My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 176: Chapter 176: T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer

”Huh?” Li Yaqi widened her eyes, unable to believe what she had just heard.

Zhao Chen actually wanted to target the Hurricane Consortium’s T2 Hyena-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer!

This was a model that had dominated the bestseller charts for T2-class interstellar destroyers for ten consecutive years. Even the Imperial Army units responsible for garrisoning various star sectors would periodically purchase batches of the T2 Hyena-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer.

Although the Hurricane Consortium had accumulated wealth through the T2 Hyena-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer and had researched and released other starships, even extending their reach into the T3-class starship market, their Money Tree had always been the T2 Hyena-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer!

It could be described as a towering tree supporting the entire Hurricane Consortium.

Many starship technology groups also wanted to seize a share of this vast T2 interstellar destroyer market.

While T3-class starships offered high profit margins, their prices were exorbitant, with single vessels costing hundreds of millions of Star Coins, resulting in lower sales volumes.

The technical requirements were also extremely high. The number of entities capable of manufacturing T3-class starships could be counted on one hand, with many still needing to procure certain technical components from partners.

Those capable of fully independent production likely numbered fewer than the fingers on one hand.

Within the T2 starship market, T2 carrier starships and T2 interstellar battleships were the most representative models and the dream of many.

But one must remember that dreams sometimes remain just dreams.

In reality, the best-selling starship type was the interstellar destroyer!

Hailed as the versatile all-rounder, followed by the interstellar frigate, and then the stellar battlecruiser.

”This seems almost impossible. Although the T2 Hyena-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer has been on the market for decades, they release updated versions every few years, constantly refreshing the model.

Many have tried to compete for their market share.

But to this day, within the entire Stellar Glory Empire, the Hurricane Consortium holds half of the T2 interstellar destroyer market!” Li Yaqi still considered this an extremely challenging endeavor.

Zhao Chen smiled faintly. ”I’ll contact you again in one day. In the meantime, handle the matters I’ve entrusted to you.”

With that, Zhao Chen left the holographic communication room, leaving Li Yaqi sitting there in stunned confusion.

Could this Zhao Chen really develop a starship capable of seizing the Hurricane Consortium’s market?

If that were truly possible... Li Yaqi actually felt a surge of excitement.

As a businesswoman, what she craved was the thrill of competition in the marketplace.

Zhao Chen opened his eyes, finding himself at his bedroom desk.

How could Zhao Chen not have a starship that surpassed the Hurricane Consortium’s offerings?

He directly opened the System Store interface and began selecting an appropriate starship type.

Since the target was the Hurricane Consortium’s T2 Hyena-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer, naturally it had to be an interstellar destroyer type, and also medium-sized.

Ideally, it would be similar in many aspects but far superior to the T2 Hyena-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer.

Soon, Zhao Chen locked onto his target.

[T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer]

What a coincidence—both starships had names related to dogs.

[Confirm consumption of 300 System Points and four Task Points to exchange for the item ’T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer’]

Confirm exchange!

[Congratulations on obtaining the ’T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer’ Technical Blueprint]

[Your remaining System Points: 7,420]

[Your remaining Task Points: 60]

Soon, the technical blueprint for this T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer appeared in Zhao Chen’s mind. This was undoubtedly a starship capable of completely overwhelming the T2 Hyena-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer.

Seizing this opportunity, Zhao Chen also took a look at T3-class interstellar industrial ships.

The T2 Hammer-class Heavy Interstellar Industrial Ship was gradually becoming insufficient to meet the future demands of deploying T3-class starships. However, without enough T2 Hammer-class Heavy Interstellar Industrial Ships as a foundation, constructing T3-class interstellar industrial ships would be premature.

This could very likely lead to a period of insufficient production capacity.

Therefore, Zhao Chen chose to first mass-produce a batch of T2 Hammer-class Heavy Interstellar Industrial Ships to ensure the most basic production capacity before seeking higher-level T3 interstellar industrial ships.

Soon, Zhao Chen found a suitable T3-class interstellar industrial ship.

However, some of its construction requirements left him somewhat dumbfounded.

First: The unit construction cost was as high as 60 million Star Coins!

This was simply terrifying. The construction cost of the T3 Blizzard-class Light Interstellar Battlecruiser was only 12 million Star Coins. This was four to five times higher!

Even though Zhao Chen was quite wealthy now, he couldn’t build many of these interstellar industrial ships.

Second: If using T2 Hammer-class Heavy Interstellar Industrial Ships to undertake the construction of this T3 interstellar industrial ship, a single ship responsible for the build would require a full year.

Fortunately, multiple T2 Hammer-class Heavy Interstellar Industrial Ships could work together on the construction. In the fastest scenario,

ten T2 Hammer-class Heavy Interstellar Industrial Ships could complete one of these T3 interstellar industrial ships within a month.

Third: The personnel requirement was as high as one thousand people per ship!

This wasn’t just an interstellar ship; it was practically a mobile large-scale starship factory.

Furthermore, based on the known basic data, the capabilities of this T3 interstellar industrial ship even exceeded those of a true starship factory, with production capacity several times greater!

Another issue was that this T3 interstellar industrial ship required a full 18,000 System Points and thirty Task Points.

Zhao Chen currently had enough Task Points, but he was significantly short on System Points!

”It seems I’ll have to wait a bit longer. Once the next Quarterly Mission and Annual Mission are completed, I can exchange for this T3-class starship.

This period will also be a good time to address the shortage of Starship Engineers.” Zhao Chen finalized his future plans.

To build an interstellar fleet, one must possess a massive industrial system.

Of course, a substantial supply of funds is also necessary.

Zhao Chen currently has two lines of operation: one is the overt Governor Chu He, and the other is the covert Li Yaqi.

A two-pronged approach, a double insurance.

This is also why Zhao Chen wanted to help Li Yaqi defeat the Hurricane Consortium. On one hand, it was for revenge; on the other, it was to help Li Yaqi’s North Goose Starship Technology Group expand into the interstellar market more quickly and strengthen her capabilities.

Without further ado, Zhao Chen began editing the technical data for the T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer. After spending several hours, he sent the completed Starship Technical Data to Li Yaqi.
