Raising My Children With My Personal Spatial Ability

Chapter 2805: Chapter 2805: They’re All Heroes

”Or else what? Charge into the camp and start a slaughter, only to be wiped out?” Another person sneered and retorted.

He wasn’t angry at the person who just asked the question but at himself. How did he end up in this mess? If he could have held on a little longer, he might have already returned to the planes, living the good life.

Unfortunately, it’s too late to regret now, and there’s no going back.

Given their current status, it’s absolutely impossible for the inter-plane travelers to send them back. If they dared to go to the inter-plane travelers, they would most likely be annihilated.

”Wait for it. News will come soon.”

”How long do we have to wait?”

Upon hearing his words, a few people frowned, showing their discontent.

They are chewing on dry rations here, cold and tasteless. If they have to wait a few days, does that mean they’ll be eating dry rations for days?

What kind of situation is this? Why do they have to suffer such grievances?

In the past, when they were guards, at least they could have a hot meal. Now, they thought they were following the leader for a great cause with promising prospects. But as it turns out, they’re here munching on cold biscuits, not even having any water to drink.

”I say, this assassination just isn’t realistic. We might as well go around different camps, luring people with more profit. After all, those so-called benefits are all fake.”

”What do you mean fake? Don’t talk nonsense.”

A person, who believed he had more experience, glared at the one speaking.

It’s just them here. If the leader overheard these words, what good would it do them? Even if the leader’s not around, you never know if someone might report them.

”Hu, can’t you just shut that mouth of yours? Haven’t you heard of ’disaster stems from the mouth’?”

”What did I say wrong? The leader promised me good things and a bright future, but none of it came true.” Hu said indifferently, seemingly having given up.

They’re doing the most dangerous work, not even as well-off as those watching the plane’s entrance.

But what they’re eating and using is the worst, and they have to dodge and hide every day, fearing they might be discovered and collectively attacked.

Previously, during the mission of killing the people the leader wanted dead, he was chased and hacked at by the guards of that camp. Luckily, he ran fast and wasn’t injured.

Hearing Hu’s words, everyone else fell silent.

They’re all in the same situation; there’s no exception. Risking their lives without any benefits.

Back on the planes, when working for the upper echelons, even when they came to Huayan Peak as guards, at least their families in the planes were taken care of.

But now, they have nothing, and they’ve lost contact with their families. What’s up with that?

”Alright, stop being so downcast. When the master completes the great cause, will we still lack anything? It’s just that the great cause is not yet achieved. When it is, we’ll all be heroes.”

The person said righteously.

Not far from them, on a big tree, An Jiuyue stood on a branch, listening to their conversation, and found it amusing.

So it turns out they were all lured onto a pirate ship. She thought, how can a proper assassination mission end with just one person dead if it failed?
