be back for another month?

”Go if you want; I think this food is already very good.” She wasn’t about to associate with someone like that. Why not just stay here peacefully for a month?

”You—”

The girl in pink really wanted to curse at Yu for not appreciating kindness.

She had kindly invited her to go together, yet she was being so evasive. Did she want to ascend to heaven?

”Fine, don’t come. I’ll go myself.”

She snorted and, after casting another glance at the food, headed outside the tent.

But as soon as she stepped outside, she saw the pitch-black night. Where were the people who were supposed to protect them? Not a single person was outside, and she suddenly felt a bit scared.

She stopped, biting her lip, then turned to look back at the tent and then at Camp Zhan Yun, which seemed eerie and spooky in the night.

How did it get so dark without realizing it?

”Forget it, I’ll just make do with what’s here today. The chefs must be working really hard. I’ll talk about it tomorrow.” After hesitating outside for a while, she found an excuse for herself and turned back inside.

Yu didn’t even glance up at her, already engrossed in eating.

People like this were just spoiled. She wanted to see if the people at Camp Zhan Yun would actually set up a special kitchen just to cook for her.

What a sweet dream she had.

...

Meanwhile, the alchemist who delivered the meals returned to the kitchen tent in a huff, just in time to run into the other guards returning from delivering food to the little male masters.

”Qing Yi, what’s happened to you? Did those two girls give you trouble?”
