My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 46: Chapter 46: If the Living Can’t Be Brought, the Dead Will Do

As the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship entered the atmosphere of Fierce Dragon Prime, units of Stellar Drones were deployed one after another.

On the planetary surface, the combat capability of these Stellar Drones was overwhelmingly dominant.

Ordinary combat mechs were no match for them at all.

They could easily circle the entire planet in just ten minutes!

On the bridge of the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship, a list lay before Zhao Wan’er.

This was the task Zhao Chen had assigned her: after the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship entered Fierce Dragon Prime, she was to ’invite’ everyone on this list to the Zhao family estate.

Zhao Wan’er still remembered Zhao Chen’s words at the time.

”If the living can’t be brought, the dead will do.”

Naturally, this list contained all the families who had supported the Bao and Cui families in this assassination plot.

The Stellar Drones deployed earlier were heading straight for the estates of these families—they were going to ’extend the invitation.’

”Sister Charlotte, I’ll leave command of this starship to you shortly. I’ll be taking a shuttle to the Zhao family estate,” Zhao Wan’er said.

”Understood. I’ll handle things here,” Charlotte nodded. ”But just in case, I’ll arrange a squad of Stellar Drones to follow you remotely and ensure your safety.”

”Alright.”

Zhao Wan’er left the bridge and headed to the hangar to board a shuttle.

A shuttle was essentially a small stellar transport ship, typically accommodating three to ten people, with very limited cargo space and incapable of long-distance interstellar voyages.

However, since starships could not land after entering a planet’s atmosphere, shuttles were usually used to reach the final destination.

Shuttles were small, the smallest being about the size of a car, and they fit easily within starships.

Now, Zhao Wan’er piloted the shuttle away from the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship. Gazing at the familiar scenery of the planet’s surface below, she soon arrived at a secluded mountain range.

In the distance, she could see an estate nestled among the mountains, enveloped by a shimmering curtain of light.

That was her destination.

The Zhao family estate.

Zhao Wan’er’s shuttle hovered just outside the light curtain. Inside, rows of combat mechs aimed their weapons directly at her.

”I am Zhao Wan’er, the Third Miss of the Zhao family. The situation is now under our control. You may deactivate the energy shield,” Zhao Wan’er announced through the shuttle’s loudspeaker.

But there was no response from within.

It seemed they still doubted Zhao Wan’er’s identity.

With no other choice, Zhao Wan’er activated the auto-hover mode, opened the shuttle’s front canopy, and stood up, allowing those inside the light curtain to see her clearly.

Before long, the light curtain descended.

”It really is the Third Miss!”

”The Third Miss has returned?”

”Just now, I saw the Third Miss’s shuttle flying down from that carrier starship. Could that be reinforcements she brought?”

In the courtyard of the Zhao family estate, the frightened Zhao family members were now filled with surprise and confusion, unsure of what was happening.

Seeing the energy shield deactivated, Zhao Wan’er piloted the shuttle directly into the courtyard of the Zhao family estate.

She stepped out of the shuttle.

The Zhao family members immediately gathered around her.

”Miss Wan’er, what on earth is going on?”

”What’s the deal with that carrier starship?”

”Third Miss, something major has happened in our Fierce Dragon Star System! The Bao and Cui families are planning to rebel and even attempted to attack you!”

Zhao Wan’er looked at the Zhao family members crowding around her and said directly, ”The situation is basically under control now. As long as everyone stays within the Zhao family estate, there is no danger.”

”Wan’er, what exactly is happening? I heard that the Bao and Cui families hired an interstellar pirate fleet to attack you and Chen’er. How did you end up here? Didn’t you encounter that interstellar pirate fleet?” Old Madam Zhao walked out, leaning on her dragon-headed cane. The Zhao family members who had been chattering around Zhao Wan’er all wisely fell silent.

”My brother and I piloted two starships. In the vicinity of Longwei Star, we completely annihilated that interstellar pirate fleet,” Zhao Wan’er stated.

Upon hearing this, the entire Zhao family erupted in commotion.

”That interstellar pirate fleet was annihilated?”

”I heard that pirate fleet had a full thirty-five starships, including five starships. And just two starships managed to wipe them out?”

”How is that possible...”

Most people did not believe Zhao Wan’er’s words.

In truth, if she hadn’t experienced it herself, Zhao Wan’er probably wouldn’t have believed such a claim either.

”There’s no time to explain now. My brother is currently commanding the T2 Zero Blizzard outside Fierce Dragon Prime, clearing out the starships allied with the Bao and Cui families. He ordered me to take command of the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship to secure Fierce Dragon Prime first. Second Grandmother, please rest assured, everything is under our control,” Zhao Wan’er said respectfully, looking at Old Madam Zhao before her.

In terms of status, Old Madam Zhao was actually higher than Lord Zhao Chen himself. She was the biological younger sister of Zhao Chen’s grandfather. However, due to personal reasons, she never married and had lived to this day, still in good health.

”Chen’er is back too? And commanding starships in battle?” Old Madam Zhao exclaimed in surprise.

The expressions of the surrounding Zhao family members also showed astonishment.

After all, everyone in the Fierce Dragon Star System knew him as the Waste Baron, capable of nothing more than reading a few books. Now he was commanding starships in battle? That was no joke.

Zhao Wan’er noticed the looks from those around her, her expression darkening slightly.

”Second Grandmother, please wait a moment. My brother will be here soon,” Zhao Wan’er said.

They waited for about half an hour.

Then, everyone witnessed an astonishing sight.

Two more starships plummeted simultaneously from beyond the atmosphere, their hulls burning and showing signs of damage in multiple places. One of them even had a clearly visible large hole in its hull.

”Those look like the Bao and Cui families’ starships! A T2 Hyena-class Medium Stellar Destroyer and a T2 Gray Wolf-class Light Interstellar Cruiser!” someone recognized the two vessels and cried out in shock.

As the two starships descended, they crashed into a desert and a mountain range respectively. The impact of their explosions created powerful shockwaves, but they did not affect the Zhao family estate.

While the Zhao family was still reeling from this event, a shuttle, larger than the one Zhao Wan’er had arrived in, descended upon the Zhao estate unnoticed.

The hatch opened.

A squad of female soldiers in combat suits emerged first, followed by a man whom every Zhao family member present knew all too well.

Baron of the Fierce Dragon Star System, Zhao Chen.

Female soldiers armed with laser rifles escorted Zhao Chen through the crowd of Zhao family members. Their sharp, murderous gazes made the Zhao family instinctively part a path.

Ignoring the other Zhao family members, Zhao Chen walked straight to Old Madam Zhao, knelt on one knee, and clasped his fists. ”Your unworthy descendant, Zhao Chen, has arrived late, causing Second Grandmother distress.”
