My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 184: Chapter 184: The Commander Is a Big Liar

The Fire Salamander Tribe’s ground forces, which had been attacking the Dwarf race’s last refuge base, were now staring dumbfoundedly at the sky above.

A combat mech lifted its large head, watching as the T2 Starship that had deployed it transformed into a fireball and plummeted toward the distant ground.

The Fire Salamander pilot inside the mech thought: Everything was fine when we came, but now... we can’t go back?

Meanwhile, the Dwarf warriors within the defensive lines also noticed some strange movements outside.

At the same time, the enemy’s fierce firepower had significantly weakened and gradually ceased.

”What’s going on? Why have the stinky lizards stopped attacking?” a Dwarf warrior cautiously peeked out from behind cover, looking outside.

He discovered that the areas previously occupied by Fire Salamander warriors were now empty.

”Strange, where did they go?” the Dwarf warrior muttered in confusion.

Another Dwarf warrior, still carefully hiding behind cover, warned, ”Be careful, it might be a trick by the stinky lizards.”

”Since when do lizards have tricks? Their brains aren’t even as big as my *!” a Dwarf warrior scoffed, then volunteered to Bagin, ”Chief, let me go out and check. I’ll report back if there’s anything.”

Chief Bagin nodded and handed the Dwarf warrior an alloy shield riddled with bullet holes.

Holding the alloy shield, the Dwarf warrior slowly stepped out from cover. Soon, he reached a spot where he could see the sky.

He stood there, gazing upward, speechless for a long time.

”Xiao Shu, what’s happening outside? Xiao Shu?” Chief Bagin repeatedly called over the communication channel, but aside from heavy breathing, there was no response.

Finally, the Dwarf warrior named Xiao Shu snapped out of it. He swallowed hard and said, ”Chief... you... you should come out and see for yourself... It’s a starship... a T3-class starship!”

A starship?

A T3 interstellar warship?

Could it be that the Fire Salamander Tribe’s T3 Arkham-class Medium Starship Battleship had directly entered the atmosphere?

Chief Bagin was puzzled. He gripped his weapon and stepped out from cover, walking over to the Dwarf warrior named A Shu, who was still standing there in a daze.

When he looked up at the sky, he understood why A Shu was so stunned.

A T3 interstellar warship hovered in the air, its close defense cannons firing continuously. Within a certain radius, Fire Salamander starships fell one after another like rain.

The sporadic attacks from the Fire Salamander Tribe’s starships, even when they directly hit the starship’s armor, failed to cause any significant damage.

In addition, dozens of stellar drones targeted the combat mechs and Fire Salamander ground combat troops on the surface.

The once unstoppable Fire Salamander ground forces were now falling in waves.

The T3 interstellar warship descended like a divine weapon, cleansing the planet of Fire Salamander forces.

”What... what exactly is happening?” More and more Dwarf warriors emerged, staring blankly at the sky.

Boom

Suddenly, a loud roar echoed overhead, and a fireball landed right in front of the Dwarf warriors—it was a T1 Interstellar Warship from the Fire Salamander Tribe...

A Lizard warrior stumbled out of it.

Just as the Dwarf warriors immediately went on alert, a Bullet Curtain directly turned this Lizard warrior into mincemeat.

The Dwarf warriors stared dumbfounded at the Stellar Drone hovering above their heads.

They could clearly see the terrifying cannon mounted on it.

Gulp.

They swallowed hard, not daring to move a muscle.

If that Stellar Drone had any intention, it could easily shred them into mincemeat as well.

The Stellar Drone seemed to scan them briefly, then turned and left, continuing to clear out the surrounding Fire Salamander Tribe warriors.

”That scared me to death...”

”I feel like I almost wet myself; my pants feel cold.”

”That Stellar Drone is definitely T3-level! Its firepower is too fierce—it can easily shatter a T1 Interstellar Warship!”

”That Starship... judging by its Ship Hull, it looks like a T3 Interstellar Cruiser, right?”

Chieftain Bagin stared at the Starship and shook his head. ”No, that’s not an Interstellar Cruiser. It should be an Interstellar Battlecruiser!”

At that moment, the Dwarf warriors noticed the Starship swiftly passing over their heads. After dropping dozens of small black spheres, it sailed back out toward space, breaking through the atmosphere.

Those dozens of small black spheres grew larger and larger in the Dwarf warriors’ vision.

Finally, several loud impacts echoed as they struck the ground.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Some Dwarf warriors lost their balance and fell to the ground.

And those ”small black spheres”—they finally saw their true forms clearly. They were none other than Interstellar Combat Mechs!

Chieftain Bagin watched these black Interstellar Combat Mechs with unease. He had no idea what these mysterious Combat Mechs or that enigmatic T3 Interstellar Battlecruiser were all about.

But one thing he knew for sure: that Starship and the Interstellar Combat Mechs before him represented extremely cutting-edge technological expertise, far beyond what those Fire Salamander Tribe bumpkins could ever access.

”Hey, we’re on the ground now. No need to be scared; you can open your eyes.”

A male voice came from atop one of the Interstellar Combat Mechs.

Only then did some Dwarf warriors notice that standing on the shoulder of that black Interstellar Combat Mech was a man wearing Powered Exoskeleton Combat Armor. Beside his leg was a ”child” whose head only reached his waist.

That ”child” was also wearing a smaller-sized set of Powered Exoskeleton Combat Armor and was clinging tightly to the man’s leg, not daring to let go.

”Are we really on the ground now?” A familiar female voice came from within the ”child’s” Powered Exoskeleton Combat Armor.

Chieftain Bagin’s expression froze.

”We really are on the ground. Would the commander lie to you?”

”Commander... you lied to Annie just now! You said jumping down wasn’t scary at all... Now... now... Annie feels like she’s about to wet herself...

Annie won’t listen to the commander anymore... Commander is a big liar...”

”Didn’t you say you were worried about your parents’ safety and wanted to come down quickly to check?”

”Annie could have taken a Shuttle...”

”Alright, alright, hurry up and get down. Those should be your people, right.

May I ask, who among you is Chief Bagin of the Dwarf race?

Or rather, who among you can contact Chief Bagin.” Zhao Chen held the little one beside him and jumped directly to the ground; the latter part was directed at the dwarf soldiers before him.

The T2 Black Knight-class Light Interstellar Combat Mechs began to vigilantly survey the surroundings, ready to eliminate any combat units of the Fire Salamander Tribe the moment they were spotted.

”I... I am...” Chief Bagin stepped forward shakily, his gaze filled with disbelief as he looked at the ’child’ whose face was concealed by a helmet.

That voice just now... that voice couldn’t be mistaken...

And that name... Annie...
