Journey to Planar World

Where was the White Tiger in this dire situation?

Why did the entity seem to be ”AFK” vanishing from the battlefield entirely?

In truth, the White Tiger bore a different responsibility. The beast was tasked with protecting Kei, who was currently entering the Dungeon. As her final line of defense, the White Tiger had to shield her from any threat that could endanger her life.

That was the sole reason why the White Tiger was absent while the Empyrean Citadel was being relentlessly besieged.

Once the initial shock subsided, the atmosphere turned utterly brutal. The Evilus members began to launch a ferocious counterattack.

Far different from ordinary adventurers—whose courage would instantly wither when facing Divine Beast Spirits (misunderstood as monsters surfacing from below)—the Evilus fought without a shred of fear.

To them, fear was a foreign concept. They were well-acquainted with the most horrific monsters. If they weren’t, where else would their Excelia have come from all this time?

It was true that their mentalities were warped and broken, but in terms of combat tenacity, their strength was beyond question.

In the sky, the Azure Dragon, the Qilin, and the Vermilion Bird held absolute control over aerial superiority. Realizing the difficulty of reaching the heavens, the Evilus immediately shifted their strategy. They began to target the Black Tortoise on the ground as their primary objective. While desperately defending themselves from the aerial bombardment raining down from above, they attempted to strike back with the limited methods at their disposal.

However, the Evilus made one critical mistake: they underestimated the Black Tortoise.

They did not know that the Divine Beast was renowned for a defense that was truly peerless. For a time, the battlefield was locked; both sides were held in a tense, balanced stalemate.

As time passed, Gods and Goddesses began to arrive to watch the grand spectacle unfolding before their eyes. Their eyes sparkled with passion, especially when they saw the figures of the Divine Beast Spirits in person. For many of them, this was the first time they had witnessed the appearance of the Spirit Race since they decided to descend and settle in the lower world.

”Wow! Who is so bold as to start a fight in the city? Last time it was the Apollo Familia, and now there’s another? Orario is no longer boring!”

”My goodness! Those are all Spirits! Has the Spirit Race decided to come out of their seclusion? Solo Leveling contracted two humanoid Spirits, and it turns out he was still hiding others!”

”Look! Is that the Sword Princess from the Loki Familia? Who is she fighting? Five against one? The Sword Princess is Level 6! Even though there are five opponents, it shouldn’t be difficult for her to defeat them! She seems to be struggling, which shows her enemies’ strength is not weak!”

”Where is Solo Leveling? His house is under attack, but he hasn’t appeared yet?”

The Gods and Goddesses began to discuss excitedly while watching from a distance. To those who live eternally, this bloody brawl was nothing more than a source of entertainment to kill their boredom.

*CLANG!* *CLANG!* *CLANG!*

Meanwhile, in the heart of the battlefield, Ais suffered minor injuries. The absence of her light armor left her skin vulnerable to grazes. Her rapier continued to chime, striking and parrying the attacks of her five opponents, all of whom possessed strength equivalent to Level 5.

(Who are they? It’s impossible for there to be unknown Level 5s in Orario)

Ais had caught glimpses of the faces beneath their cloaks, but she recognized none of them, adding to her confusion.

”Don’t daydream, Sword Princess! Let’s see if that flat expression of yours changes when I tear your clothes to shreds!” Ein shouted mockingly.

She utilized the other four Creatures to surround Ais.

Ein deliberately targeted the thin dress Ais was wearing. Several cunning slashes managed to tear the girl’s dress and short skirt, revealing her smooth, beautiful skin to the public eye.

Feeling the chill of the air on her wounded skin and the violating gazes of her enemies, Ais’s golden eyes sharpened.

”Tempest!”

Finally, Ais held back no longer. She chanted the Aria, the Wind Element Enchantment Magic that was her signature.

*FWOOSH!*

Instantly, a gust of fierce, green wind enveloped her body and weapon, enhancing her physical abilities to a terrifying degree.

*WHOOSH!*

In the blink of an eye, Ais vanished from sight, leaving only a trail of whirlwind that shattered the stonework.

*PUCHI!* *PUCHI!*

Before Ein could even react, Ais was already in front of her. A single horizontal slash reinforced by the wind sent two Creatures trying to block her path flying, throwing them against the building walls until they crumbled.

Ais moved like an unstoppable storm. Her rapier was no longer just a weapon, but a flash of green light carved into the air. Every time an enemy tried to approach, the wind pressure from Tempest blew them back before their weapons could even touch a strand of her hair.

With speed exceeding the limits of Level 6, Ais repaid every tear in her clothes with deep wounds upon her enemies, forcing them to retreat in panic as they realized the Sword Princess had stopped playing around.

”Well, this is getting interesting!”

Ein laughed boisterously, her voice piercing through the clashing of metal as she traded blows against Ais, who was now shrouded in the green storm.

However, in another corner of the battlefield, the atmosphere felt oppressive in a contrasting silence.

*BAM!* *BAM!* *BAM!* *BAM!*

In front of the entrance, Aishia stood directly against Banshee.

Since the first clash broke out, not a single word had escaped their lips. Banshee was not the type to enjoy talking like Ein during a fight, while Aishia naturally possessed a quiet personality. Their communication was solely through the exchange of blows.

Among all the battles taking place at the Empyrean Citadel, there was no doubt that the fight between these two was the most devastating.

Banshee radiated an extraordinary aura indicating Level 7 strength—a level that surpassed even the Sword Princess. Despite this, Aishia did not falter. She closed that physical ability gap with a Physical Enchant.

Without warning, the two moved simultaneously.

*BOOM!*

The stone floor beneath their feet shattered into pieces as they lunged. Their movements were no longer merely fast; they disappeared from the naked eye, leaving only atmospheric distortions and faint flashes of light. Spectators could only hear a series of deafening booms, like a non-stop barrage of cannon fire.

*SWISH!*

Banshee threw a straight punch that split the air, but Aishia parried it with an arm reinforced by Spirit Arts, creating a shockwave that swept away dust and debris around them for dozens of meters.

*BAM!* *BAM!* *BAM!* *BAM!*

Every time their fists and kicks collided, shockwaves exploded in all directions, creating visual effects that were both stunning and horrific.

Aishia moved with impressive precision. Although Banshee was naturally stronger, every one of Aishia’s attacks was wrapped in pure Magic Essence that made the surrounding air vibrate violently. As their legs clashed in mid-air, a sonic boom was created, causing the windows of nearby buildings to crack.

To the Gods watching from a distance, this hand-to-hand combat was no longer a mere fight, but a dance of destruction so artistic that every strike was a testament to a power exceeding 90% of all adventurers.
