My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 36: Chapter 36: Interstellar Industrial Ship

The Interstellar Industrial Ship.

It is a type of support-type starship, also known by another name: the Interstellar Mobile Factory!

As the name suggests, the Interstellar Industrial Ship can perform most industrial production tasks and can even be used to manufacture starships.

Zhao Chen had been thinking about interstellar industry for a while now. Without this foundation, he would have to rent workshops at starports every time he wanted to produce a starship.

Not only was it inconvenient, but it was also unsafe.

If he could have his own interstellar industry, all these troubles would disappear.

And now, Zhao Chen had the opportunity to own an Interstellar Industrial Ship!

This meant that as long as he had raw materials and technology, Zhao Chen could produce starships anytime, anywhere.

Building an interstellar fleet belonging to Zhao Chen was no longer a dream!

Zhao Chen examined the data of this T2 Hammer-class Heavy Interstellar Industrial Ship. Its size was even larger than that of the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship.

Its weaponry was pitifully sparse, as it was not a combat-type starship, equipped only with the most basic defensive firepower.

But when he looked at its core function—the interstellar industry aspect—Zhao Chen nearly drooled.

This was a semi-intelligent Interstellar Industrial Ship, requiring only a small crew to carry out production tasks, and its production efficiency was extremely high!

For example, the recently completed T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship took Zhao Chen two months of non-stop work, renting the best starship workshop at the Arctic Fox Starport.

However, if he used the T2 Hammer-class Heavy Interstellar Industrial Ship, even without Zhao Chen’s presence, as long as he input the blueprint technology, the starship system would distribute tasks to various manufacturing stations. It could also employ a confidential production method, where personnel at each station would only know the technical details of their specific task.

Moreover, the most critical technology could be handled by Zhao Chen himself.

This would significantly reduce the workload!

Additionally, this Interstellar Industrial Ship could reduce the wastage rate of raw materials by 20%!

That meant that out of the original 1.5 million Star Coins’ worth of raw materials, nearly 300,000 Star Coins could be saved.

This was undoubtedly the most impressive T2 Interstellar Industrial Ship known to date.

With it, Zhao Chen would be like a tiger with wings.

”I must build one! I absolutely must!” Zhao Chen’s eyes gleamed with red light.

But after calculating the construction cost, Zhao Chen was dumbfounded.

The cost for a single ship was 2 million Star Coins!

”Damn, that’s even more expensive than the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship!” Zhao Chen glanced at his account.

He still had 1.9 million Star Coins left. Although he had paid Charlotte tens of thousands to purchase half-beast slaves, he still had over 1.8 million.

That left a gap of over 200,000 Star Coins.

And that didn’t even include the cost of renting starport starship workshops.

On top of that, he needed some reserve funds for the future maintenance of the Zero Blizzard and the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship.

With all this calculated, Zhao Chen realized he needed at least 2.5 million Star Coins to even consider building this T2 Hammer-class Heavy Interstellar Industrial Ship.

”Running out of money again.” Zhao Chen scratched his head. Building starships really was a money-burning business.

That’s why they always said starships were toys for the rich.

”What should I do about this shortfall? Go find Li Yaqi to sell another starship? But she currently has one model in production and won’t need a second one anytime soon.

Find other starship dealers? What if I attract attention from forces I can’t afford to provoke right now? Even in elementary school, we learned the saying ’a commoner is innocent, but possessing a treasure makes him guilty.’” Zhao Chen frowned.

As he pondered, he suddenly slapped his own forehead.

The money was right there waiting for him—how could he have forgotten about this?

Those nobles in the Fierce Dragon Star System each had considerable family fortunes. Although the Fierce Dragon Star System was poor, that didn’t stop these nobles from plundering and hoarding wealth.

A cold smile curled at the corners of Zhao Chen’s mouth.

Besides the starship technology reward, Zhao Chen had received three other rewards.

[Obtained 5 Task Points]

[Obtained 500 System Points]

[Obtained T1 Super Soldier Serum]

The Task Points and System Points went without saying—they perfectly filled Zhao Chen’s needs.

But the third reward caught Zhao Chen’s attention.

T1 Super Soldier Serum?

[T1 Super Soldier Serum: A serum that can modify the human body. Administer by direct injection.]

Huh?

Just that simple sentence?

This description might as well not exist. Anyone could tell from the name that it modifies the human body.

Zhao Chen was speechless, but since it came from the System, it shouldn’t be a problem.

Besides, his current body was indeed too weak. Over the past two months of work, he had fainted five times.

When he used the Military Sleep Chamber before, he had made a complete fool of himself in front of Zhao Wan’er.

He was a man destined to conquer the stars—how could he be so weak!

Without another word, Zhao Chen retrieved the serum from the System Warehouse.

Immediately, a cylindrical vial about twenty centimeters long appeared in his hand, containing a faint blue glowing liquid.

Zhao Chen swallowed hard, silently thinking: System, you won’t screw me over, right...

With that, he raised the needle and plunged it directly into his arm.

In one second, all the blue liquid in the serum had been injected.

”No feeling?” Zhao Chen was puzzled.

But the next second, his pupils dilated. It felt as if every cell in his body was exploding. He collapsed to the ground in agony, wanting to scream, but found his throat seemed blocked—he couldn’t make a sound.

To Zhao Chen, this sensation felt as if it lasted an entire century.

”Huff... huff...” Zhao Chen gasped heavily as he sat up abruptly. The discomfort in his body had vanished.

He glanced at the time—only three minutes had passed.

He touched his body. Not only was there no pain, but even the previous exhaustion had completely disappeared.

Zhao Chen stood up and summoned a mirror, looking at his reflection.

His face seemed more sharply defined now.

Lifting his shirt, his previously flat stomach now had abdominal muscles, and even his arms had developed biceps.

Zhao Chen tried throwing a punch—he could hear the sound of it cutting through the air. He tried jumping—he could easily touch the ceiling.

Excited, Zhao Chen started doing push-ups. Without any pressure at all, he did five hundred in one go and didn’t feel tired in the slightest.

”Have I become a superhuman?” Zhao Chen was overjoyed.

This T1 Super Soldier Serum really works.

Wait a minute...

If there’s T1, does that mean there’s T2?

Zhao Chen seemed to think of something and opened the System Store.

First, he searched through the T1 Product section and actually found the T1 Super Soldier Serum he had just used.

[T1 Super Soldier Serum: Requires 1 Task Point and 30 System Points]

So it’s available in the System Store.

It’s just that when he browsed before, Zhao Chen was only looking at Starship blueprints and didn’t pay attention to these items.

Moreover, at that time, his precious Task Points wouldn’t have been spent on this.

Zhao Chen then checked the T2 series of products and quickly found his target.

[T2 Super Soldier Serum: Requires 3 Task Points and 600 System Points]

”I’m not in a hurry to improve my physical fitness right now; the current situation is sufficient. I can exchange for it later when I’m more well-off.” Seeing the price, Zhao Chen decided to set it aside for now.

Since the fatigue was gone, he went directly to the bridge of the Zero Blizzard.

”Hello, Captain.” The half-beast female starship crew on the bridge immediately greeted him. She looked at the captain cautiously, noticing that he seemed a bit different today.

He was... taller and more handsome than before!

Sitting in the captain’s chair, Zhao Chen contacted the bridge of the T2 Queen Bee-class Heavy Carrier Starship.

A video window appeared showing Zhao Wan’er and Charlotte.

”Why aren’t you resting?” Zhao Wan’er asked, looking at Zhao Chen.

Zhao Chen replied, ”I’m not very tired right now. How are the preparations on your starship going?”

”It’ll take about half a day to finish the preparations,” Charlotte answered.

”Alright, Charlotte, go and tally the living supplies and military supplies we need. Bring everything before we depart. The Zero Blizzard will accompany you during the sea trials. Once the trials are complete, we’ll set off for the Fierce Dragon Star System,” Zhao Chen said.

”So urgent?” Zhao Wan’er was somewhat surprised.

Zhao Chen smirked and said, ”We’ve already kept them waiting for two months for this Hongmen Banquet. Any later wouldn’t be appropriate.”

He was eager to go collect his ’wealth’.
