My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 177: Chapter 177: Toppling the T2 Hyena from Its Sales Throne

Li Yaqi had been feeling restless for nearly an entire day.

She had made several mistakes while handling her work.

”Chairwoman, have you been too tired lately?” her assistant secretary inquired with concern.

Li Yaqi rubbed her temples. It was all because of Zhao Chen, who had left her hanging.

With that matter unresolved, she couldn’t focus on anything else.

”I might indeed be a bit tired. Cancel all my upcoming appointments. I may need to rest for a day.

Unless it’s something extremely important, don’t let anyone disturb me,” Li Yaqi said, leaning back in her office chair.

”Yes,” the assistant secretary nodded, quietly leaving the office and closing the door.

Li Yaqi stared at the virtual screen in front of her, her eyes fixed on her email inbox.

Beep

Suddenly, a message popped up. Li Yaqi instantly perked up, only to find it was something sent by a business partner.

Impatiently, she closed the message and temporarily blocked all accounts except for Zhao Chen’s private one.

Nothing was more important than this matter right now.

After waiting a few more minutes, Li Yaqi finally received a message from that man.

The content was a Starship Technical Blueprint.

Looking at the name:

T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer.

It truly was a medium interstellar destroyer designed to rival the T2 Hyena-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer.

But she wondered if it could genuinely surpass the T2 Hyena-class, after all, the latter had been a best-selling starship for a decade.

Li Yaqi opened the technical blueprint and began examining the detailed specifications and data.

What she saw left her stunned. Her eyes widened, and her breathing gradually grew rapid.

Several hours later.

Li Yaqi had no choice but to send the man a message requesting another meeting. He agreed.

The two appeared in a holographic meeting scene set in a garden.

”Can the specifications in this technical blueprint of yours truly be achieved?” Li Yaqi asked, her eyes burning with intensity as she looked at Zhao Chen.

Zhao Chen nodded.

”Absolutely, without any issues.”

Li Yaqi swallowed hard and asked softly, ”Is this T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer of yours specifically designed to counter the T2 Hyena-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer?”

”You could say that,” Zhao Chen replied casually, taking full credit since no one knew the starship technology blueprint came from the system.

Li Yaqi raised her hand and displayed two simplified starship reports.

It was a direct comparison between the T2 Hyena and the T2 Tibetan Mastiff.

As for the Starship Type, there was no need to elaborate—both were the same type, both medium interstellar destroyers.

In terms of Hull Armor Strength:

T2 Hyena-class: 150–180 units

T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class: 170–200 units

The T2 Tibetan Mastiff came out on top!

In terms of Cruising Speed:

T2 Hyena-class: 43 knot stellar speed

T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class: 50 knot stellar speed

An increase of nearly 15% in speed!

As for Starship Weapons:

T2 Hyena-class: One Medium Pulse Laser Main Cannon, four Medium Electronic Rapid-fire Secondary Cannons, and sixteen Medium Close-in Defense Guns.

T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class: One dual-linked medium pulse laser main cannon, six medium electronic rapid-fire secondary cannons, thirty medium dual-linked close-defense cannons.

It could be said that the weapon types employed by the two were practically identical! Yet the combat capability of the T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class far surpassed that of the T2 Hyena-class!

Even if Zhao Chen claimed that this T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class medium interstellar destroyer wasn’t developed specifically to target the T2 Hyena-class medium interstellar destroyer, no one would believe it.

Moreover, the T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class just happened to surpass the T2 Hyena-class in every single aspect!

That alone would be one thing, but according to Li Yaqi’s understanding, the construction cost of the T2 Hyena-class medium interstellar destroyer was around 200,000 Star Coins, with a typical selling price generally hovering around 4 million Star Coins.

Yet this T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class medium interstellar destroyer provided by Zhao Chen had a construction cost of merely 200,000 Star Coins as well!

Li Yaqi could fully imagine what the outcome would be once this T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class medium interstellar destroyer was promoted to the market.

With every aspect of the T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class medium interstellar destroyer’s performance surpassing that of the T2 Hyena-class medium interstellar destroyer, and the construction costs being completely identical.

Most importantly, the T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class medium interstellar destroyer had just been released, and its pricing was entirely up to Li Yaqi to decide.

She could set the selling price per ship between 3 million and 3.5 million Star Coins.

In that case, how could the T2 Hyena-class medium interstellar destroyer possibly compete with the T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class medium interstellar destroyer?

Starship performance inferior to the opponent’s, and the selling price not even cheaper than the opponent’s?

This was a complete and utter crushing defeat.

And all in your area of expertise.

Perhaps some might say, couldn’t the Hurricane Consortium also lower their prices for sales?

Is starship price reduction something the Hurricane Consortium can just decide to do on a whim?

If it were just finding some random excuse to lower the price by two or three hundred thousand Star Coins, that might be manageable.

But if the T2 Hyena-class medium interstellar destroyer were to have its price slashed by over 20% in one go, then Li Yaqi wouldn’t even need to deal with the Hurricane Consortium herself.

Those clients of the Hurricane Consortium who had just placed orders for the T2 Hyena-class medium interstellar destroyer would be enough to blow the Hurricane Consortium’s roof off!

We buy your starships here, and you start selling them at a discount over there? Are you trying to screw us over?

Therefore, the Hurricane Consortium was in a passive position on all fronts.

This T2 Hyena-class medium interstellar destroyer would completely and utterly fall from its pedestal in the face of this T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class medium interstellar destroyer.

”So, feeling confident enough now to go head-to-head with the Hurricane Consortium?” Zhao Chen looked at Li Yaqi, who had finished analyzing the data, her excited expression impossible to conceal.

Li Yaqi’s eyes blazed like fireworks: ”Within three months, I will complete the production line for this T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class.

Before October, I will stockpile a batch of inventory!

That timing happens to coincide with when the Hurricane Consortium’s latest batch of T2 Hyena-class medium interstellar destroyers goes on sale to the public. I will choose to release this T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class medium interstellar destroyer at the exact same time!”

Zhao Chen revealed a satisfied smile. It was good that Li Yaqi had ambition, daring to directly challenge the Hurricane Consortium.

If she lacked this kind of drive, Zhao Chen might not have continued to invest more effort in cultivating this business prodigy in the future.

”The cooperation for this starship technology will follow the same terms as before. A seventy-thirty split.”

Zhao Chen looked at Li Yaqi with a slight smile. ”I’ll be waiting for your good show.”

Zhao Chen’s image vanished.

But Li Yaqi’s excited state of mind showed no signs of calming down.

She closed her eyes, as if she were already standing at the launch event for the T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer, with the former bestseller, the T2 Tibetan Mastiff-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer, right before her.

Her task was to drag that once-unattainable Starship down from its pedestal.

”Huff... huff...” Li Yaqi’s breathing grew heavy. Such a scenario was something she had never dared to imagine before, but now, excitement coursed through her veins as if her blood were boiling.

The scene of the Tibetan Mastiff-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer versus the Hyena-class Medium Interstellar Destroyer.

She couldn’t wait to witness it.
