My All-Female Fleet Swept the Galaxy

Chapter 20: Chapter 20: You’re the One! Carrier Starship

Li Wei walked through the starship corridor, looking at the somewhat narrow and dilapidated space, feeling rather disappointed.

”This of yours...”

”Are you disappointed? After all, this was assembled from three starships with nearly a century of history. In terms of comfort and aesthetics, it naturally can’t compare to modern starships.” Zhao Chen understood Li Wei’s thoughts perfectly.

After touring for over ten minutes, Li Wei left the Zero Blizzard with Zhao Chen.

”It’s much more comfortable to look at from the outside. But, old Zhao, why are all your starship crew beastwomen? I didn’t know you had a taste for that...

Although there’s nothing wrong with personal preferences, starship combat is no small matter.” Li Wei looked at Zhao Chen, offering a reminder.

Zhao Chen rolled his eyes. ”I’m not as depraved as you think. There’s a reason I recruited these beastwomen crew members.

Besides, they were originally female crew members, but due to certain circumstances, they ended up in this situation.

Didn’t you see the Zero Blizzard’s battle earlier? Could a bunch of pretty faces have fought such an impressive battle?”

”That makes sense. By the way, you mentioned earlier that you needed my help with something. What is it?” Li Wei brought up Zhao Chen’s previous request.

Zhao Chen got down to business. ”Your Li family is involved in interstellar trade, right? I heard you’ve expanded into starship arms trade in recent years.

Coincidentally, I have a T1 starship I developed myself. I’d like you to discreetly share this technical blueprint with your family to see if there’s any interest in purchasing it.

But it must be done secretly because I don’t want too many people to know about me, you understand? Even if your father asks, don’t reveal my identity!”

”You want to sell a T1 starship you developed yourself?” Li Wei was startled. ”You can develop starships on your own?”

But then he reconsidered. If Zhao Chen could assemble three old starships into one with explosive combat capability, developing a T1 starship wasn’t impossible.

After all, the technical difficulty of T1 starships isn’t that high. Some of their technical blueprints are even publicly available for learning purposes.

”I don’t have a say in our family’s business. I can’t guarantee whether they’ll buy your starship.

But I can mention it to my sister. She was the one who proposed expanding into starship arms trade and is now the person in charge of this business within our group.

However... our company isn’t optimistic about this line of business right now. We’ve been operating at a loss for four consecutive years.

Even a T1 starship originally planned for release this year has been delayed indefinitely.

The company’s board of shareholders is already putting pressure to abandon this business.” Li Wei explained.

Zhao Chen patted Li Wei’s shoulder and handed him a thumb-sized storage device. ”Whether a partnership materializes isn’t important.

I just need this to be seen by someone in your Li family.

Encrypt this data and send it directly to your sister. Remember! Keep my identity confidential! If your sister asks, just make up an excuse.”

”Does this contain the technical blueprint for that T1 starship you mentioned? You’re just handing it over to me so casually? Is network transmission secure? Should I deliver it to my sister in person?

I’m going home in a few days anyway since the holiday is coming up.”

”I’ll tell you the results next semester,” Li Wei said cautiously.

Although it was only the blueprint data for a T1 starship, it was, after all, Zhao Chen’s hard work.

This was considered commercial confidentiality; usually, it would be delivered in person by personnel, and rarely transmitted over the network.

”No problem, I’ve already encrypted the files inside. Once you send them over, let me know, and I’ll decrypt them remotely before they can be viewed. You can go back and send them now; I’m in a hurry,” Zhao Chen said.

Zhao Chen couldn’t wait until the end of the semester. His plan was to use this T1 starship technology to exchange for a sum of funds, then find a way to build a real System Starship.

Although the Zero Blizzard was excellent, it was, after all, just an Assembled Starship.

”If that’s the case, then we’ll do as you say... but don’t get your hopes up too high,” Li Wei warned Zhao Chen in advance, afraid that Zhao Chen’s Technical Blueprint might be rejected by his older sister, hurting Zhao Chen’s pride.

His older sister’s personality was such that in business matters, she recognized no family ties.

If she wasn’t satisfied with something, she would absolutely refuse it.

”It’s fine, just do as I say. You don’t need to worry about what happens afterward,” Zhao Chen said with a smile.

As long as Zhao Chen’s older sister wasn’t a fool, she would definitely recognize the value of this starship.

”Alright.”

Li Wei bid farewell to Zhao Chen and returned to his dormitory. As Zhao Chen had requested, he sent the data from the storage device to his older sister.

The file content was quite large, and since it involved cross-galaxy information transmission, it would take about a day.

Li Wei sent a text message to his older sister in advance, briefly mentioning the matter.

Zhao Chen also returned to his dormitory first. Although he now had a captain’s quarters on the Zero Blizzard, many of his belongings were still in the dormitory, and he needed to move them to the Zero Blizzard.

Coincidentally, the semester was about to end, so he wouldn’t need to book tickets; he could simply return to his territory aboard the Zero Blizzard.

The dormitory was a single room, and its space, of course, couldn’t compare to the captain’s quarters.

Zhao Chen sat on the single bed and opened the system interface, entering the store upgrade page.

[T1 System Store Upgrade Conditions:

First Requirement: Exchange for one T1 Level product (Completed)

Second Requirement: Complete one D-level System Mission (Completed)

Third Requirement: Consume 100 System Points to upgrade the store (The first two requirements are completed; upgrade can be performed at any time)]

Without hesitation, Zhao Chen clicked to upgrade the System Store.

[Confirm consumption of 100 System Points to upgrade the T1 store to the T2 store]

’Confirm’

[Consumed 100 System Points. T1 store upgraded to T2 store]

[Your remaining System Points: 250 points]

[Congratulations on unlocking the T2 series of products in the System Store. You have obtained one opportunity to exchange for any product without requiring Task Points]

An unexpected surprise appeared!

Originally, Zhao Chen had been wondering how to obtain more Task Points to conveniently exchange for a T2 Starship.

After all, the System Store stipulated that exchanging for products required corresponding Task Points.

When Zhao Chen checked the T2 series products now, he found that three Task Points were still needed.

Given Zhao Chen’s situation, he had no idea how long it would take to accumulate those three Task Points.

It seemed that the higher the level of the product, the more System Points it consumed, and the more Task Points were required as well.

Zhao Chen glanced at the requirements for upgrading the T2 store to T3: complete two C-level missions, exchange for two T2 system items, and spend 2000 System Points. The difficulty had increased significantly.

For now, he didn’t have the capability to consider all that—focusing on the main task was more important.

And the main task, of course, was choosing a starship!

”Let me see which one will be our first real starship,” Zhao Chen began carefully selecting, taking it even more seriously than before.

Because this time, the choice would be his first true starship in every sense.

The Zero Blizzard could only be considered half of a first ship.

Should it be a Stellar Destroyer... or a Stellar Cruiser... or perhaps an Interstellar Battleship?

Zhao Chen weighed his options left and right.

Finally, his eyes landed on one choice.

T2... Carrier Starship...

That’s the one!
