Journey to Planar World

”Hi hi hi! Long time no see, everyone! How are you all doing? Healthy? You’re living colorful lives, right?”

”Some of you recently had both your women give birth and became a father!”

”Some of you were murdered and died, only to rise from the grave! And so many other exciting lives that ordinary people couldn’t possibly imagine!”

Without even needing to open his eyes, Charlie could already guess the owner of that eccentric voice.

(So, the next Quest begins? Haaah... When I think about it carefully, the frequency of my visits to this Void Sanctuary is much higher than my entries into the Dungeon.)

(Too many unexpected things keep happening, causing me to constantly procrastinate on starting an expedition.)

Thinking about his pile of messy plans, Charlie slowly opened his eyes.

In front of him, standing in the center of a large round table surrounded by ten chairs, appeared two loli figures who presented completely opposite impressions.

The first loli stood with a flat expression that was incredibly cold. It wasn’t because she was arrogant, but rather her basic nature simply did not permit her to care about anyone in the entire infinite multiverse. To her, even entities called gods were merely inferior beings.

She was Alaya, the personification of the collective consciousness of sentient beings.

Beside her, the second loli looked so cheerful and seemed as if she could get along with anyone. Clearly, she was the source of the noise from earlier.

She was Gaia, the personification of the collective consciousness of the planet that sustains life.

”Geez... You guys are so boring~”

Seeing no reaction from the Saviors, Gaia puffed out her cheeks in annoyance. She turned her head away and sulked like a child who wasn’t being given attention.

”Cough... Gaia, can you be a bit serious?”

The sound of a cough came from Chair III. Miguel, who sat there, looked extremely agitated. His breath was still slightly labored, and a bloodthirsty aura still enveloped his body.

”Even though Quests always come suddenly, I am currently doing something very important. So, can we please get started immediately?” he said in an impatient tone.

At this moment, in his own world, Miguel was supposed to be in the middle of a raging war. He was on the front lines of the most legendary battle in the history of One Piece: the Summit War!

A colossal war at the Marine headquarters, Marineford, which erupted as the peak of tension between the World Government and the Whitebeard Pirates. This war was triggered by the capture of Portgas D. Ace, Commander of the 2nd Division of the Whitebeard Pirates, by Marshall D. Teach, who then handed him over to the Marines for the title of Shichibukai. The World Government decided to execute Ace publicly at Marineford to lure Whitebeard out and destroy one of the Yonko.

As the figure occupying the Shichibukai position replacing Crocodile, Miguel was at the peak of combat euphoria. However, just as his adrenaline reached its zenith, his consciousness was forcibly dragged into the Void Sanctuary.

His hot blood and combat spirit, which were still overflowing, were now forcibly suppressed, creating an extraordinary sense of frustration.

If one were to make an analogy, it felt like a man at the peak of passion about to ejaculate while having intercourse with a ’woman,’ only to suddenly receive a phone call from a black-hearted boss telling him to come to work right that instant.

A feeling that truly could not be described with words other than deep resentment.

”I agree with Miguel. Skip your prologue, start the Quest immediately.”

The voice came from Oscar, who sat calmly in Chair VI. His gaze was sharp, reflecting a figure who had just been pulled from a battlefield.

In his own world, Oscar was in the middle of the crucial process of conquering the 64th Dungeon, Flauros.

Far different from the concept of Dungeons in the world of Danmachi where Charlie was reincarnated, Dungeons in the world of Magi were mysterious buildings that appeared suddenly fourteen years before the main storyline began.

There were a total of 72 Dungeons scattered throughout the world, and it was common knowledge that anyone who successfully conquered them would be blessed with abundant wealth and power beyond human logic. Each Dungeon was ruled by a Djinn, a powerful entity waiting for a worthy king candidate. For Oscar, every second wasted in the Void Sanctuary was a risk of losing momentum in his conquest.

”Gaia, next time call us when we are free, okay? Why must you call at a time when we are so busy?”

This time it was a woman’s turn to complain. In Chair X, Elena appeared to be slowly massaging her temples, trying to soothe the headache attacking her due to the sudden shift in consciousness.

”Do you know that because of the time difference, once we return from the Planar World to our original worlds, we usually forget what we were doing there because we stayed in the Planar World too long? It’s very troublesome.” She continued, offering a suggestion in a tired tone.

The situation in Elena’s home world was no less tense.

At Kuoh Academy, a major agenda was taking place: The Meeting of the Three Factions—Heaven, Grigori, and the Underworld—aiming to discuss a peace treaty for the future of the supernatural world.

However, exactly as in the original work, an extremist group from the Old Devil faction that had joined the Khaos Brigade launched a surprise attack. They were trying to reignite the fires of war that had long been extinguished.

Elena was in the middle of the chaotic battle, fighting shoulder-to-shoulder with Sona and the others to hold back the onslaught, when in the blink of an eye, she realized her consciousness had completely shifted into the silence of the Void Sanctuary.

Three powerful individuals, from three different worlds, were now staring at Gaia with the same demand: finish this business immediately so they could return to their respective battlefields.

”Ugh... You guys... Fine, it really was my fault for choosing the wrong moment.”

Gaia, who actually still wanted to play around and enjoy her role as the center of attention, finally let out a long sigh of disappointment. She realized that the Saviors before her were in no mood for jokes.

”Apocalypse.”

When that name was called, the corner of Alaya’s lips seemed to lift slightly—a thin smile that was almost invisible before her face returned to being flat and emotionless.

”Yes, my lady!”

Suddenly, the air in the center of the room distorted. Hovering in the air, a book appeared whose appearance was enough to make one’s skin crawl.

The book had terrifying bulging eyes on both sides of its cover, with a mouth full of disproportionately sharp teeth and a long tongue sticking out.

The book flew in circles above the table, then stopped right in front of the line of Saviors. Its red eyes glanced at Charlie, Miguel, Oscar, Elena, and the other Saviors with a look full of disdain.

”Hehehe...”

Apocalypse laughed mockingly, its voice echoing unpleasantly throughout the Void Sanctuary.

”I truly hope this Quest isn’t just an afternoon stroll. I pray that you all get killed in the most horrific way this time. At least, that would make my story collection far more interesting than your boring successes.”

Ignoring the sharp gazes from the Saviors, the book flew open roughly.

The sound of tearing paper was heard as Apocalypse released four pages from its body.

The pages floated in the air, glowing dimly, and began to rotate slowly so that Charlie and the others could see the contents within them clearly.

”Now, look upon your own tombstones, o pursuers of death.” Apocalypse said while licking its own teeth with its disgusting long tongue.
