My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 31: Chapter 31: The First Warp Navigation of Zero Blizzard

Someone in the Fierce Dragon Star System is trying to kill me?

Zhao Chen frowned. This sudden news disrupted his original plans.

”This person is a trusted undercover agent my sister left in the Fierce Dragon Star System. Only my sister and I know her identity, so the information she sent must be true. I think we should consider not returning to our territory for now!” Zhao Wan’er said with concern.

”Can we contact this person?” Zhao Chen asked.

Zhao Wan’er thought for a moment and replied, ”I have a private communication channel to reach her, but I can’t guarantee she’ll respond promptly.”

Zhao Chen fell into deep thought. This return to his territory wasn’t as simple as going home for a break. It was a strategic move for his future development.

To strengthen himself and possess the power to protect himself, he needed a solid foundation. The Fierce Dragon Star System was a ready-made option.

However, due to decades of decline, the internal situation in the Fierce Dragon Star System was both chaotic and complex. Zhao Chen intended to use this return as an opportunity to thoroughly reorganize the Fierce Dragon Star System and lay the groundwork for his future plans.

But if he canceled this plan because of this sudden news...

In three months, the Academy would start its new term. The following year’s academic schedule would make it difficult for him to find time to deal with matters in the Fierce Dragon Star System. Delaying now could mean postponing everything for a year or more.

Zhao Chen didn’t have that much time to waste.

”We are going home,” Zhao Chen said seriously.

Zhao Wan’er stomped her foot in frustration. ”Hey, are you out of your mind? You know there’s a group in the Fierce Dragon Star System targeting us, and you still want to go back and deliver yourself to them?”

”Who said we’re going back to deliver ourselves?” Zhao Chen smirked coldly. ”The situation in our Fierce Dragon Star System has always been chaotic. Because our Zhao family has grown weak, many nobles within the star system, big and small, don’t take us seriously.”

”To truly control the Fierce Dragon Star System, we must eliminate those hidden tumors and poisons. Originally, I planned to proceed step by step. But since they’re giving me this opportunity now, why should I waste it?”

Zhao Wan’er understood Zhao Chen’s intention. He wanted to use this opportunity to uproot the forces behind the assassination attempt and completely reshuffle the power structure in the Fierce Dragon Star System.

”I don’t oppose your idea, but you need to be realistic about our capabilities. We don’t know how the enemy is positioned, and all we have are our two T2 Starships. Going back now would be like sending sheep into a tiger’s den!” Zhao Wan’er remained worried about their safety.

”We will return, but not immediately. You contact the person you mentioned and try to gather more information from her. For example, who organized this assassination attempt, what plans they have, and whether they’ve assembled an interstellar fleet,” Zhao Chen said seriously.

”That’s not a problem, but our strength...”

Zhao Chen smiled confidently. ”Don’t worry, I’ll be prepared.”

He raised his hand and opened a Star Map. He marked his current location and the position of the Fierce Dragon Star System, then began searching between the two points.

Finally, he selected a location.

Pointing at the spot, Zhao Chen declared, ”We’re going here first!”

Arctic Fox Starport

Zhao Wan’er stared at the destination name, looking at Zhao Chen in surprise. ”Why are we going there?”

”You’ll know when we get there.”

”Shouldn’t I bring my T2 Fire Crow?”

”No need.”

”Zhao Chen, what exactly are you planning to do!”

”Build a starship.”

”??”

...

After some preparations, the Zero Blizzard officially departed from the North Star Starship Military Academy’s starport.

Before this, Zhao Chen had also received two transfers into his accounts.

Zhang Haoran’s five hundred thousand Star Coins and Li Yaqi’s three million Star Coins.

The former was his Academy account, while the latter was an account Zhao Chen had secretly opened before selling the starship technology, precisely to conceal his identity.

Originally, the plan was to depart on July 1st.

But due to the situation in the Fierce Dragon Star System, Zhao Chen needed to hurry, so they set off two days early. He sent a farewell message to Li Wei, and Zhao Wan’er also hastily bid farewell to Senior Su Lan and others.

”The coordinates are located at the Arctic Fox Starport in the Arctic Fox Star System. We will first head to the Stargate in the North Star Star System, then travel through the Stargate to the Stargate in the Arctic Fox Star System, and finally arrive at the Arctic Fox Starport.

The journey is expected to take five hours.” Deputy Captain Charlotte stood beside the captain’s chair, reporting the flight plan she had prepared to Zhao Chen.

”You handle it. I just want to reach the Arctic Fox Starport in the shortest possible time,” Zhao Chen said, sitting in the captain’s chair.

Beside him was Zhao Wan’er, still fuming. She was angry that Zhao Chen wouldn’t explain clearly what he intended to do.

”Next, we will activate the Level Three Warp Drive. During the warp navigation phase, all crew members will enter deep-sea navigation mode.

All crew members will enter hibernation pods,” Deputy Captain Charlotte announced.

Zhao Chen nodded in agreement.

To reach the starport in the North Star Star System as quickly as possible, using the warp drive was essential.

A starship typically has two to three sets of engine systems for navigation. One is the conventional engine, such as the one that allows the Zero Blizzard to travel at 100 Knots Stellar Speed.

The other, most commonly used, is the warp drive.

The warp drive is generally used for long-distance voyages, enabling extreme acceleration of the starship. When using the warp drive, most starships must enter deep-sea mode; otherwise, the side effects of warp navigation would cause any crew members not in recuperation pods to die instantly.

The human body cannot withstand warp navigation.

Combat is also impossible during the warp navigation phase.

Warp drives are classified by speed.

From low to high, they are divided into Levels One through Nine.

Zhao Chen’s Zero Blizzard was equipped with a Level Three Warp Drive.

”Warp drive course pre-set. We will now enter the acceleration phase. In ten minutes, we will begin warp navigation.

All crew members must enter deep-sea mode within ten minutes!

I repeat, all crew members must enter deep-sea mode within ten minutes!”

At this moment, Deputy Captain Charlotte’s voice echoed throughout the starship’s various stations, accompanied by a faint purple glow.

This was a warning signal before entering warp navigation.

Whirr, whirr, whirr

At that moment, several hibernation pods appeared beside Zhao Chen’s captain’s chair.

They were vertical, cylindrical transparent chambers.

Placing hibernation pods on the bridge allowed crew members to return to their posts as quickly as possible after exiting warp navigation mode, restoring combat readiness.

This was crucial in actual combat situations.

Especially during combat behind enemy lines, this severely tests the reaction capabilities of a Starship’s crew.

Zhao Chen stood inside the hibernation pod at this moment, looking at Zhao Wan’er who had entered the adjacent pod. ”Don’t be nervous. It’ll be over in the blink of an eye.”

”Please, I’ve completed fourth-year combat missions at the Academy. I don’t need you to teach me.” Zhao Wan’er rolled her eyes and then activated her hibernation pod herself.

A transparent cover sealed the entire hibernation pod, and a pale blue liquid was injected.

Inside this hibernation fluid, a person can breathe independently while also being hypnotized.

Zhao Wan’er had already closed her eyes, as serene as a sleeping beauty underwater.

Zhao Chen did not immediately enter hibernation. He looked at Charlotte, who was still waiting at the control panel.

At this time, most of the power supply to the Zero Blizzard had been cut off, with nearly all energy directed to the Warp Drive. The Starship itself maintained only a low-power state.

With three minutes left until the ten-minute mark, Charlotte turned to look at Zhao Chen and reported, ”Report: Out of the entire crew of 102, 100 have entered hibernation. We will officially enter the warp navigation phase in three minutes.”

”It’s our turn.” Zhao Chen crossed his arms over his chest, took a deep breath, and activated his hibernation pod.

The pale blue liquid began to cover his entire body. There was no discomfort; instead, it made Zhao Chen feel very relaxed. Finally, he fell into a deep sleep.
