My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 197: Chapter 197: The Debut Battle of the T2 Lion King

Compared to the intensity of the battle on this side, the T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser was toying with its prey like a cat with a mouse. The T3 Blizzard continuously skirted the edges of the Fire Lizard First Fleet and Seventh Fleet, masterfully maintaining a distance that kept it within engagement range of only a portion of the enemy fleet’s starships.

As for the T3 Blizzard’s bow cannon, it remained silent, its firepower held in reserve.

In contrast, the flagship of the Fire Lizard First Fleet, that T3 Arkham-class Medium Interstellar Battleship, dared only to attempt closing the distance with the T3 Blizzard under the protection of its surrounding escorts. After all, the Fire Lizard Clan Chief had witnessed the destruction of a T3 Arkham by this very T3 interstellar warship before. He valued his life greatly and would not take unnecessary risks.

Therefore, when facing this T3 interstellar warship, he had long since fortified his defensive systems, ensuring his flagship would not be endangered.

Seeing this situation, the T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser did not stubbornly focus on eliminating the enemy fleet’s flagship. Instead, it persistently harassed the Fire Lizard First Fleet, leveraging its own strengths while wielding the threat of its bow cannon—a formidable weapon—to intimidate the opponent.

Zhao Chen was currently observing the T3 Specter-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer enduring the relentless bombardment. Although it possessed star shield technology, it could only defend against attacks from one direction at a time. Even with constant positional adjustments, it could only block a few of the incoming missiles.

The rest all struck its ship hull.

”Warning! Warning! Warning! Port-side hull armor under attack. Hull armor strength remaining at 40%.”

”Warning! Warning! Warning! Multiple hull armor breaches detected. Main starship frame structural strength decreased by 20%!”

”Warning! Warning! Warning! Hull ventral section under attack. Partial hull armor penetrated. Fourteen cabins emergency sealed. Twenty-seven warriors deceased.”

On the bridge, the Fire Lizard commander gripped the arms of his captain’s chair, feeling the constant vibrations shaking his body. His face was pale, a mix of fury and terror.

This was a T3-class starship! Yet, before even reaching the enemy’s front lines, it had come to this.

”Fire! Return fire!” the Fire Lizard commander roared.

”Commander, our secondary cannons are still out of range, and the main cannon has not yet reached effective firing distance...” the adjutant beside him reported.

”I don’t give a damn about effective range right now! Fire!” The Fire Lizard commander’s hysterical outburst was nothing but impotent rage.

In his heart, he had already guessed the fate of his flagship.

Rather than meeting an ignominious end like the flagship of the Eighth Fleet, he wanted his main cannon to fire at least once!

The thought of a T3 interstellar warship being destroyed in battle without firing a single shot was simply too humiliating.

”Fire!” The adjutant had no choice but to relay the firing order.

The main cannon of the T3 Specter-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer activated—a 1500mm caliber medium electromagnetic cannon. After launching a single shell, its owner, the T3 Specter-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer, faced yet another volley of stellar missiles. This time, it could not escape its fate, ultimately being destroyed in a fiery explosion.

Looking at the continuous explosions and the shattered debris, it was clear that most had been hit in their ammunition depots by stellar missiles.

The devastation was simply indescribable.

Meanwhile, the shell that had been entrusted with its master’s hopes did not fail its mission as it flew toward the enemy ship across the way.

In the end, it struck a starship.

On the bridge of a Black Rhino-class Interstellar Heavy Assault Frigate, Ship Number Five, a system alert sounded.

”Alert! Our ship’s frontal hull armor has been attacked. Frontal hull armor strength has decreased by 40%.”

The female captain was stunned for a moment before cursing loudly, ”Damn it! With so many starships out there, they still managed to hit my ship from beyond effective firing range! That’s just toxic!”

What’s more, out of the dozen or so starships on her side, hers was the first to sustain combat damage. The competitive spirit within her was deeply unsatisfied.

But on second thought, a T2 Interstellar Frigate could withstand a direct hit from a T3 interstellar warship’s main cannon—even if it was outside the effective firing range—which was proof enough of just how formidable its armor strength was.

Less than ten minutes into the battle, the first T3 interstellar warship was destroyed.

It was this T3 Specter-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer!

At the same time, the Fire Lizard Fourth Fleet’s more than three hundred starships had charged to the front of Bai Xue’s fleet formation.

However, it was clear that the momentum of these Fire Salamander Tribe starships was noticeably lacking. It seemed they had been frightened by the earlier relentless stellar missile bombardment.

The flagships of two Fire Lizard fleets had been decapitated from long range!

The shock and awe this caused was nothing short of immense!

At this very moment, the ammunition depot of the T2 Lion King-class Heavy Interstellar Missile Ship was also emptied.

Its mission in this battle had come to an end for now, and the starship slowly maneuvered to the rear of the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship.

It became the first starship on the Fierce Dragon Fleet’s side to ’step off the stage.’

”Five hundred stellar missiles, based on construction cost alone, that’s a full three hundred thousand Star Coins. If we’re talking market price, it’d have to be at least five or six million Star Coins,” Zhao Chen muttered to himself, calculating the ’Star Coins’ he had expended in less than ten minutes.

It had to be said, interstellar missile ships really burned through money.

But it also had to be admitted that when used effectively, this type of starship could be incredibly ’cost-efficient.’

Five or six million Star Coins to destroy one enemy T3 interstellar warship and destroy or severely damage nearly a hundred T2 starships?

That was an absolute bargain!

The ensuing combat would now be handed over to the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship and the T2 Black Rhino-class Interstellar Heavy Assault Frigate.

Meanwhile, Charlotte, standing before Zhao Chen, seemed to have a flash of sharp insight in her eyes.

”Change course, heading /, full speed ahead!

Deploy all stellar drones! Prepare stellar missiles and bow cannons!” Charlotte swiftly issued her commands.

The T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser, which had been maneuvering against the Fire Lizard First and Seventh Fleets, now seized a fleeting combat opportunity!

Perhaps due to the terrifying scenes from the other battlefield, the Fire Lizard Seventh Fleet’s formation showed a momentary hesitation, creating a gap in their lines.

Charlotte seized upon this opening, choosing to launch a high-speed assault directly toward the flagship position of the Fire Lizard Seventh Fleet!

”Not good! That T3 starship’s target is the flagship of the Seventh Fleet!” The Fire Lizard Clan Chief’s expression changed.

If, within such a short time, three of the four fleet flagships were destroyed, it would undoubtedly be a massive blow to morale.

He absolutely could not allow such a thing to happen.

”Full speed ahead! Prepare the main cannon and aim at that T3 starship! Fire immediately once it enters attack range!” Without hesitation, the Fire Lizard Clan Chief rushed to aid the Fire Lizard Seventh Fleet.
